   Thanks so much to the wonderful team. We had mixed dietary needs and the kitchen was able to make everyone happy. The whole reason we try and support a fantastic local talented team. A wonderful night had by all. Thank you Perfection, Discretion, Elegence. Todd and team.

   One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Great ambience for any occasion. The octopus and scallops were cooked to perfection. The sablefish was the best I’ve had. The pork chop was cooked perfectly and very tender. The mousse so decadent and was a perfect size for sharing. It was the perfect place for our anniversary celebration.

   I had the tasting menu which was extremely expensive. The food was very professionally made using a variety of techniques for example, sun chokes served three ways, puréed, baked and crisped. The presentation was impeccable. Most of the food was excellent. I’d say some meals were not balanced and included flavours I did not enjoy. The marshmallow with the candy cap mushroom flavour was not to my taste. My guest ate my portion. The egg dish was superb. All in all it was a great experience. Not sure I had value for the price.

   Food was excellent as well as our server Brandon. However the restaurant is super noisy and very expensive parking in the hotel.

   My partner and I went for the tasting menu brunch. The service was good though a bit over the top. The tasting menu was a pick 3 and the options left a lot to be desired. Many of them were dinner dishes instead of creative breakfast or lunch options. The food was good but nothing incredible. Dessert on the other hand was exceptional.

   I love this restaurant as they never fail to impress. This is probably one of the best restaurants in Vancouver and we go there every chance we get. The chef produces works of art and flavours with each dish. The staff are also wonderful and knowledgeable. I can't say enough good things about The Botanist.

   I really enjoyed our brunch. I had no idea that it came with an included mimosa and cocktail and all courses were excellent. The mussels were perfection..

    Botanist exemplifies what a 5-star restaurant should be. Friendly service, excellent food, great ambience. We had the tasting menu. Each dish was prepared and presented amazingly. A special call out to our server Jaryd who was very personal and attentive. He even provided suggestions of things to do while in Vancouver. Definitely recommend visiting when in Vancouver.
