I have no words, this place is FANTASTIC. We went for our anniversary and the dinner/ambiance exceeded my expectations. I will be returning! Steak frites 10/10!!!
I was looking for a place to celebrate my husbands birthday and this was a perfect choice. The ambiance is amazing. The drink selection stellar , and the service was amazing. Bret made went above and beyond to ensure we had a great dinner .
Everyone loved their food and our server was fabulous ( Ezed from Turkey). We felt like we were back in Paris!
Incredibly slow service. Drink order incorrect 3 times (“We’re short staffed). Two noisy tappers barking across at each other entire time. Food average. Will not go back.
Beautiful very beautiful
Very nice dinner experience at Boucherie. I’ve been to most of the other locations in the city, but this is the best one, in my opinion. The service is great and it makes for a very intimate dinner spot for special occasions.
Amazing ambience, beautiful restaurant with excellent brunch. Unfortunately the service did feel rushed, the confit de canard was ok, and the cheeses served were too cold. Otherwise, definitely would recommend this place. The Norwegian breakfast was excellent as were the fries.
Perfect ! The food was great and ambiance was great!
Food was average at best. Overpriced for quality.
Great food …. Great spot in the village ….
Wonderful relaxing lunch Food always a favorite
I will be honest, I was completely disappointed with this restaurant. The waitress was rude, and even slightly shamed one of my friends for how she wanted her food cooked, and brought it to her not correct. They forgot some of our side dishes, and brought them to us later. The food was subpar at best. Honestly have had better filet mignon at a backyard bbq. Do not waist your money on this overly-priced unremarkable restaurant.
Great ambiance and nice atmosphere! Staff was friendly and always around to assist 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I was early to meet my friend, but was seated immediately. Wait staff attentive and friendly. Food was excellent and the drinks were superb.
i was waiting for food more than1hour
Excellent food, service and ambience but a little pricey
My friends and I had a great brunch experience. Our server Gabby and the manager both checked on us and took great care of us throughout. The food runs a little high in price but was delicious. We didn't feel rushed and were able to enjoy our time there unlike other places in the village where you're either constantly ignored or pushed along to flip the table.
My friends and I were physically ill after our meal due to heat exhaustion. We were put upstairs in the corner and couldn’t even finish our meals because we were so hot. The food was very good, wish that we could have enjoyed it more.
Very nice staff, great food.
Overall, disappointing. We had a table outside and were seated right away- but things went downhill from there. We shimmied in to our seating cubby hole, making sure not to booty check the nearby table or the bulky partitions. It’s already stifling hot during a New York summer and the partitions just kept the furnace like air socked in and stagnant. We waited for 50 minutes for our server to acknowledge our table. This was after my date went to the host stand to let them know what has happening. We exchanged knowing glances to the table next to us (who was seated shortly after us) of WTF. I understand servers can get in the weeds, but just a quick drive-by and a “I’m your server, I’m so sorry but I will be with you shortly” would have remedied the frustration. He finally greeted the other table but they said to see us first. He took our order- no preamble, just “sorry for the delay. What would you like?” and left without taking the other tables order. The other table was finally greeted by who I’m assuming is the manager, then both of our dinners were underway. Food was delivered quickly and was decent, with no real complaints from there on. The server offered a dessert on the house to make up for the very late greeting but by then we were hot, sweaty, full, and ready to go home. New York is supposed to be known for its restaurants and service. While the food was decent, not the best I’ve ever had, the service was disappointing and put a damper on a Friday night out in the City. Not a relaxing experience and did not live up to the hype.
The ceiling was dripping on me and my table. Other than that, my experience was enjoyable.
Food and Service were amazing. Outdoor seating was airy and felt safe
Beautiful room. Steak frites was great. Usually steak frites is made w/ skirt or hangar; this dish used a full-on NY strip. Our waiter was terrific. I was trying to choose among three wines and he initially recommended the least expensive of the three. I inquired about the other two - in essence, gave him two opps to upsell me and he stuck w/ the initial recommendation. And a good recommendation it turned out to be.
Just know, the room is set up NY/French style - small tables very close together. We were okay with that, but if you're not comfortable w/ that kind of setup for whatever reason, you'd do well to steer clear - or sit outside.
We enjoyed our dinner at Boucherie. Great ambience. Great service. Wonderful escargot, steak and burgers. But $48 for Cod with lump crabmeat and the only crabmeat was the menu text? Not right.
Good food good service the food came quickly. They under cooked our steaks and they made us new ones with out complaining and gave a desert on the house as well
There was no AC on a VERY HOT AND HUMID day, while I book a table indoor. It is simply unacceptable... Food is good as usual but service was lagged.
Food was spectacular ❤️
The service was incredible from the serving staff and their knowledge of the menu and wine list was incredible. Our server was patient and answered all our answers with detailed recommendations. The food was delicious and well presented. The only sour start to the evening was the lack of professionalism and promptness by the hostesses. They seemed to not communicate with each other and told people in my party 3 different versions on whether we had a reservation and whether we could be seated. One hostess could not find our reservation after my name was given by a friend. Instead of suggesting that she searches by my phone number, she insisted there was no reservation. It took another hostess to try my number to find it when clearly my name was on the list. Otherwise the experience was wonderful and we were impressed with the professionalism and quality of the restaurant!
We had the worst steaks ever! Service was so delayed, our drinks arrived while we were finishing our appetizer..
The food was fantastic but it was SO hot in the restaurant; it was difficult to enjoy our meal.
Trouble conversing with the waiter. Orders had to be repeated several times. I tried to order a Salad Lyonnaise with greens substituted for frisee, a request that's routinely granted. I was told that was not possible.
My friend did not like her food at all but I loved mine. The atmosphere is great and so are bartenders. Service was okay.
Great food, great service, and great ambience. The octopus and escargot appetizers were phenomenal, and the steak was amazing as well. Akin was a wonderful server and extremely patient when we had trouble deciding what we wanted, and he gave great recommendations as well!
Boucherie has really stolen my heart with not only their delish food but also their phenomenal service! It’s rare to find a restaurant
where servers truly curate a memorable experience for their customers and that just shows how much they really care. My husband and I travel to NYC from Philly often and always stop at Boucherie for a meal. Can’t wait to go back for more!
Having been to Petite Boucherie, I was happy to check out their larger restaurant on 7th Avenue. It did not disappoint. The food was fresh and delicious and the staff was attentive. The main restaurant captures the essence of a French bistro and their added sidewalk dining area is great for people watching. A wonderful afternoon!
This is unauthentic French cuisine. Duck confit would never be served with a brown sauce that does not fit at all, and potatoes had nothing of “sarladaise”. The pâté de campagne was poor with too much chicken leaver. Snails are not testy. The place is pleasant and wine was good though. French tradition deserves much better.
one of the waiters was very sweet but the other was really cold and unfriendly.
two of our fish dishes (sea bass) arrived undercooked and one steak was not good but when we alerted the waitress she called the manager and had all our food redone and gave us a dessert on the house.
the crepe suisette was great, highly recommend that!
The chocolate desert was delicious! Our waiter Eric did a fantastic job; we had a lovely evening!
Overall I thought our dining experience was very good. I thought the atmosphere was great and the food very good. The onion soup was perfection. My husband and I would def come back.
