Amazing service but cold shrimp tacos and overcooked medium rare burger. Corey and Johnathan were incredible. Food needs improvement
Fantastic hidden gem 💎! Cozy social setting with beautiful view of courtyard. The staff took great care of us and were very knowledgeable, as well as great help with a food allergy. The food and flavors were over the top, perfectly prepared. Will definitely be going back ASAP!
Went for Happy Hour. Don’t. Just don’t. Music was spa music and it sounded like I was getting a massage. I politely asked bartender if he could change to some peppy/upbeat music and he said he asked the manager and “this is the best we have”. We finished our drinks and left! TERRIBLE VIBE. I so wanted to love this place since I live walking distance from them.
Won’t be back.
The food wasn’t good at dinner or by the pool. Very disappointing and had high hopes!
Hidden gem in Ft. Lauderdale. Great ambiance, service and a fantastic cocktail list.
Great food and service!
Food was phenomenal. Best meal we’ve had in South Florida in a while. If you’re a foodie, you’ll appreciate this restaurant. The decor is very well done and the flavors and cocktails are exquisite! Will definitely be back!
Right off the main drag of A1a, it’s a comfortable quiet spot for a nice meal in a newer Kimpton hotel. They always have a great vibe. An attentive and kind wait staff made it certainly a more enjoyable meal. While everyone has a brussels dish these days, there’s was a bit different for a change as they were served in a nice cream coconut and lime sauce. I would have like to seen the peanuts toasted a bit, but overall a nice dish. The watermelon and arugula salad was a big disappointment, there was hardly any watermelon, and what was there was mush. It needs a nice crisp. It was dressed with just olive oil it seems, no tang at all. My party had the burger, which was quite delicious served with hot crispy shoe string fries that were a hit. The dinner party features a whole fried snapper served as a taco kit with various accoutrements. The fish itself was delicious, substantial and had very little bones to pick through. The various sauces that accompanied were all flavorful and a nice addition as well as the mango salsa. The soft tortillas were unfortunately anything but soft, clearly not that fresh. For desert the botanic sundae is a scoop of fresh ice cream served over a delicious soft chocolate brownie that is just perfectly gooey. Overall a very nice visit, not rushing to return though.
The food needs some fine tuning, as does the quickness within which it come out - especially given we were one of only a small handful of tables. “Watermelon and Arugula Salad” had barely any watermelon in it and the watermelon was pickled - which needs to be stated on the menu, as we thought it had just gone bad. The guac was delicious but the serving size was too small for an app. The entrees were all delicious (curry fish, paparadelle). The berry
A gem of a restaurant, wonderful decor great service and delicious food. Get in here before everyone discovers how great it is. One of the best gluten-free pizzas I’ve ever had. And the cocktails were wonderful..
Server was very attentive and friendly. The Chef even came out to check on us. Ordered the following:
Butter lettuce salad - pretty good but the dressing is a little on the bland side (3/5)
Sweet corn salad - excellent (5/5)
Pappardelle with pork meatballs - average. Meatballs were extremely dense and small however plentiful. The entire dish was very close to room temperature (2/5)
Love pizza - excellent. Very heavy so be prepared (5/5)
Ricotta gnocchi - no bad. Needed salt, the creamy sauce overpowered everything. Also very heavy. (3/5)
Three scoops of sorbet - Variety of flavors were pretty good. They are a little small; three scoops is approximately 3/4 of a scoop anywhere else. (4/5)
Berry cobbler - average. Not sure if this was done on purpose but the berries were very tart, and not enough of the brown sugar crumb to compliment it. (3/5)
It was our second visit to the restaurant and our food was as good as the first time. The quality is consistent and the flavors are amazing. The chef even came out to greet us and discuss the diversity of the menu. We will definitely be going back to enjoy many more meals.
It was just ok. Nothing spectacular nothing terrible. Cost us $95 for two drinks, two apps, and one entree. It’s in a cute hotel that is in an converted two story apartment building located off the beach a bit west near the intracoastal. Dog friendly.
Beautiful decor overlooking the lush tropical plants amidst the swimming pool.
Great food, loved the gnocchi and the daily cheese platter with truffle honey
$10 to valet park
Less than Ordinary food for breakfast
Not for Locals but unknowing tourists might accept it.
Very nice hotel/entrance. The dining area was pretty- great view of pool- inviting bar. Some interesting craft cocktails on menu - tried the gin one, but exceptionally sweet. The menu offers a nice selection, albeit minimal. We tried the burger with duck fries that many have commented on, and yes, it's VERY good. The tuna sliders, pappardelle, and skirt steak were good. My only complaint would be the $10 valet charge.
Awesome, renovated, professional, great drinks and food, plus very swanky
Best place we ate in Fort Lauderdale
Each dish better than the last.
Gnocchi and snapper were fantastic.
If you haven’t eaten here yet you are missing out.
We will be going back before our vacation is over.
Went here for my birthday last night, was so wonderful!
Very quiet and relaxed for an evening dinner.
Loved the mushroom gnocchi !!! Best dish of the night.
Thankyou, for making my birthday special.
Great place, cozy
we eat next to the pool and it was nice.
Found this on open table and realized it was new. Decided to give it a try. Tried the fish ceviche appetizer. It was good. My bf had the flank steak and it was so good. I got the red snapper entree, it was good but I liked the steak better. We tried several drinks and they were all good
What a wonderful boutique restaurant. So happy to enjoy the atmosphere creative cuisine... Great service, great atmosphere, looking forward to going back
The food was amazing and the service was exceptional. We had the "love" pizza, Seared ahi tuna sliders, Pappardelle, Gnocchi and the Key lime crème Brule. All of it really tasty, well seasoned. Finally, the "Suy" (not sure of the name) cocktail was so crisp and refreshing
Really cool spot. Food was good. Decor had an LA vibe. Service was a little tentative but they’re new so that might explain it.
This is such a nice little place! We will DEFINITELY be back when we visit Fort Lauderdale again.
The host and our server and the food were-
All outstanding. EXCEPT
The seat height is too high for the table height.
Great food and service! Will come back again soon.
Food and service were amazing. Went for our anniversary and it was well worth it.
Really great food and delicious cocktails. Dishes were presented well too and the ambiance was cozy but upscale.
Absolutely love it here! This is my third time dining here and can’t wait to keep going back. Service is amazing and food is delicious
Awesome food, service, and mid-century design. We will be back!
The Brussel sprouts were to die for! If your looking for a refreshing cocktail try the pear one. Yummy!
Loved the decor! Very pleasant atmosphere.
Very expensive. Short menu. Nice location.
First, the food was delicious and the atmosphere is so cute. It reminded me of a Wes Anderson film. Off the main road so a lot of people may not find it. I would’ve given all 5/5 stars, but I had a little stomach issue. I was with my mom for Mother’s Day and we called the restaurant and they did get back to us after checking the labels - no one else was sick. So I must’ve been unlucky from somewhere on the trip. Definitely a good spot for date night or if you want to go off a1a and get away from the action.
Mothers Day Dinner
Beautiful decor. Food was great and staff was pleasant.
My friend and I have spent the last few days in Fort Lauderdale eating at various establishments from low priced to moderate. This restaurant, by far, had the absolute best service and high quality food. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable and the environment, just off the main drag, was perfect. I would highly recommend eating here!
Great new neighborhood dining in North Beach Village. Beautiful design and decor. Food was outstanding. Especially the Brussels sprouts, street corn salad, roasted chicken and flank steak. Key lime creme brûlée is out of this world.
