We made a last minute reservation on a Sunday with no problem. The restaurant has lots of big tables, so good for a group. The spicy Bloody Mary was good and the mimosa was good. My chicken and waffle was amazing. If you order the Calvin (short rib sandwich) it looks raw, but the meat is apparently just a lighter color. The waitress said some customers have complained about that, so it’s worth noting. The app says they have valet and they don’t. Also, it’s a bit noisy with the brewery tours next door. But, it’s a cool looking place. The food was pretty good. Love their fries!
Brunch was amazing! Their menu is small for brunch but it was really good
Bottomless mimosas were really good
This place is really open and nice on the inside. Love the bench tables. The food was good too, especially the fries with the dipping sauces. It was a fun place to go with friends and grab some drinks. Will definitely be back!
Nice place! Food was good, ambiance was great.
Good food, a bit noisy but fun.
Came here from Chicago. Great Food. Server was excellent.
We have been here so many times and I’m not sure if it’s because it switched management or what but this was an awful experience. Poorly trained waitress, under staffed, took an hour after being seated to get an order taken, no one apologized, said they didn’t have Diet Coke but had Coke Zero? Food was good but after 1.5 hour wait not worth it.
Excellent atmosphere, very welcoming with tons of natural light. The food was very good and the service was good.
This is now Bottle House 42 if you are confused on Google Maps. This is a very nice looking spot, full of green and light, like a light house. The service was a bit slow, but it was a Saturday evening. I ordered a sandwich and it was great. Due to the open plan of the restaurant it can get quite energetic noise wise. I would like to come here again next time I am in Milwaukee.
The place is well laid out and a great place to people watch. The food is good and the beer selection robust.
The service stinks. The wait staff is inattentive and slow. I watched our 3 rounds of drinks sit at the end of the bar for 10 minutes each time and the first round was wrong. We were interrupted 3 times while eating by a food server bringing us other people’s orders. The only thing promptly delivered was the bill.
We would have ordered desert but the bartender and our server were tied up with another tables screwed up order.
I wish I could recommend the place but both times I was there I had the same lackluster experience. I had high hopes with them rebranding to Bottlehouse 42.
We really liked the laid back feeling of the open space. Our server was outstanding, so nice and helpful. Good food and fairly priced!
The food was just OK, very limited menu and not many healthy options. It was a loud environment but great atmosphere. It’s a great beer hall if you love beer.
Very nice aesthetic, I'd go back for that alone. However, the service was very poor. I had been seated for nearly 20 mins before anyone came over to greet me or ask if I needed anything. After sitting for nearly 20 mins I stopped someone and asked them for assistance. We were informed there was only one server working that day, however, it seemed as if every other table was well taken care of except ours. I would hate to assume it was because we were Black, but I literally couldn't think of any other reason. Very nice place & decent food would love to see an improvement with customer service.
Easter brunch - limited menu with not exciting choices or tasty options for breakfast or brunch. Breakfast Tacos were drenched in greasy sauces and not really flavorful. Chicken strips were delicious and best thing we ate which is comical for Easter brunch. Beautiful atmosphere, short staffed but friendly and good value bottomless mimosas. Better lunch option unless they get it together and figure out brunch.
Loved the atmosphere and the food was decent. The service was spotty. Bottomless mimosas poorly made. Turned out they were out of champagne. The place has lots of potential.
Little to choose from on Good Friday. Cheese curds were not pretzel covered this time. Beer was great.
Beautiful decor, we didn’t want to leave! Great food and beer mimosas. Attentive service.
We were excited to try a new place and knew this venue was big and airy. Upon entering the dining area was pretty noisy but that was OK. We were greeted appropriately and asked about drinks. We ordered an app right away but 45 min later it still had not come and we had asked twice. It then came and our food came right after. The food was decent but the overall attention from our server was not the best.
Great food, great atmosphere! The beet and avocado salad was super delicious! Highly recommend!
They need to remove themselves from the brunch game!
great open spot to meet for a drink and app!
We made the reservation and we went to the restaurant and it was closed. We were looking forward to eating there, and found it interesting that we could make a reservation for a restaurant that wasn’t open at that time.
Food was not very good and the server was not very friendly or timely.
We had a big party and our server handled us like a true champ! The margaritas leave LOTS to be desired. 3 people retuned them.
Took reservation, but restaurant wasn't even open.
Rude waiter, do not expect to be treated like a human being if you are anything but of white descendant. Extremely rude and condescending service and atmosphere.
Great- felt like an open space- would definitely go again.
Terrible. I made a reservation for a special date. I got there and the place had a wedding, an the restaurant was not working that night. It ruined my night.
Not huge fan of chips, would rather of had options like side salad or even fries.
First we thought we were going to be on the roof top as advertised, that was very disappointing!!!! Our food was awful, it tasted very blend and weird, also our waiter was inattentive, we waved him down and try yelling for him he completely ignored us. It made us feel very sad when we saw him being so social with other tables near us.... we waited one hour for him us condiments so we could’ve attempted to make our food taste better. Out cocktails were amazing I can say that, also the manager acknowledged and compensated us by taking the food off our bill! I wouldn’t return to this place unless I was having drinks only at the bar!!!
I don’t really have any complaints with what was served, or how the whole event was. It was all fantastic. I just wish there were some brunch options on the menu. We came at 11am on a Sunday. It’s Milwaukee. I would’ve thought there would be some sort of mixed menu. But... never the less, would definitely return. I guess it’s my fault for not looking at the menu ahead.
I went with a gal pal and we were both first timers. It was pretty empty when we arrived. We were disappointed that the rooftop is only open on the weekends, but had lovely outdoor seating on first level. We had delicious mojitos and shared potachos.(nachos with potatoes. Huge platter was generous for both of us. Very tasty.
My server was not attentive and was not able to provide any suggestions. The food looked OK, but lacked seasoning and taste. Not many options for sides and appetizers. The drinks were not good. I'd only recommend going here for beer and selfies.
Servers were not wearing masks properly. Watched staff take off masks as soon as they walked into the kitchen. As a customer, didn’t feel comfortable. Great ambiance!!! Cheese curds were great. Service wasn’t the greatest. Slow service and not many guests were there.
Awesome atmosphere that makes you feel like you're in a greenhouse. Food was solid, but nothing special.
Food was very good, Cesar salad was crispy, potato chips and dip were very good, cod sticks were crispy, chicken sandwich was delicious the pimento spread was so good. And of course the beer is always one of the best in MKE
decent but not special
Service was great & food came fast !! Food tasted great but Bloody Mary was just so so . I would go back again :)
Honestly, I wouldn't recommend the food at this time. My kid and I ordered the double brat patty sandwich with chips and onion rings. Both items came out rather quickly, but were cold to luke warm at best. My not-so-picky kid wasn't refused eat anymore than a few bites, citing his displeasure with the food temperature as well. I wanted to complain but it was very busy. Just grabbed the check, paid, and left
