Loved the ox tail, potatas bravas, and charcuterie board with chorizo. Great Spanish wine. While many Spanish restaurants are wine and beer only, bota does cocktails as well. SF downtown pricing, but not high priced. I keep coming back, and recommend it!
Excellent food. Amazing presentation
Food was excellent and so was the service! Highly recommend.
This was a perfect dinner for 6 for my mother’s birthday. Food, drinks, service all great. More, it was a fun ambiance. Highly recommend, with perfect service: professional, attentive, with personality and not at all intrusive. We had a great time which is what going out is about!
Highly recommend for hosting business or family.
Had lunch at this place, we were the first customers in, so while I said the noise level was good, can't really say what it would be like with a full house. We had the garlic shrimp, the chicken cannoli, bacon-wrapped dates, and the brussel sprouts. All were excellent and we would both happily go there again!
The cocktails are delicious but the food lacks flavor. I wouldn’t go back.
Service is horrible, it’s obvious they want you in and out. Food was average at best. Too many better options in town to even consider this place.
Just delicious. Casually elegant, unfussy. Good service: we always had what we needed. I'll be back. A little more spendy than I expected, but worth it.
Food was very good and the pitcher of Sangria is an excellent value.
Food was outstanding, the drinks were good but not as outstanding as the food. Ox tail, grilled octopus, and paella are must gets!
Paella needed more flavor. If you don’t like a little spice, then it’s perfect. Server Jazmin was doing 2-3 things all at once and did great. Nice part of town, too.
Early dinner reservations on a Sunday night. Restaurant wasn't even half full. Ambiance was nice but temperature was super chilly. Food came our fast and quick. Ordered our pallela first as it does takes awhile to cook. Funny enough they didn't have any Coke. They had diet but not the regular leaded stuff. Th taps we ordered were very flavorful. What was disappointing was the pallela. It was needing salt just a dash as it was super bland even with all the yummy seafood that adorned it.
Food was delicious!! Margarita a little small
For the price but excellent quality!!!
Excellent service and delicious Spanish food. The paella was excellent!
Enjoyed the meatballs, garlic prawns and mussels.
Nice place , quiet, food was authentic and Sangria was very nice.
Enjoyed it and will repeat.
We’ll be back... amazing flavors... great value!
The space was cute and I liked the vibe. Table wasn’t ready at time of reservation. Ordered several tapas after we were seated. After an hour or waiting, only Brussels sprouts were served. I’d be more flexible if we ordered paella, but we didn’t. Brussels sprouts were good, but we chose to leave because of the wait. Server was nice enough to comp the Brussels sprouts and a cocktail.
Excellent paella with good choices for wine selection at reasonable prices. We would recommend this restaurant.
Great experience. We will go back.
We were absolutely blown away with every single thing we ordered. Didn’t try the Paella, but the Tapas we’re phenomenal. Shrimp, Pork, Chicken with bechamel, bacon wrapped figs. All to die for.
Good neighborhood spot.
Great service and delicious food, I recommend to stop by.
The service was atrocious. Our server checked on us one time during the meal. We couldn’t get our water refilled, napkins... I had to stand at the open air kitchen for 6 minutes staring at the poor cook waiting for someone to give me my check to pay... he eventually got a clerk from the HOTEL to ring me up. I was not given an itemized receipt to see what I was paying for but at that point I was just done. I’ve been here before in the service in food was excellent but after this past experience I would never be recommending this restaurant.
Lovely dishes and service
Slow uninformative service staff.
Food doesn’t come out in order.
With 6 tables they appeared to be overwhelmed.
Cold cuts come out after hot plates.
Way way too overpriced for the quality and portions.
Amazing tapas in a lovely atmosphere! The drinks were also on point and the service was professional and flawless.
Food was good, but sangria was aged sour. Major credit to the chef, server, host, busser, and bartender... he took care of everything for the restaurant during lunch. Ideally, there would be someone in front of house vs back of house for lunch, but really appreciated his professionalism and positive attitude.
It was a nice ambience. There were not enough servers in this area.
The would not let me in because of the pants I was wearing. I completely understand that, but then they let the next person in right after me and he was wearing the same type of pants.
The lady and the man who came out were uptight and the restaurant seemed to be the same.
We were looking for a tapas option on the way to Mendocino and this was the only place available on a Sunday afternoon. The reason it was available was that the food is really, really bad. The entire restaurant was being operated by one person who was doing the cooking and the serving and neither were up to the mark. The prawns were barely cooked and tasteless and the steamed mussels tasted of nothing. I'd strongly recommend not visiting this restaurant if you care about good food.
the service and food was outstanding!!
It was safe and clean, the food was delicious and the waitstaff were very kind and attentive!
Tapas and Paella were delicious, but Sangria could be better.
I’ve had paella in many states and counties and this was the worst I’ve ever had. It was awful. And the paella was $40! Very disappointed. Also have to eat on the street due to COVID and constantly had people walking by, some of whom were disruptive. Would not recommend.
Great food. Good service. Good covid-19 measures
great place - had the sangria and seafood paella..
Nice place to enjoy Tapas and Wine! Most likely will return and recommend.
The lunch was disappointing because they had a very limited menu and would not go to the trouble of providing things we asked for. Staff was also pretty disinterested, so the overall experience was not very good. Maybe it was the coronavirus fears but the place was virtually empty which suggests they could have gone to greater lengths to please their customers.
Great paella choices, lots of wonderful tapas, and the dessert menu was very enticing. Best of all, if you're doing a big birthday thing for someone, the servers are happy huddle with you and plot which dessert will have the most impact!
Great place, I will return to it.
