Mediocre food, burger bun stale and disintegrated instantly. 2 adults and 2 kids and had service charge added?? Disgraceful for a pop up burger shack. Portaloos unhygienic. But the barn is quite nice..

Delicious burgers and cheesy chips. Too bad about the burger bun. Dry and flaky it just disintegrated as soon as we picked it up. Perfect ingredients inside but please get nicer brioche buns! Atmosphere fantastic. Servers are friendly but we waited over 20 mins and asked three times to pay the bill. When the young man did bring the card machine he quickly added the tip choice himself, hoping I wouldn’t notice. A bit cheeky. Overall it’s a great place.

So disappointed having eaten at the Bottle and Glass quite a few times. Incredibly slow service. Waited over an hour for starters. Main course for two of us (party of six) pretty awful and very small. When given additional trout, it was uncooked. Most embarrassing for me having bought friends for whom it was a first visit. The food is not cheap and although we were not charged for the wine we were still charged for a portion of our meal. It will be some time before we visit again.

Nice location, relaxed atmosphere, good facilities. Food was OK, well cooked but nothing special from a very limited menu

Had to send one main course back as the ragu was sugary and inedible. The portion was also quite small for a main course.
Reordered a steak and it came over cooked - rare and again was a small portion for £30.
Overcharged on the chips as we ordered a portion to go with the ragu but that was sent back…

Great service, excellent food. A very well-trained and first rate waitress. The slight issue was that she was alone while 4 or 5 guys were in the kitchen. To get our bill I had to go to the kitchen and point out that we felt ignored by them while the waitress was running about taking orders and serving. Perhaps consider a slight change in the way things are done?

Very average food, but expensive. The sticky toffee pudding was stodgy and heavy - not pleasant at all.
Slowish service…. To be honest not worth the effort, been to better that was also much better value. I won’t be going back.

The burger Barn at the B&G is was good venue for an impromptu mid week burger - burgers were excellent, as were chips and we had a great bottle of rose.

Interesting menu, more adventurous than the usual pub fare. Good cask beer selection and nice wine list. Food was good and well presented with homemade sauces. Service was excellent.
We sat outside under a large umbrella as it was hot and sunny.

A friendly place with good service and a nice ambience on the terrace. Staff attentive and helpful. Menu with good variety including vegetarian options. But quality of dishes can vary and be disappointing: Examples: the cured salmon starter was well presented and good. The main 'Fallow deer ragu' was dull, heavy and seemed reheated. Because of this variation the overall cost seemed high cf. some other restaurants. Could not wish to recommend without mentioning the quality variation although our experience is limited of course.

Although we had alerted the venue in advance that one guest required gluten free food, it was very disappointing that none of the four desserts on offer could be readily adapted to suit. I would not recommend this venue for coeliacs

Really good burger and even better fries. If you appreciate good food, even if it’s only a burger, this is a good one.
However be prepared for plastic cutlery and we had 2 drinks each plus a burger and fries which came to £60— seems expensive or am I out of touch with prices?

We have always loved Bottle & Glass! It’s slightly different from the usual sophisticated ambiance being in the barn and only being able to choose from the barn menu but it was fun and the kids loved running around outside! It won’t put us off coming again.

A very good meal in lovely surroundings. Very good friendly service apart from long wait for main course. A complimentary glass of wine was appreciated, but they should perhaps have made more of an effort to keep us up to date.

Great service and lovely cocktails made by the waitresses.
I do love this pub but…Food was very bland and under seasoned. I’m always disappointed if I could have done it at home much better..which I could have. More pickled radish and dill/creme fresh - needed some acidity to balance with the salmon. This could have been great but wasn’t.
I think of flat iron steak as being a tasty but tougher cut. So I chose this as I’m all for taste. But again so bland. Thought it would have a good chargrilled taste but flabby and no seasoning. Peppercorn sauce was oily and didn’t taste nice. On a more positive note the chips were great and the green salad tasty and well dressed.
Pappardelle ragu was good and tasty.
Lovely environment and excellent people and service.
I’ve had much better food here in the past . Perhaps it was a blip.
Still I did enjoy my evening.

Brilliant atmosphere for the football. Thought it would be cold, but wasn’t at all. The service could have been a little better, but it was a busy night. They really need to invest in some decent portable loos though if it’s going to be a long-term venture.

Our overall experience was mixed - it was a Sunday in fairness so there were lots of families and it was perhaps busier than usual. Food didnt quite live up to expectation and staff were busy. It was still pretty nice but we feel another day would have been better.
