Mike was our server and he was the consummate professional. Great for our business dinner as everyone was happy. Love this guy! Food was great, and we were forewarned about quantities so we only took home a small percentage. Note: local folks can take food home. For business meals it makes sense to warn teams that these portions are huge.

What is really unacceptable are the restrictions. They forced you to order a specific amount of regular plates, even when you requested double the expense with appetizers. Example: table of 8. By default, 4 plates. We wanted to order 3 appetizers and 3 plates, and the answer was no. In the amount of money they lost, and as a customer, I was forced to order a fourth plate to go. The food was amazing!!!.But I am really disappointed with the absurd rules. I am not sure if, after so many years as a customer, I am going to visit this one again. If they want to reduce their customers, then it is an excellent new practice. Congrats!

We came here on a recommendation from some friends who dined here when they were in Puerto Rico a couple years ago. It was a little challenging to get to during rush hour but well worth the trip. We came to celebrate my husband's birthday. We were early, but seated promptly. Michael was our server and made some good recommendations. We had the veal chops for the appetizer. He warned us the portions were big and he wasn't kidding. The veal had a chili sauce which was delicious on top of a spicy pineapple salsa. That was more than enough for a meal for the both of us. We wanted the scallops and Michael recommended we have them blackened. They did not disappoint. They xame with mashed potatoes, vegetables and a side of beurre blanc. Michael brought a hoisin-type sauce for the scallops, but I preferred the beurre blanc. We wanted to try the Baked Alaska, having never had it and were warned it was huge. That was an understatement. The thing must have been made with a gallon of ice cream and could have served 12 people. It was delicious but we ended up leaving most of it. My husband enjoyed walking around the place in search of a nice wine for dinner. It took him almost 15 minutes but he chose an enjoyable sparkling moscato that went well with dinner. It's an interesting space. There was a table of "moms" behind me that seemed like the cast of The Real Housewives of San Juan. They were drinking up a storm and just after we were seated anout 20 teenage schoolgirls came and surrounded their table. They were very noisy, kept bumping into my chair, and seemingly waiting for these women to finish. The moms didn't seem to care that the girls were encroaching on other diners, in the way of the wait staff, or had seated themselves at an empty table. Let alone creating quite a ruckus. No one from the restaurant intervened and just allowed this fracas, making our delicious meal less enjoyable. Other than that, I'd definitely recommend this place.
