The food was excellent and the ambience was great but we sad at our table outside for 10-15 minutes before someone came to greet us and take our order. Then once we had our food no one checked in on us until we were done eating. For a place that nice and that expensive, I would have expected a higher level of service from the staff.

Perfectly fine. The location (on very loud 7th Avenue), is pretty miserable. I would recommend first trying to get a table at Buvette or Via Carota restaurants. But Boucherie will do in a pinch. The staff was extremely nice, but sadly the food was just mediocre.

Great meal at boucherie we all ordered the steak frites, which were delicious!

The server was excellent, even when she didn’t have a recommendation for us, she found someone who could!

The atmosphere was great, we ate indoors, there was amble space, it was warm and great music!

The food was excellent. Our server Alex was amazing. So was the rest of the staff. Because the rib eye takes about 30 mins to prepare and cook one of the staff brought us a complementary app so we wouldn't have to wait so long to eat something which was extremely thoughtful. They made my birthday feel special. We had the 50oz tomahawk and it was perfectly cooked. We were completely satisfied. the cocktails were great. I had the Boucherie Old Fashion. And the creme brulee alone is enough to have me come back.
Just a great experience.

OMG this boucherie in west village is beautiful!! Everything is perfect : service , people , manager , bartender , safety is number one for them !!! Staff were welcoming and fairly attentive. It was Monday lunch so not too busy. They did a good job with covid precautions so well done there. The food was mediocre so not very impressed on that front. I live in the neighborhood so will give it another try.

We came here recommended by my colleague who celebrated birthday at this restaurant, and I must say we left very happy, and we will be returning.
The servers were very friendly, the ambiance was amazing, and I loved how they had framed the menu bar code (sooo fancy).
I had the branzino, and my friend had the steak frites, both were perfectly prepared!
Highly recommend!

The restaurant is beautiful, the menu is phenomenal, the staff were all so friendly and helpful, and they’re clearly taking precautions to keep a safe distance between guests. Our server, Akin, helped answer our questions, gave tremendous recommendations, and even took care of the cost of our dessert. He was amazing and so was our entire experience.

Walking into this place it has a old fashion feeling but very confortable. The food was fantastic along with the drinks had the lamb chops with an old fashion. Will recommend this to everyone!

Came here for my bday dinner. Our server was excellent, and overall the food was good. If it weren't for the escargot I'd say all the food was great. The escargot was forgettable, though. Loved everything else and still recommend if you're looking for good French food!

Mushroom soup and cheese & charcuterie appetizer pretty good.

Rabbit was cooked & season well.

Chicken in Coq Au Vin was overcooked. Even with sauce still very dry. We don’t think it was made to order. It came out very quick which makes us think it was cooked the day before.

Server just okay. Didn’t really get involved too much with our meal.

Multiple homeless people harassing us during our meal.

Extremely overpriced.

Their mobile pay system did not work. Denied all of 3+ credit and debit cards

We expected more... won’t be returning.

It was our first indoor dining experience since lockdown and it was great. Even with the social distancing protocols there was a great atmosphere. The staff were super attentive and the food was excellent. We would definitely go back and recommend to others.

Tables far too close to each other during the pandemic, felt like I was sitting at a table with all the other guests. Service was a hot mess, no one knew what was going on. Multiple waiters got our orders confused, bought food to the wrong table, or forgot about drinks. Hostess yelled at waiter in front of us.

I was thoroughly looking forward to brunching at Boucherie. While the food was moderately tasty the food was not on par with the pricing of the dishes and I can only imagine that I was paying to dine in the West Village as opposed to paying for an above average meal. Furthermore, as I was waiting to use the restroom I did witness several of the cook staff not wearing gloves while handling the food. One person who was in charge of setting the plate on the counter for pickup was noted fixing the food with his non-gloved fingers on the plate as the food had shifted and then adjusting a stapler that happened to also be on the counter with the same non-gloved fingers. We are currently going through a global pandemic so hand hygiene should be more than above sub par.

Go for the beautiful people but the food was meh. The service was ok... my table didn't get any bread while everyone else around us did so that was kind of weird. My food was a bit soggy and overpriced.

The food was excellent but came all at once which then items got cold. We ordered a few apps and a beautiful wine. The wine at $96 a bottle was not cold enough for us. The food was delicious but again the escargot and the octopus was served at the same time and also came out faster than Macdonald’s which was weird. It was actually delicious but shame the octopus was cold by the time I finished the escargot which burnt my tongue it was so hot. The avocado salad was nice but nothing as amazing as my own. The server asked us if we wanted cracked pepper after we finished our meal almost we waited way too long for our again $96 bottle of Chardonnay to be continuously served one to many times. My boyfriend & I work endless hours on the west and east coast our precious time especially together is very limited I understand the covid of course but we’re still paying actually even more now.

Despite limitations caused by the coronavirus, my first dining experience at Boucherie was exceptional. The food was great, the outdoor ambiance was lovely, and the servers proved very pleasant and efficient. Would absolute recommend a friend to come here - especially to enjoy the steak frites!
