We hadn't been to Michelangelo for more than a year and were more than pleasantly surprised by the recent renovation. It's beautiful! Still the same great quality of food and service. The place was full and everyone was having a good time. Definitely one of our A-list restaurants when we winter in Tucson.
The food was good, but the menu did not explain the Italian terms, many of which we didn't know. Full explanations of what was offered would be helpful.
Time to receive our food was pretty slow, although the wait staff was fine. Might have been a kitchen problem.
Place is pretty noisy.
Very good service, attentive, quick and professional. Prices are very reasonable and the food variety and quality is top notch. The bread is very high quality, bruschetta is a highlight.
Would definitely recommend and will return.
Wonderful new (to us) addition to the Tucson dining scene. Don't know anything about its' previous incarnation, but it is just spectacular today. Wonderful wine list, though a little high. General menu very diversified. Service was attentive and flawless. It was just an excellent experience.
Very impressed with complete renovation if restaurant!
Great evening. Loved the new decor. Food fabulous as always.
The restaurant was not staffed for the level of business it was experiencing. The place has recently been remodeled. They took out fabric and half-walls thereby increasing the noise level so that conversation was impossible. One of our party found vegetable peelings under the spaghetti.
Love this place. Was here years ago and wanted to rekindle the memories. The food was as good as I remembered but we were put into a tiny room with a large group and the noise was intolerable. Too bad. I’ll be back but I’ll be careful about where I’m seated
Great food. Newly renovated and the place looks great. Very reasonably priced. Only complaint was the noise level. Very loud.
Our friend's group got together for two of our group's birthdays. We planned to try out the Happy Hour menu and were able to take advantage of the appetizer and drink specials courtesy of the staff who allowed us to do so even though we were not in the bar. The food was unique and delicious--the lamb pops, goat cheese, sliders, and pizza special yummy...and the two desserts great! We will be back again later this week for Happy Hour with friends visiting in town.
Your remodeling turned out beautiful. The atmosphere is much more inviting. Great seating area.
The Chicken Parmigiana was greasy. Other than that the meal was ok.
Our first time there. We were very impressed. Couldn't have been better. We will be back.
Very nice great dinner we sat out on the patio
Excellent food, service and ambiance. Parking lot could be improved.
Great food and great service.
Last visit 2 1/2 years ago. Remodel created bad, noisy acoustics - couldn't hear conversation at own table. Food portions half the size they were before remodel. Salad no longer part of buying dinner entrée. Food prices jumped considerably even though portions shrank and salad not included. Took out of town friends and was embarrassed we recommended it. Won't ever go there again. Much better Italian restaurants in area.
Wanted to try an Italian place and had never been here. My veal parmigiana was excellent , the pasta was a little dry, the sauce was a bit thick.
We were a small group but everyone liked what they ordered.
I will go back.
The renovation looks nice, but the noise level was so high that we had to almost shout to be heard across the table. Very disappointing. We probably won’t return.
I had the pork tenderloin with Marsala and mushrooms. I've had this before and it was amazing. My only negative comment would be that the pork tenderloin this time was overcooked. We ate at 5:30 so it shouldn't have been overcooked. It was dry and not enough sauce on it. The potatoes were barely warmed.
Always a nice place for lunch or dinner. Centrally located for everyone.
Great experience for moms weekend! The desert is amazing -
I was pleasantly surprised to see the beautiful new decor for Bottega Michelango. I loved the open feeling and all the glasswork. It gave me a feeling of being someplace very special. The service was excellent and all of our (4) food choices were delicious. I can't wait to go back soon!
Took my fiancé for Valentines Day and was very happy with the food and service! It looks newly remodeled and had a great atmosphere. Will be dining there again for sure!
By far the BEST Italian restaurant in Tucson! Wonderul atmosphere and great place to make a regular dining restaurant as my wife and I have!!! WE LOVE BOTTEGA MICHAELANGELO!!!!
In this city of Tucson there are many really good restaurants. This is certainly one of them. My wife and I had a wonderful dinner last night and we were both thoroughly impressed with the food and service. Got seated immediately and despite the moderate noise, we were able to talk to each other comfortably. I was extremely pleased with my chicken parm entree and my wife loved the salmon. The chocolate mousse cake was a perfect end to the meal. And the price was vey reasonable at just over $30 per person. Highly recommended!
The place ran like a well-oiled machine. Food came out quickly, drinks were never empty, and the waiter was friendly and efficient. The meal was great; everything from the cheese board to the veal and ahi tuna to the dessert! We will definitely keep it on our date night list.
Had a wonderful valentines dinner!
Great food, great service, the updated decor was well done also
Great authentic Italian food !
Huge improvement since the remodel. We hardly recognized the place! We'll be back. And, they were very busy on a Tuesday night.
We had a delightful meal and the service was excellent.
For a pre Valentine's day dinner I made reservations at this restaurant, while the food was very good, once we were seated it took 20 minutes and a complaint to the hostess for our waiter to arrive and ask us what we wanted to drink. The restaurant wasn't busy and we saw waiters standing around and talking.
Always enjoy the food here. The remodel of the restaurant provides an updated, modern feel.
I was very pleased with this overall experience. The decor was very bright and clean. The food was presented nicely and the service was great. Very glad to have a good Italian restaurant in the northwest side of town.
Very good food. Extensive menu. Very loud since remodel. Need to find a way to dampen the noise. Wait staff not very attentive. Seemed like they did not care if we dined there or not. Great flavors and choices on the menu.
Great Happy Hour! Can’t find a better value in Tucson!
The noise level was almost unbearable. Could not hear the person next to me. One of my quest had to remove his hearing aid because of the noise.
Food and service was excellent. A very nice outing.
Had a reservation for 3 at 7:15. We were seated after 7:30. Very crowded. Kitchen seemed overwhelmed. Food was excellent, but took over an hour from the time of ordering. Our party of three was provided a complimentary dessert sample in recognition of the delay. The food was great, just took a long time.
