I came here yesterday with some friends for my 21st birthday and it was such a cute area and everything about it was great: the food, the service, the prices, the look, all 10/10s!
Server and atmosphere great. Very clean. Found portions very small. Ordered off brunch menu. Two very tiny fish tacos. The flavor was amazing just very small.
Service was phenomenal. Food was great, atmosphere was a bit tourist focused but still very nice.
Sat at an outside table for a Sunday brunch. Service and food was outstanding.
We made reservations online and were seated immediately, which avoided a forty five minute wait. Recommended!
We made reservations because we heard it was popular. Got seated right on time. They had a seasonal Bleu cheese wedge salad that was good. My wife had the seasonal squash dish which was excellent. I had one of the most amazing burgers that I've ever eaten in a restaurant. Worth every penny. We actually changed our plans so that we could go back the next night.
We did dinner. Our party decided to get two of the same burgers and they were cooked so differently it seemed like two different burgers. One was overcooked and bland. The fried portions are way too small. The drinks were GREAT. Overall the salt content was pretty low thag the flavors were bland
Very loud inside, sat outside which was a nice setup. Service was quick, food was alright.
Sweet potato waffle fries ( duckfat) were delicious as were sweet potato do uts with dipping sauce. Staff friendly & very efficient - would definitely return!
BPH Ultimate Burger 🍔... BEST BURGER IN TOWN
We returned last night after having been at the restaurant two days before for lunch because the clam chowder was so good. We were not disappointed. Our crab and lobster entrees were excellent as was the service. Great place for lunch or dinner with good prices!
We ate outside. Food was great. Service was great although we had to ask for spoons every time they brought the soup which was pretty funny. Would definitely eat there again.
The blackened salmon was done perfectly. Our waiter suggested getting the beet risotto instead of the quinoa that was listed. The risotto was so creamy and had a wonderful flavor.
We met friends that were visiting from out of town. The sat at bar while we were parking. Great drinks at bar. We dined upstairs. Service was fast. Food was pretty good. I had lobster Mac and cheese which surprisingly our toddler loved. My husband enjoyed his chicken sandwich. I had a cod with crab on top. Together the seafood was great. Rice was not good.
Our appetizer and meals were both delicious and our server was extremely polite and well-versed and we enjoyed our dining experience
For starters, the french onion dip was tasty but surprisingly sweet. The tuna crudo would have been better if the tuna were diced rather than sliced. (It's a texture thing.) The hot lobster roll was really excellent. The mac & cheese side was a bit bland. Quieter upstairs than down, although even the upstairs got noisier as the night wore on (and two large parties arrived). Would go back.
We had a wonderful lunch/early dinner with my daughter who just moved into college in Boston. The food was great and very timely and our waitress was very responsive. I felt the cost was also reasonable for Boston. We also were able to walk there right from our hotel and lots of things to explore in the area. We loved it and my espresso martini was delicious!!!!
We had a great anniversary dinner at Bostonia! The food was great (the tater tot poutine, oysters, and burger were delicious!), we had attentive service, and we ate outside, which had nice ambiance at night. They even brought us prosecco on the house to celebrate - it was a lovely surprise!
It was very good. Loved our waitress. We sat outside and I'm glad we did inside was pretty noisy and a little chilly
Awesome service and food. Would definitely be back.
Waiter was awesome, the food was pretty good and portion sizes for the price.
We went to see if there was a table available and told that there was a wait of 45-1 hour. We asked if that included outside and was told it was. Standing outside waiting I decided to go to Opentable to look at available times and saw multiple openings including one in 5 minutes which I reserved. I went back in and the hostess was definitely annoyed. Should have been a sign. Anyway we were seated outside and waited for a server. When one finally came over we said we are ready to order food and drinks to which they replied they needed a pen. The waiting ensued. Honestly should have been a sign. We started with shrimp cocktail which was fresh and tasty and both got the fish tacos. Which unfortunately not good. My first bite was extremely chewy and almost couldn’t swallow the bite. My husband thought his was fishy. The French fries were good though. Not sure why soo many people recommend. Would not be back.
We made a reservation for 9:30 on Sunday, were seated quickly as soon as they opened, and put our order in. 30 minutes later, we noticed other diners that had been seated at the same time as we were finishing their food and asked the waitress if ours was on the way, because we had a flight to catch.
She said she'd check, and we noticed her punching in the order on the computer, though she didn't actually circle back to tell us what was going on. We were quickly running out of time and ordered an uber as a backstop to make sure we got to the airport on time. No word from the waitress. Another 15 minutes later, she brought our food out as we were packing up to leave and the Uber was arriving outside. We notified the hostess what had happened and, I assume, the waitress brought $60 worth of food back into the kitchen and threw it out.
The food looked good, but this was a stunningly disappointing experience. I'd been here before several times and would hesitate to go again because of this.
Long wait for mediocre food. Asked for an appetizer gluten free and it came out with bread on it. Waiter was great though.
Prompt service. Very tasty appetizers and entrees.
Excellent service and food! We went for brunch and it was wonderful ! The food was perfectly prepared
, cocktails were lovely and the service was prompt but not rushed.
Love the restaurant. Love the food. Made the reservation a month in advance and when I showed up they could not accommodate me. I asked for a bar area, and was told that any party over 4 can not sit in the bar area, but as they walked us to our table we passed one table with six people another with eight. The hostess admitted that they accidentally started to sit people before taking care of reservations and then the manager got involved and told me our party of 5 was too big for a high top. I said That for someone who’s made this reservation over a month ago, there’s no reason for this. The manager lied to us and I told him that lying isn’t great for business- just tell me the truth, your hostess already spilled the beans that you over sat walk ins and now can’t accommodate those of us that made reservations. I’m very easy to please person so I was just grateful to get a table, but that was NOT a great situation to walk into to start off our meal.
Our server was amazing and the food was delicious! We had several great cocktails and were very impressed overall. I would recommend this place and return again!
The food was delicious probably my favorite restaurant over the weekend I was there
Delicious food! Nice outdoor area but is somewhat noisy (it is right downtown though!)
We loved this restaurant so much we canceled a reservation to another restaurant to go back on our last night. It was our favorite restaurant in Boston. The hot Lobster Roll was the best. It was also nice to have it priced rather than most other restaurants listed it as Market Price. We dined inside one night and outside on the other and were happy with both. Our server suggested the sweet potato doughnuts and they were nice as well. I thought I would only have two but I did decide to have half because they were indeed that good and recommend. Matt was a great server.
Service was good and fast. Food was just ok for the price
My second time here & again I had an amazing experience! Our waitress was astounding & so sweet to speak with. This time we came for my sister in laws birthday brunch & she fell in love with this place! The drinks are strong but so good so the is fairly reasonable. The food was amazing & I have no complaints!
We went with friends for supper. The blackened salmon was wonderful. My girlfriend said the margarita was very tasty. And the nightlife flowing into the bar next door made for some interesting sights.
Great spot for brunch! Amazing Bloody Mary and the Bro-Mosa is bomb! A lot of great brunch cocktails to chose from and great food! Nice relaxed, fun vibe!
Our server Rob was fantastic!!!
Great brunch spot! Fantastic food great service…..
Great food, a little pricey.
We also waited quite a while for the food.
