From the moment we arrived, the team went above and beyond to make the evening unforgettable. They kindly surprised us with a glass of champagne each and a thoughtful sweet treat at the end of our meal, making the celebration feel truly special. The food was absolutely amazing—every dish we ordered was beautifully presented and packed with flavour. From start to finish, everything was a flawless 10/10. The service was exceptional—warm, attentive, and professional without ever feeling intrusive. On top of all that, the restaurant itself is absolutely stunning—elegant, modern, and filled with beautiful design details that make the entire experience feel elevated. If you’re looking for a place where you’ll feel special, enjoy incredible food, and receive outstanding service, Botanist is a must-visit. Highly, highly recommend!

This place is amazing!! First off, our server Alyssa was incredible - knew everything about everything and was super nice and attentive. I ordered the Beekeeper cocktail and it was the best drink I’ve ever had, period. The food was outstanding and the dessert (a chocolate concoction) was out of this world. Next time I’m in Vancouver I’m absolutely going back.

An amazing meal at the Botanist, the food was really outstanding with a great scallop and tagliatelle appetizers to the beautifully cooked duck and sablefish. Some really unusual flavors in all the dishes and oh - the bread was locally baked and excellent. All around a really great dining experience.

Our entire celebration meal was excellent. We had a wonderful experience from the time we arrived to the time we left. Service, food and drinks were all delicious as we tried the chef's tasting menu. We're looking forward to our next meal at the Botanist.

Second time here and a very different experience. We were a party of 6 and they originally told us we were in a “private room” but it was a claustrophobic dark nook next to the bar. Fine for a couple but too small for 6. So we asked to move to the main dining area and were seated at a very large table, surrounded by noisy tables, so conversation was very difficult. The tables cleared in about 30 minutes and it got better. Fortunately the food was excellent and everyone enjoyed their meals. However the noise and ambience would make us think twice about coming back unfortunately.
