It was amazing! Thank you! We have no complaints and plan to return
This was our 2nd time at Bottle & Bond. Both times we were a party of 4. First experience was excellent, last weekend was not great. When we sat down we immediately got water but waited 10mins for our drink order & another 10 Mins to get our first drinks. Our server did mention that he had a lot of other tables so we were patient. We ordered food about 25 Mins after being seated & waited over 40 Mins to receive our filets. During that time we placed a second drink order & waited over 10 Mins for those drinks.
We ordered 2 Meds & 2 Med Rares. When I cut into my Steak I expected Med Rare but it was definitely Med +.
Later we realized, When we got our steaks, they were placed at the wrong seats. The food server placed them correctly but our waiter came back to the table & said he placed them wrong, so we switched our plates before eating.
The server didn’t apologize or try to correct the situation, I requested another steak but said “if it’s going to take 30 Mins I’ll just eat this because we’ve been waiting a long time” & his response was “um, I don’t know how long it’ll take”
We ended up ordering 2 new filets, waited 12 Mins & they were still not cooked correctly but to save our time, we ate them. No apology was ever given, the server never spoke loud or clear enough for us to hear him. No manager visited the table to apologize for a 60+ min wait for an incorrect steak.
Mistakes happen & servers get overwhelmed. But the money we spent & distance we drove for this food deserves A++ service & food. We received C service, at best. I was extremely unpleased & expected more.
The only reason I didn’t request a manager or discount is because I didn’t want to come off as someone trying to get a cheap meal.
It’s worth 20 more miles & $100 to go to Jeff Ruby’s.
Awesome service. Outstanding cuisine. Fabulous dinner.
Great atmosphere and great food! My wife and I went there for our wedding anniversary and it made for a memorable night. It is a beautiful restaurant with a unique menu. It has options for the entire family at different price points. What is nice is the tables are spaced out enough to where a family could be there enjoying themselves while a couple could be there on date night and both parties can have their own space. The bourbon tasting area with bottles on display is a nice touch to restaurant. I will be recommending Bottle and Bond to all of my friends and family.
Most amazing food, atmosphere and staff. The Old Fashioned was spectacular. We will certainly be back!
Our server, G, could not have been better. He was attentive but didn’t “hover”.
The food and service were wonderful!! Kandi was an amazing server and helped us choose from the varied and delicious menu. The Brussels sprouts were the best I’ve ever had. Everyone in our group enjoyed their food and cocktails!!
My aunt came to Elizabethown to visit her sister. They came to Bardstown for the day to visit my home.
Get the fried chicken! The best!
Excellent from the bar service by Katelin to the young man waiting on our group. We had a wonderful time at your restaurant.
This place is incredible for Bardstown..
It's literally as good as any restaurant I've been to in NYC, Chicago, Houston, Miami, LA etc...
I got the New York Strip and it was the best steal I've ever eaten. I paid $163 for a Ribeye in Houston that wasn't this good.
If your out in that area... it’s a must!! Fabulous steak and wonderful service. Beautiful building pumping out it’s Fusion Bourbon.
Enjoyed lunch during our Kentucky Bourbon Trail day. Food and service were excellent!
Great visit. Get the fries.
Food Wasn't worth the price.
Service was horrible and it wasn't even busy. I definitely won't go back.
Amazing!!! Bardstown is my favorite place. We were blown away with the food and the atmosphere
The food here is consistently delicious. I love everything I’ve eaten here!
Our food was tasty. Service could definitely be improved. It was our anniversary so my sister ordered the appetizer for $30 as a treat to us and when we got home we noticed we were charged for half. My brother In law ordered a certain beer and the wrong beer was delivered. He did not want to complain so we said it was ok. My husband ordered a salad and the salmon meal with broccoli but was given a salad with salmon as the protein. Again he said nothing. We have no desire to return.
My husband and I ate at the Bottle and Bond for our anniversary dinner. We started with the Brussel sprouts for an appetizer. I had the Caesar salad and my husband had the wedge salad, both were crisp with delicious dressings. We split the New York strip and it was cooked perfectly. We also split the bread pudding and I can say without a doubt that it was the best bread pudding I have ever eaten. So for an appetizer, a side salad, a split entree, tea, the best bread pudding I’ve ever tasted, and great service, our total was $88. We certainly could have chosen a less expensive entree but I really wanted to try the steak. We are already planning what to have on our next visit, so I would definitely recommend giving them a try.
Wonderful patio, great atmosphere and fabulous food and drinks
Very enjoyable birthday experience. Ate outside on a beautiful day. Food and service were very good. Only negative comment is that they were spraying the field and the spray was drifting over to the front of the building. Hopefully this can be corrected.
A real diamond in the rough! Bottle and Bond provides an experience that you would expect to find in a larger city, metropolitan area. Beautiful place with amazing food and environment! I would highly recommend it to anyone!
Great place! We will definitely go back as soon as possible!
A group of 7 West Point Grads of 1978 reunited for The KY Bourbon Trail experience. We chose your restaurant as our special meal!
My wife’s birthday.
This was the 4th or 5th time we have had lunch here and once again it did not disappoint! Already looking forward to our next visit!
We have heard of this place and finally had this chance to check it out. We made a reservation for 1:15on a Sunday. They were fairly busy but we may not have needed the reservation for our party of 3. The host and server were friendly and prompt. We started with two shareable items, Mac and cheese and the brussel sprouts. LOVED THEM BOTH! I could have made either of them my meal. We browsed the little store while we waited for our food and the team member there was knowledgeable and friendly. Lunch came and it was just as good as the starters. One burger, one chicken salad sandwich and the fried chicken. All were beautifully displayed, the right temp and delicious. Sorry there are no pictures we we're hungry so we just started eating! Our server recommend the bread pudding and it did not disappoint! We will be back and bring friends!
My only really complaint was out service. It took 10 minutes to get our drinks, no alcohol. She was not attentive and did not offer refills. We had to ask for for everything.
Really cool atmosphere. Service was not very good, but not a deal breaker...food was excellent. Overall it was a good experience. Worth the drive from Louisville to Bardstown.
We always enjoys Bottle and Bond
Beautiful Facility! Great food great service a four star restaurant in Bardstown! One of the best bourbon menus I’ve ever seen!
If you are on an economy budget this is not for you. With a drink or two each and dinner figure hundred dollars per head with tip....but the quality is worth it!!
We definitely will be back!!!
We had a 6:30 reservation. They got us seated right away. We had a brand new waiter that said it was his second day in the job. It took 3 separate waiters to open a bottle of wine and no wine pouring training at all. Food was great. Need more employee training. We didn’t get out of the restaurant until almost 10pm. It took forever to get food. We ordered a salad and it was HUGE. Would have been nice to have had a warning on that. Also after we finished our salads, plates were left on the table for at least 30 minutes. Overall great place. Just need more training.
Food was not a good value. Got the $90 steak and was not “wowed”. Friends got salmon which was good but for the price I would expect that. Drinks were fine but overall I don’t plan to go back. Way too expensive for what they serve. One word to describe my experience would be disappointed.
Staff to determined to remove wares from table. Staff reached over under and in between which interrupted conversation and dinner.
Everything was excellent but I did have one small complaint. I ordered the brisket sandwich and I just thought it was rather dry. It did not come with any juice or sauce, but I should have asked for something . Just a thought. Everything else was wonderful and we will definitely be back.
However I would tell them to ask for a table on other side from the DJ. Our server was great!
When my party arrived there were two larger parties (8 and 10) seated at the far end of the restaurant and no one else. The hostess tried to seat us not 3 feet away from the two large parties, despite an otherwise empty room. We had to ask to be moved. We were then rushed to give a drinks order and waited 20 minutes to receive the drinks. Our orders were taken in the meantime and arrived about 30 minutes later. Our meals were switched by the wait staff and one patron ate a rare salmon, which they hated and another ate a well done salmon which they hated. Nothing was said because our party had already complained about the table. Until it was too late, it never occurred to us that the orders had been swapped. The fish was covered with a sauce that tasted like pure maple syrup. Veggies and cornbread were delicious. This could be a very nice restaurant, but the service needs a lot of work. For $50 per person for lunch, I wouldn’t return. The single barrel bourbon old fashioned, however, was the best ever tried.
The food is always delicious. The service was a little slow this time. We ordered appetizers and the server never came back around, so we motioned her over to put in our food order. Our reservation was at noon and they were not busy when we got there, but it took a very long time for our burgers to come out.
Very nice place. It was extremely relaxed and a great place to try any kind of bourbon you can think of. Great food and atmosphere. Definitely a go to destination in Bardstown.
