My food was excellent. The service was good. The only reason for taking off a star is that one of us ordere different cheese on the salad and dressing and the waitress mised that up, and then she had to wait quite a long time for the corrected salad.
Never disappoints with great service, great food and great environment.
Excellent food and excellent service. I am definitely returning to try more from the menu!
i had my favorite dish, bucatini carbonara, and for the first time the bacon was fatty and very undercooked. i'll try again but this was disappointing.
Good food. Wish they offered a veal dish.
Comfortable, cozy and casual restaurant/bar, with great Italian food and irresistible pastries! This family-run bistro is great for a relaxed meal out, or for celebrating an occasion - birthdays, anniversaries, graduations. Prices are moderate, the staff is friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphere is awesome - day or night!
Appetizer was very good. The salads were very good. The Italian entrees of Gnocchi and Lasagna were very good. We took our six layer cake with mascarpone home for later. We were satisfied, are likely to return, and would recommend Michelangelo’s to friends.
Best happy hour ever! The food was excellent and the service outstanding. We will be back.
One of our favorites, food is outstanding and the staff are attentive and this is a go to place forever.
Went for a late birthday day for my husband and I. Our family loved the food!! Absolutely will go there again
This was the first time we had dinner at Bottega Michelangelo. We will definitely return for lunch, dinner and even the brunch.
Drinks, appetizer, main course and dessert were very delizioso!
We tried Bottega Michelangelo for our anniversary (noted on our Open Table reservation), and were hosted most cordially by staff.
Very nice since remodel. We swore to never go back when they went to that reduced, very limited menu a while back. Glad to have a very good restaurant return. Service is outstanding.
Great food, great wait staff!
The food is wonderful at Bottega Michelangelo. The gnocchi is wonderful - makes me think of my mother-in-law from Italy! I think I want to be on the patio for my next reservation as the noise level is pretty loud. Thank you
Delicious food. Great service. Busy bar. The decor is fresh, clean, and beautiful.
Another great experience at Bottega Michelangelo. Our party of 6 celebrated a birthday at Happy Hour. The food, again, was excellent!
The Baked Goat cheese is one of the best offerings. Will definitely return!!
All of the wait staff was excellent, but our waiter Tye really stood out, great service and recommendations.
This is the most wonderful place! Love the surroundings which were retained in dining room with the update. We had great service from Rochelle and others. The food was outstanding. I had vongole linguini, the rest of the table had differing dishes which they were quite pleased with. Had lovely wine. It's a bit noisy, but we had a great table in dining room. My birthday treat was a most delivious tiramisu. Not complaining at all.
Just a wonderful experience. Great bar scene and bar menu.
As always, our dinner was great. My cocktail was very enjoyable. My orecchiette pasta with sausage was wonderful.
We have eaten at this restaurant quite frequently this past month and everything as always been satisfying.
Hopefully will plan to come again in three weeks.
We were pleasantly surprised with Bottega Michelangelo. Food was good but not special. Our server was very attentive. Glad we were placed in the side room as the main room was very noisy. We will come back this fall when we can sit out on the patio which looked to be very inviting.
Overall satisfied with this place. Noise level killed it for us, though. I don't like a restaurant where you need to shout to the person across the table. For this reason it's unlikely we will return.
Food was excellent! Treated us well, and have no complaints
My wife and I came out for a date night for the first time in months since we had a baby, and enjoyed a wonderful dinner. This was our first visit, and we loved it.
First of all, the bread / balsamic vinegar / olive oil / fresh chopped garlic were amazing to start with even before we ordered our food. The bruschetta with burrata, avocado, roasted tomato, and balsamic syrup was my favorite, though my wife liked the one with ricotta and pesto better. I am a gnocchi addict, and loved their gnocchi with mozzarella here. It was a sizable portion as well. Wife ordered sword fish and it was grilled perfectly. I might have taken more than a bite or two of that fish because it was so good.
*Do Not Forget* to try the pistachio cannoli.
It was our first time there, but definitely not the last.
Delicious food and excellent service. A bit pricy.
One suggestion.......I ordered the Braciole which was very delicious but as an Italian who is well embedded in Italian and Sicilian cooking, I would rename it Pork Marsala.
I realize that there is not a big Italian population here in Tucson but one would expect rolled meat stuffed with seasoned bread crumbs, garlic, cheese or other things in red sauce.
We noticed that a patron who said he was Sicilian gave your Braciole one star. I believe it is because he was expecting something much different and much more traditional.
First time visiting since the remodel and sorry we waited so long. The food was excellent we started with the grilled octopus! The four of us all had different pasta dishes and all were excellent. Large portions so we're able to have leftovers for lunch the next day. The service was also excellent. "Saving" and Grace were both very attentive and were interactive and knowledge of the wine and food menu. The dessert was massive but oh so good Look forward to going back again soon.
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The meal was wonderful. We made a request for a quiet table and in spite of the very full noisy main seating area, we were seated in a side room that allowed us to converse and eat in an unhurried atmosphere. Love going back again and again.
We three elderly seniors enjoyed dinner the evening of Friday, August 23. The manager that evening went above and beyond to accommodate us, as did our waiter. We will continue to dine in Michelangelos' in the future, as we have have done for a long time.
Amazing again! Lasagna is to die for!
We celebrated dinner with another couple, close friends, who were also celebrating their anniversary.
My Aperol Spritzer, to start was wonderful. Had the Cavatelli Dinner special. Was, oh, so good, with fresh burrata on top. Complimentary desserts for both couples...great tiramasu!
The Pope's Pillow is another great dessert.
This is my favorite restaurant in Tucson at the moment!
First time here - very good experience and will definitely return. The atmosphere is lively, at least on this particular Saturday night. Best Italian food I have had since relocating to the Tucson area.
Our go to place. Well managed. Consistent quality, service and value
Great atmosphere, our appetizers and dinners were absolutely delicious. We were able to sit at a quiet booth so we could enjoy or visit with our friends.
Our anniversary/birthday celebration at Bottega Michelangelo was wonderful, in a large part due to our charming server Shaniece. She anticipated every need and we will ask for her in the future! My husband's entree of rigatoni in a gorgonzola cream sauce with chicken was excellent; my eggplant parmesan was just ok. And we LOVED our Caesar salads - cold, crispy romaine, generous white anchovies, large shavings of cheese, really good dressing and crunchy croutons. Thank you for the complimentary tiramisu! The other desserts looked fabulous as well. Can't wait to come back.
The service and food were equally terrific for the $$. The wood-fire oven adds to the ambiance. The place looks very modern and inviting at the same time-very nicely done. Keep up the good work!
The food is well prepared but it is entirely too noisy inside to enjoy. The waitstaff is brusque, probably because they're hustling.
The rose~ icee... Drink was no good tasted like I've 5 no flavor
Everyone in our party (six of us) were very happy with the food and service. Our waiter, Tye, was attentive without being a nuisance as can sometimes happen at some restaurants. I'm sure we will return.
Nice place, salads need work. Prices a bit high, good Italian Stand by!
