Great lunch! We had a group of nine and service was good. Delicious food. We’ll be back.
We had reservations for two for a birthday dinner. We were greeted and seated immediately. The service was very attentive and the food delicious and attractive. We will go again.
The food os always great here. Our server is an expert in convincing us to look at the dessert menu. Needless to say, our group of nine were suckered into having their delicious desserts. Lol.
Great ending to a night out.
Seated right away! Dinner was all around great experience. Great service by Donald and food was awesome!
Food was wonderful and our server was friendly. Great experience. Dessert was amazing.
Had lunch here at this charming restaurant. The service was fine. Very nice, varied menu. Quite a large offering of food items. I ordered the Eggplant Rotini and 2 meatballs, which were quite large, but very moist and delicious. Other items ordered at the table were, a Cobb salad, rigatoni with gorgonzola cream sauce and spaghetti and meatballs.
All orders, very large in size.
Everyone took take home boxes.
The outside patio is quite large and so inviting! Will sit their the next time!
They have a full bar and a Happy Hour.
Will definitely return to this restaurant!!
The people are very friendly. The service is excellent, even though they are busy!
Very good! As usual 😊
I have eaten here many times and always had wonderful service (Ty) is fantastic! The last my girlfriends and I went it was a completely different experience..our waitress was rude.. I will go back the food is great...outside seating is lovely. That night was very disappointing as we were saying goodbye to a good friend that is moving.
This was our first visit to the restaurant and was very pleasantly surprised. We sat outside and even though the weather was warm, the area was well shaded and comfortable. I will definitely return.
Always great here. Food is fabulous from cheesy bread to appetizers to pasta and their salmon. My favorite is the tortelloni with cask tan chili cream sauce. Always very accommodating to special requests. Servers very attentive, had Donald this time. Only complaint is they were out of the Malbec and the Zin.
It was a great time, except we were not seated until almost 7:00 and our reservation was 6:15. It was very noisy, but it was a holiday and very busy. We will go back and hope for a table within a reasonable time.
We visit Bottega Michaelangelo frequently and have never been disappointed. Wife chose this restaurant for Mother's day and I was somewhat apprehensive about what we know would be a big crowd.
To our pleasant surprise, are concerns were unfounded. The place was packed, but the augmented staff was prepared and even though we were there in the early evening, our waitress was smiling, friendly and totally efficient.
I tend to observe such things, and it was impressive to see how well the staff worked together. We had a few requests and several different staff members efficiently responded. I could see our waitress talking with different members of the staff. Despite the crowd, we never felt rushed. We were in and out in a comfortable hour, including our favorite Tiramisu dessert. Yes, the noise level was high, but given the size of the crowd, it wasn't bad enough to keep us from enjoying our meal!
This restaurant is one of my favorites. The staff is always nice and they pay attention to their customers. The food is wonderful. I always enjoy my time there.
The food was good, I had the peach waffles and they were delicious, but the service was very slow, it took over an hour to get our meal. Also, there was a mix-up with our reservation, they couldn't find it and then they said they had given our table to another party who said they had the same last name as mine. They ended up accommodating us, but it was embarrassing and this caused a delay in the entrance. I would recommend, but I think they need to work on some of these details.
Yes it is Mother’s Day and every one goes out to breakfast, but the service was very very slow and the staff just OK.
Horrible experience with our Mother’s Day brunch. Will not be back.
The entire family loves this place and the food is amazing.
The restaurant was noisy. It was a Friday night and a graduation weekend so that was expected, but the 4 of us had trouble conversing.
Only 4 stars on service as it was VERY busy and service was a bit inattentive at times. Manager stepped in to help. Otherwise, a great experience!
I took my girlfriend there for her birthday and added that this was a birthday celebration on my Open Table reservation.
Plus I added "please make a fuss". When the server approached us for drinks I even mentioned that it was her birthday. The server did not even say HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Our food was very good but I was extremely
disappointed that no one read my reservation. At the end of the meal the server simply asked us if we care for anything else.
I will not be celebrating any other birthdays there.
When we lived on the West side we used to go to Michelangelo's. Thursday we went again with friends. I had the chicken parm. The chicken was very thin and the breading was just about burned. I cut the sides and the bottom breading off. I ate about half of the entree. One of my friends also ordered the chicken parm and her chicken was a normal thickness and the breading was not burned. I told the server when she took my plate that I did not want to take what was left over as it actually was cooked too long and was too burned to eat. Not on word was said and I got no apology. I come from an Italian family in New York and my uncle owned an Italian restaurant and I know he would not have served the chicken parm that I receved yesterday.
Yellow beet salad was delicious as well as the eggplant parm. Bread and dipping sauce very flavorful. Zinfandel wine was good but wish Malbec was available. Malbec must be popular as frequently not available.
The only thing they got right about our evening was the time of our reservation, despite my calling to confirm the day before. Loud, crowded, overheated - couple that with overpriced but unimpressive food and we won't be going back.
An apparent wait person mixup left us without service for what seemed interminable, but one word to manager had it handled. Then service was impeccable. Thank you!
Food was outstanding and the price was right.
Would go again .
We really enjoyed the food and the experience. Good place to eat, good value.
I love the food, and the service was EXCELLENT, but the noise level is almost painful. Hard floors, walls, ceilings and plate glass. No noise attenuation at all. Every restaurant has loud customers, but in this restaurant, you can hear every one of them, and conversation at your table requires a liberal dose of, "What?"
I've heard that restaurant owners do this intentionally to get customers to finish & leave so they can flip the table. It works. Unfortunately, I won't be back often.
"Energetic" noise level is an understatement. More like, "Football Stadium."
We were celebrating a birthday. The waitress never brought the birthday dessert. I was embarrassed. The lasagna was bland ...my salad was nothing special. The breakfasts looked good. I would say it was not awful but certainly not anything special.
The food was delicious and the service was great, too. I turned my parents, in their 80's, on to the wonders of a well made rissoto. A great time. There is a bit of an opportunity to improve wine service and the opportunity will be addressed at an upcoming staff meeting. More of an educational thing and it's not a "wine snob" thing. This is a really good restaurant, always room for improvement. Our server was really great and very attentive towards making things right. Nicely done without any problems. We will be back.
The food was amazing. We had calamari appetizer and I had the cannoli another in our group had the tortellini and another the risotto. Everything was cooked to perfection. The cannelloni was rich and meaty. They have a selection of wine from Italy but I would say our server was not so helpful with wine selection maybe some education for the staff would be my recommendation. The dessert case should not be overlooked! The limoncello cake is spectacular!
I think salad should be included with the entree. I basically had 4 raviolis in sauce with a piece of bread.
Ordered a margarita with salt. Drink arrived with a few kernels of salt in one area. Hardly a drink with a salted rim. Instead of saying “I will get this corrected right away”, the server says”Welk, there is some salt over here,” as if I should not ask that the rim be salted. Very disappointing.
Great food, terrific service. Friendly atmosphere. Desserts to pine for. Will return
food, wine and service were all very good.next time in Tuscon it is a MUST for us
Our kids were in own so we took them out to eat. We sat on n the patio and it was wonderful. Our server was lovely and it was a great experience.
I tried the special of the evening and it was nothing short of delicious and flavorful. Another winner in my book for Bottega!
Awesome. People are very friendly!
To be honest, my wife and I reserved an outdoor table which they were unable to provide when we arrived. But no big deal, we were seated indoors within a few minutes of arrival and everything was lovely from that point on. Our server was simply terrific. Food was delicious and generous. We both took home leftovers! Will definitely be back again.
