Absolutely love this restaraunt! For appetizers we had the grilled cheese with tomato soup, Brussels sprouts, shrimp and grits, and fried oysters. All four were cooked perfect and had tons of southern flavors. For dinners we tried the ribs, fried chicken and kale salads. All were excellent and of course we tried bourbon old fashions, Manhattans and bourbon rocks. We topped it all of with a nut pie and it was just as good as the rest of the meal. We felt that the prices were reasonable for all of the food we were served. Our service was excellent and the atmosphere is very trendy and warm. Many fireplaces, seating areas, bar and even a moss wall give it a nice vibe. You must make a visit with a group.
Good food, poor service ran out of water 4 times. Food tasted good. Some items on menu overpriced.
I absolutely loved the Gnocchi and Wabbit Cocktail! Then I made the mistake of getting the Nashville chicken sandwich, it was dry and burnt on the edges, some one left it on the grill way too long. The bun for the sandwich was gross and soggy from the cabbage mix put on the sandwich. The fries were sad and under seasoned. I realized after I took a couple bites, I should have gotten the grits and shrimp. I doubt we will be back, it's so over priced for what it is. However our server was so so so awesome, she made the experience a million times better! It's very few and far between you get good service anymore, but she was on it, the service was EXCELLENT!!!
Outstanding atmosphere and menu! Highly recommend the Brussels Sprouts.
Beautiful architecture, combined with poor food made for a truly disappointing and overpriced experience. A small, end unit of fishy and unseasoned salmon and a quinoa bowl with three shrimp and two glasses of wine came to a $60 lunch that was an overpriced and disproportionate letdown. Maybe we arrived on an off day. It is a beautiful structure. Our server was fine. The experience, however, was more about appearance and so much less than about substance. Our hope is that it will be more than appearance and succeed as a fine restaurant. Our experience, however, was so much less than the reviews indicated and what we had expected.
Food was really good but the steaks and drinks were a little pricey!!
We were celebrating my boyfriend’s 31st Birthday and our waitresses created the best experience. Our appetizer came out in a reasonable amount of time, drinks were delicious, and steaks were amazing! Can’t wait to go back!
Food was awful. Service was good though. Won’t go back.
We were there on a Saturday 11/2/19, with a party of 8, we had a reservation. We were seated 15 minutes early, which we appreciated we were touring the bourbon trail and loved the idea of saving time. We ordered lunch (sandwiches, soup and one order of fried chicken) and drinks within 15 minutes of being seated. We waited 1hr 15 minutes for our food. There were maybe 8 other tables with people, no large groups, it was not busy and it seemed like there was plenty of wait staff. After 45 minutes it felt like our waitress was avoiding even looking in our direction. If there was a problem we should have been notified by her or even better an apologetic manager, if there even was a manager. We made the reservation thinking this would be a "fun/different" alternative to the more traditional distilleries/restaurants. The atmosphere is neat. The service and general lack of concern from anyone working there was awful. On a beautiful day in bourbon country, 4 1/2 hours from home, we were stuck in a restaurant wasting time waiting on food that was good but it was just sandwiches/fries and soup. I would not recommend trying unless you have plenty of time to just hang out.
Awesome! Will visit again very soon.
On a cold night, they tried to sit us near the front door to start. Accommodated our request to move. Beautiful contemporary interior, but food was bland and not creative. Wife's salad had dressing so thick and flavorless that it seemed like it had been slathered in mayo. Waiter was nice, willing to offer an alternative. Celebrating our son's 21st birthday; waiter brought dessert on the house.
Not horrible, but had higher expectations based on the contemporary remodel and the quality of food at other stops along the Bourbon Trail. Just fell short
Impressive facility. Cocktails were above average. The fried chicken was very good and huge. Service was efficient and caring. Very enjoyable meal
The food was excellent; the cocktails outstanding!
The food was outstanding and the ambience was very classy. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back.
Service was slow. Server didn’t seem familiar with the evening’s menu or bar items. He seemed to have a hard time understanding what we were asking. The food was good (not great)

Food was great but the service was a pretty slow and while the restaurant is beautiful, it wasn't very full (which was odd for a Saturday night) and didn't have much of a "vibe." Cocktails were amazing.
Vacation travel to bourbon country; fantastic restaurant in modern distillery.
Seating was terrible waitress was not very well versed drinks were subpar
One of the absolute best meals and experiences ever! We had a fabulous round table for the 9 of us. We had at least 10 different menu items and each of them was outstanding! And the service and ambiance were excellent. We will definitely recommend and be back!
I hate to write this review....I really like this place.
The setting is beautiful & the old fashions are still quite good.
But it’s very sad to say the service & the food have gone a far way down hill since my last visit in April this year.
Salads orders came after delivery of the entrees.
My friends fried chicken looked perfectly done from the outside but once torn open was raw. My steak was perfectly cooked but was cold upon delivery. Several times during our stay as good was brought to tables utensils were dropped & rattles to the floor...
once a server delivered food intended for a table next to us to our table.
The head wait staff person came to apologize about the salad delivery & state of the fried chicken but we never saw a manager....
Bread pudding was offered as well as apologies... but we expected better
Don’t think we’ll be coming back

This is an update
The general manager, Thad Mattingly reaches out and made a personal phone call to inquire about our visit. I just received a gift card in the mail with his business card asking that we give Bottle & Bond Kitchen and Bar another opportunity to do better.
This is what customer service is all about.
Hope to see y’all soon!
Wow! Wow! Wow! This place is fantastic and a great value. Everything we ate was good (so good we went back again!). The burger, perfect char and soft bun, Nashville pulled chicken sandwich was a great blend of heat and textures. But the brussel sprouts stole the show. I dint have enough adjectives to describe the bourbon glaze, roasted real blue cheese bacon/pork belly goodness that these little nuggets possessed. You made it to our top 100 restaurant list we share with family, friends and followers. And an added bonus the service was very good too!
Just saw an advertisement of the food and it definitely lived up to the photos. The food, service and ambiance were all great. Would definitely recommend for others to go and enjoy.
A top dining experience while on the Bourbon Trail or visiting the Bardstown area. One of the best bourbon menus to be found!
Food was and always is delicious! We'll be back again soon.
The atmosphere is hip and modern and the service was friendly. Will definitely be back to have more of those KILLER French fries!
Nice place with a great bar list. Hostess seated us early so that was a great start to our evening. Very cool atmosphere!
Exceptional addition to the Bardstown bourbon and dining scene. The restaurant features expansive views out to the modern rickhouses through two-story, floor to ceiling windows, a central tower fireplace, and comfortable seating at the bar. Food was amazing with generous portions, we shared the porterhouse-for-two and brussel sprout apoetizer paired with selections from an inspired bourbon collection. Pre-dinner craft cocktails around the outdoor firepits are a must!
I am a repeat customer. This the fourth time I have been to Bottle and Bond. This place is amazing. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Extremely tasty food. This is the place I recommend to anyone that is looking for a different meal experience in this area.
If you’re in the area or planning your way across the bourbon trail, this is a fantastic stop. The food was excellent - the Brussel Sprouts and the Corn Bread were incredible. The facility is beautiful, and the service was excellent. I hope you’re lucky enough to have Tonya as your server - she was a lot of fun. Don’t miss this stop.
Great place with a very inviting presence. Food was great and was out in a timely fashion. Definitely recommend to anyone visiting town and wanting a one off experience.
Great food,drinks and service!
Food was good with very small menu. Drinks are strong!!
The ambiance was good and the service was very good, but despite the name the kitchen came up short for us. We liked the open space concept and the comfortable chairs, and the service staff was very friendly and accommodating. The service itself was prompt and efficient. The whiskey flight was worth the drive and the charcuterie platter was abundant, but the steaks were not properly prepared. Although cooked to the right level of doneness, there was no crust or sizzle and the overall texture of the steaks was flaccid. The accompanying "wedge" salad was half of a small head of romaine rather than the more conventional wedge of iceberg, and the bacon garnish was skimpy at best. The Brussels sprouts were great right up until they decided it was a good idea to throw in large chunks of blue cheese. There were too many strong flavors competing for attention. Sometimes less is more.
Time with sister and husband ... annual bourbon trail visit
This is one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten in, and I am well traveles. I am so grateful it is so close. Cheers to more fine dining here!
Small menu and were out of ribs at noon. Choice the fried chicken, needs improvement.
