Food and service were awesome. Definitely met my expectations, since I booked a few days in advance. My entree wasn’t what I was expecting but was very good.
Rob was the best waiter I’ve ever had
The service was good. We loved the main dishes. The only negative thing was about the desert . When we saw the desert, we taught that somebody tasted it before it came to our table! The coffee was also cold. We felt ourself bad, but wanted to be changed the coffee and the desert. It was an unpleasant moment. The waitress was extremely nice. Overall, we really enjoyed being there. Thank you!
Our server Alex (“Alexandria”) was amazingly friendly and extremely helpful with the menu. My daughter left her phone and she was a track star giving it to us. She was light and communicative (great energy) yet extremely diligent.
We had many different items and not a single thing was less then phenomenal. The hot lobster roll was the most amazing sandwich!
This restaurant will be addictive no doubt! Will definitely be returning!
Great and delicious food, large portions, and a lot of variety.
Very good good food and service
The outside patio was not very welcoming the table was very wobbly. The waiter was kind but didn’t know the difference between two different types of wine. My 14 year old big son asked for just plain Mac m cheese and was brought out a small meal which came before everyone else’s meal. After reading the reviews I was expecting more from the experience.
We went here for Mother's Day brunch. The food selection was excellent. They also had a robust cocktail menu too. They have a large patio that is expanded into the street. We loved our street table; it made for excellent people watching while we ate. Everything we ordered was delicious. By Boston standards, the costs are reasonable. We will definitely go back!
We went in for Mother’s Day and were early. I had forgotten to tell the restaurant that my mother in law used a cane and couldn’t make it up the stairs. They sat us early and swapped our table to a space on the first floor without any issue. Our server was spectacular. We started with the to die for sweet potato waffle fries. My MIL has eggs Benedict, spouse had Gluten Free Steak Frites and I enjoyed the lobster Mac and cheese. Our mimosa’s were perfect. Finished off with a delicious gluten free chocolate torte to split. It was a perfect way to spend our Mother’s Day brunch. We will be back! Thank you to the team for an amazing meal and experience.
Took my mother there for Mother’s Day and had Justin as our bartender/server he was super attentive and made sure we wanted for nothing. Food didn’t take long to come out and was SOOOOOOO good! Both managers Jose and Norman came by more than once to make sure everything was satisfactory. Will definitely be going there again.
Service and food are amazing!! We always come whenever we’re in Boston. One of our fave places!!
slightly disappointed for a restaurant with such a high rating and excellent reviews. food was good, not great. Atmosphere was loud and not suited for a relaxing night out. Wouldn't go back, would try something different next time I am in Boston
Had wonderful experience with food, service and décor. Loved it.
Sierra is the best server! Ask for her when you come!! Great drinks and food! Def coming back
Food was excellent. Drinks were phenomenal. Definitely more on the $$$ side but I thought it was worth the money spent.
Outside on a chilly say for brunch
Get the lobster roll!
Very nice restaurant. Food was excellent especially true green chili pork queso dip was delicious. Just had appetizers but was also very good.
Staff is always excellent. Drinks were fabulous! They updated the Boston Mayor wall. My only complaint was that the air conditioning was on (on May 2nd) and it was colder inside than outside. Other than that it was excellent. Would definitely come back.
Great service, great food
Joe P was our server and he was absolutely fantastic!! This was my second time at Bostonia and Joe P has rocked it each time! He recommended the hot girl summer and it was so good! I really hope they make it a regular menu item because it’s the perfect summer drink!! 10/10 recommend especially if you have Joe P as your server!!
Visiting Boston for a few days, ate at Bostonia on Monday night, ate at a couple of good restaurants on Tuesday and Wednesday, but went back to Bostonia for our last night on Thursday. Very good choice.
Everything was great.
The best spot in downtown Boston for lunch and after work drinks. Consistently crushes it in all categories
Had such a great experience! The staff was very friendly and attentive. My server was super helpful with finding me the perfect beer. The clam chowder is outstanding, and you have to try it with hot sauce! I was definitely unsure about it, but my server recommended it and WOW! Did not disappoint. The lobster roll was also super good and had a lot of flavor, and at a decent price. Even the side salad was tasty! Overall this is a really cool spot with GREAT food, and I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Boston!
It was my first time at Bostonian Public house and it was absolutely phenomenal. The customer service was great also environment was very welcoming. I believe our waitress was Emily and she was phenomenal.
I ordered the warm lobster roll. It was tasty but I was expecting more lobster in the small roll than it was given.
This place had good brunch food, but absolutely not worth the price. My iced coffee was $8 which I did not know about until the check came. Egg sandwich on a croissant was $17 and not great quality. Definitely not worth coming again.
Everything was fantastic! The seared salmon and cheesecake were delicious and our server, Emily, made fantastic drinks. We had amazing service and overall a wonderful night. Will absolutely recommend to my friends.
First city dining experience since the pandemic. They did a great job setting up the restaurant and worked hard to keep people comfortable. We were never rushed, received great server recommendations and had a terrific meal.
Service was excellent! Enjoyed our evening and it was nice not to be rushed.
This was our first experience at Bostonian Public House and it definitely won’t be our last! From the beautiful decor, attentive service and mind blowing food, this was the perfect spot for a date! The drinks were excellent, not too strong but didn’t slack on the pour. The Ghost Malone was incredible and the bartender new how to shake it up! Would totally recommend if you’re in the city!
They were hanging
Had friends in for the day and wanted to take them somewhere close to my home that is classic Boston dining. The lobster rolls were excellent. Both the Hot and cold The noise level was extremely loud today. We usually sit upstairs and don’t experience the noise level that the downstairs has. The service was excellent I wish I could remember the waitresses name. She was great. Overall my friends enjoyed it but were glad to go back to my condo so we could talk without screaming.
Everyone in my family was happy, hard to accomplish!!
Jess was awesome, will definitely be back!
Excellent service and the build your own bloody mary board was AMAZING!!
