Food and service was outstanding!
I was impressed. Great appetizers, and octopus was a fun and tasty dish. really good Pisco Sour too.
The service was horrible. The food was decent. To be more specific the waiter hardly checked on us. He delivered the two plates at different times. We could hardly understand him. He made mistakes with our order. We ordered desert and after 15 minutes we cancelled it. It was sorbet for Gods sake! I'll never go back. Atmosphere was really nice though.
Food was AMAZING, it was a bit noisy for my taste, but the server was friendly and knowledgeable about the restaurants products. Overall met my expectations.
Fantastic fusion food (Peruvian, Chinese & Japanese). I have never seen a menu quite like this one. The best way to enjoy is family style though so if you prefer not sharing, maybe order the sashimi or ceviche.
All of the dishes we shared were excellent as was our waiter Jimmy
NOISE LEVEL WAS TO HIGH-WINE SELECTION POOR -PRESENTATION OF PLATES NEEDS WORK
Very basic. You can get this food anywhere around town and save 50% of what it cost here. The aesthetic water they pour in the beginning was like drinking toilet water. We didn’t have a bad experience at all; we just felt they could do way better for the area and price.
Good service but I felt the prices were unreasonably high for the food. It ended up being a very expensive dinner which seemed casual at best.
We wanted to try a new place before attending the symphony and were looking for lighter options. Botika was suggested. We are grateful for the suggestion. Empanadas, potstickers and beets with goat cheese offered good variety, and all were well prepared (indeed, as a non-beet lover, I found the combo of flavors in this dish compelling). Our waiter was helpful with advice and attentive to the fact that we needed to be out to get to the Tobin. We hope to be back.
SERVICE was excellent, they were all quick to recover flying toys from our toddler’s! Food came out as it was prepared and water glasses were always full.
FOOD (signature dishes) are definitely geared towards the adult pallet, so you’ll have to get creative for the kiddos.
I loved the Beets w/goat cheese & quinoa, but the picky foodie in me would have wished they’d use fresh beets (instead of canned). Regardless, the dish is worth ordering!
Beautiful day to people... er... dog watch on the patio.
We brought our foodie friends from out of town on a Saturday night. We were able to grab a high top table in the front, which was a great spot from which to people watch. Our server suggested we select several plates to share, and we were glad we did. The grilled octopus was so tasty we ordered a second plate, and the wine and drinks recommended lived up to our expectations. It is a little pricy, but we expected that upfront, so not a shock.
Very good atmosphere and food! Our host (Jamie?) was very helpful with the menu and very attentive! Can’t wait to go back !!
Beautiful restaurant, great ambiance, the food was good, the serving was okay, a little noisy but overall a great experience.
The ceviche dish only had a few pieces of fish.
The lomo saltado was good except for the fries. The fries were burnt and look like frozen potatoes, not enough rice and without flavor or condiments.
The food and atmosphere were really fun! It is a great spot for dinner or happy hour. The combination of flavors was dynamic and creative.
This was a very fun and unique experience. We enjoyed sharing the food among the table. We look forward to coming back!
Disappointing from the start. Our server left mid meal, our drink order was messed up 3 times and our food was cold. Then I get an email from Open Table saying we didn’t show up. We have eaten at Botika many times before and always enjoyed it. Not sure what the issue was Saturday, but they were definitely off their A game.
Must try the ginger beer! Chicken was over cooked but food was good!
Very Courteous and relatable waiting staff. Of course, superb cuisine!!!
I like the food at Botika. It is fresh and well prepared. The service on this visit was terrible. At one point I was going to leave because of delayed service and errors in our orders. Fortunately the waiter acknowledged the problem and tried to address our concerns. I will come back because of the food
I'd been here before for dinner and it was great. Lunch, however, was run by the B team.
There seemed to be confusion from seating to service and even in the kitchen. There was no evidence that anyone was in charge.
After one diner's food was brought then we waited over 20 minutes for the rest, we got the "well we do family dining and bring it out as its ready" excuse after the fact - even though we were clear when we ordered that it should be together. The real reason it was late was the kitchen was confused and disorganized. They almost brought us our appetizer twice. The sad part was no one cared - not the wait staff nor the kitchen.
The crowning touch was watching the chef open a bag of food with his teeth. Maybe you shouldn't have an open kitchen (or maybe you should use a knife).
The food was good, but I'd definitely avoid this place for lunch.
Great food and modern ambiance in the very cool Pearl area.
Pot stickers arrived swimming in a pool of miso sauce, totally soggy, not crispy. The other meal arrived about 15 minutes later. Then, a while later, another order of pot stickers arrived as an "apology" for the long wait. The waitress's tongue ring made it hard to understand what she was saying. Very disappointing. I have eaten at Botika several times before but after this last experience may not return.
Botika never fails. It’s always a great experience with great food and great service. I recommend this place to everyone I know!
Really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The octopus was delicious!
Everything was great! We were seated down promptly, the waiter was awesome, and the food was great!
Great food as always!
Botika never disappoints food wise and the service is excellent. It does get a bit congested during dinner time and it's a little noisy for me but I just make a reservation for later and it's perfection. This time it was absolutely freezing but we must have been under a vent because I've never experienced that before.
This is possibly the best restaurant in the area, the Chef has put together a tasty menu, along with great customer service and a great bartender makes for a good experience.
Highly recommended!!!!! The steamed buns are a must!!!
It was wonderful! Beau was an excellent server. He was very attentive and cautious with my severe food allergies. The food was really good and they even brought us two glasses of champagne in celebration of our anniversary!
Interesting menu options. Great taste spectrum.
Attentive staff and excellent food. I wanted to give to the kitchen staff’s beer fund and so our waiter sent the floor manager to help me donate. Everyone is efficient and friendly. When the weather warms, we’ll enjoy the patio seating.
Restaurant week.. great way to experience a new restaurant to see if is the restaurant to add to your favorites. Interesting concept on prepared foods with serving.
We went for restaurant week. We have been there before just to dine so we kind of expected the same vibe and we sure got it. The only complaint I have is the “wahoo” was super dry. But overall a good experience again. Wait staff is fun ... their chef or the man whoever calls out the tables chewed his entire staff out publicly lol so it kind of gave you a Gordon Ramsey “hells kitchen” feel. We laughed and enjoyed it.
I recommend it.
Great food and cocktails. Our waiter knew the menu and was very helpful. We will definitely go back.
Great food and service! It's my favorite place at the Pearl Brewery.
