   We had a wonderful night at Bottarga. We had some of the smaller snacks to start; the snapper/avocado/herring roe was just delicious as were the Wagyu croquettes and the potato bread. We then had an entree and main, the presentation and tastes of all of our choices was outstanding. We loved seeing the chef, Federico cooking in the open kitchen and Somi giving us her advice on their extensive wine list. The service is friendly and welcoming.

   The venue was cold. Then, due the misunderstanding between service staff and kitchen and the bill arrived before desert which was forgotten. When I reminded that we still have a desert….we got it but were told that 5min to finish because the next sitting already waiting. So because there was misunderstanding between internal staff, our dinner experience had to be cut short?! They apologized but….unfortunately it’s always will be on our minds before we return (if ever) to have another meal in Boterga.

   One word: AMAZING! We tried the Experience. The food was beautifully presented . The combination of flavours was mind blowing and tantalising for tastebuds. Every detail was thought of including the palate cleanser. The staff were attentive and we enjoyed every minute. This restaurant is a great addition not only to Brighton but to a whole of Melbourne! Thank you so much guys for an unforgettable culinary experience. We have been a few times but for sure will keep coming back!

   What can I say a restaurant with amazing food amazing service Bottarga is in a class of its own .. Have eaten there numerous times !!! Flavours just keep on coming with every meal !!!! Thank you Bottarga ♥️

   Overall delightful. The service is efficient and friendly and the ambiance is that of a local restaurant - it’s definitely worth visiting. The food is the hero. Each dish is a creation.

   Everything from food presentation to the taste was fantastic. The freshest ingredients and the combination of flavours to tantalise taste buds! Absolutely enjoyed it!

   Our experience at Bottarga was absolutely incredible. The food was the best I had in a while, especially the Toothfish. And I’m not usually a dessert lover, but we decided to do the 3 course menu and ordered the fig tart and the Negroni pannacotta… they were soooo delicious. Thanks for the beautiful night!

    Lovely evening at Bottarga on Valentine's Day. Superb food and good service despite being short-staffed on a very busy evening .
