Located in the former Board of Trade Building. It served as one of Boston's "great gathering-points" and we continue that tradition as an amazing restaurant and bar. We have two floors offering a wide range of event possibilities. We are conveniently situated on the cusp of the Financial District.View Private Dining Details

Food and service were excellent!!!
Paté appetizer was a little surprising. It came out as a grilled “ hamburger “ thing. Still tasty, but not what I expected paté to be. Very spacious and nice atmosphere
Went for a business lunch with three others. Had a reservation for 11:30; started to fill up closer to Noon. Service was attentive. Had clam chowder which was very good and cobb salad which was fair. Others had lobster rolls which looked good and that people enjoyed.
Pretty much everyone agreed that they would return for drinks and lunch; maybe not a dinner destination.
Went for Sunday brunch. We got a table with a really cool view of State Street. I got the lobster benedict and it delicious. They have live music and a Bloody Mary bar. The server was awesome and the manager Jose was fantastic. GET THE SWEET POTATO BURBON GLAZED DONUTS.
I originally reserved a table for brunch downstairs by the band but didn't get that. We ended up at a table upstairs and the restaurant is so lovely so it was not a huge deal, just a bit down that we didn't get what we originally asked for. My friend called the morning of to reserve a bottle of champagne as a surprise for our table and they said they would do it first thing when we sat down. However, they never did and my friend had to go to the hostess and remind them so that was a bit out of our way. Other than that, food was amazing as always as well as the band!
We had a Great brunch there! The food was great( a little high in price but still yummy). Our server Cody was very attentive and friendly! The music started at 11am and was enjoyable! They had a really neat Bloody Mary bar that you can deck your bloody mar out!
Great food, quick service, the Bloody Mary bar is incredible and a great value.
Very underwhelming for a restaursnt with 4 star reviews on yelp. Food was not at the standard I was expecting and service left a bit to be desired. It is a cool place that would be fun for happy hour but if you are a foodie this is not the place for you.
I was in Boston for a business conference and my group of four people had a 8:45pm reservation on a Thursday night. When we were seated I noticed that the musical entertainment was taking a break and I honestly thought, “Great, live music.” However, when the music started back up it was so loud that we could literally not hear each other talk. Management said they would turn the volume down but I never noticed a difference. Otherwise, it was a great experience.
Very noisy when we walked in, but we were seated in the back so the noise level was better. Good music. Service was very good. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Food was delicious! I had scallops that were cooked to perfection. My husband had cod that was wonderful and the sides complimented perfectly. No room for dessert. Prices were competitive with other places we’ve eaten in Boston.
Great service and good food.
I would definitely go back and recommend it to others.
Excellent food, service and a great place for a gathering, date or dinner with family and friends.
Great food and great service.
Delicious Brunch and Great Service! Tried the lump crab hash and it was awesome!
This restaurant had top notch drinks and food! Everyone got something different and it was all amazing! We also were a half an hour late due to traffic and the staff was very accommodating. I would recommend this place to everyone in Boston!
Excellent! Thank you!
Has to be one of my favorite restaurants in Boston! #bestburgerintown
Great lunch spot!
Had a lovely Easter Brunch here - really nice menu, very reasonable pricing - my only complaint is the noise level - there was a singer/guitar player on that day and the volume was way too high for my taste -made conversation with my family difficult
Awesome experience, we had a reservation at 1000 buy showed up at 900 and they accommodated us. The food was excellent and the brunch drinks are tondie for!!
Very good food. Very creative dishes. It’s super loud so know that going in. Ok for kids and casual dress. Willing to accommodate food allergies. Would definitely return. Our server was really great.
Great location easily accessible from anywhere in the city on State Street. Ambiance of an authentic classic Boston restaurant/pub, with a creative & eclectic menu and Great Food. Friendly & attentive host, bar and wait staff. Perfect location for a quick business lunch or long visit with friends over a meal and/ or cocktails. 2nd floor features additional bar and dining area , great for quiet dining or private functions.
Do not get the Lobster Mac and Cheese or the crab dip with chips. The lobster was fresh, but they used the wrong combination of cheeses. Wasnt baked, just seemed like they microwaved the cheese over the pasta. Only good thing was the sweet potato doughnuts.
We had great service.
Absolutely incredible brunch service. Our waitress was fantastic, food was delicious and plenty of it. Worth every calorie and penny. Would highly recommend.
Went for dinner on a Saturday night. Ate upstairs at high tables near the bar. The noise level was very high as there was a good number of 20 somethings getting drinks at the bar. The food was excellent, I had the sirloin and my girlfriend had scallops and we both thought it was great
Busy night as St Patrick’s day but food and service didn’t suffer. Really had a lovely time. A great memory as we came here from the UK and it was our favourite nights in Boston.
We were so glad that we made a reservation because there was a huge crowd lined up outside. But the staff was great and whisked us right in. The place was crazy because of St. Patrick’s Day and that was the reason for the noise level. Our waiter was great! He had to squeeze in and out of people to get by but always had a smile on his face. He was very attentive! The French onion dip and homemade chips were awesome. My son got the charcuterie board and said it was delicious. Here is the not so great part, my husband and I both got the Lobster Roll sandwich, mine was hot and my husband’s was cold by design. It was not only the worst lobster roll I’ve ever had but it was one of the worst sandwiches I’ve ever had. Maybe an off night.
Awesome time at Bostonia on St. Patrick's Day!
We made a reservation for a late brunch for 8 people and received spectacular service, food and just generally had a great day celebrating there! The staff was attentive and fast with drinks and food, even though the place was absolutely slammed. I've dined here at least 5 times now and Bostonia has continuously delivered excellent experiences!
Good place for a good dinner
We came to Boston to celebrate my sons 16 birthday and went to Bostonia for brunch on a Sunday. All I can say is outstanding!! The service was remarkable and the food was so so good. I highly recommend the sweet potato doughnuts with bourbon glaze and the build your own Bloody Mary bar. I wish we were going to be here another weekend so we could go to brunch again!
Ate here a few times while staying nearby. There was something for everyone, including our vegan and gluten-free daughter. Everything was outstanding, and I'd happily return.
The place is really cool, good music although a little bit loud. There are TV's to watch ice hockey and basketball games. The pasta is really good, the burger is normal.
Great food, drinks, service and live music! The Bloody Mary bar was the best I've ever been to!
Went for the Bloody Mary bar. You could tell everything was sitting out for quite some time. Service was slow and poor. Bartender had to check with waitress about running a gift card. Lied and said they didn’t take them but when he swiped to try it, it worked. Had to call and get it reversed. Don’t bother at this establishment.
We brought my mother inlaw to Bostonia Public House for brunch. My mother inlaw was celebrating her 83rd birthday. We loved it! Ambience, live music, and delicious food and drink. Our waitress was amazing and she made this occasion very special. Excellent food- loved the sweet potato donuts to start. Had lobster Benedict and lobster frittata. Top notch all around. We will return.
Amazing, i would come back!
Great server Rachel - she was excellent!!
Food was excellent and the live music was a plus on a Sunday morning.
The lobster salad rolls were terrible. No flavor. The meat was cut into small pieces and it is very small portion. The hamburgers were overcooked even after sending one back. The Salmon was very good. We will not return.
