Loved the ambiance, food over all was good, just had some allergic reaction to my cocktail, so I couldn’t enjoy my dinner too much, sadly.
The food was good, as usual, but it took exceptionally long for the food to be served (and then they made a mistake on one of the orders). Maybe they were short staffed?
The only thing negative is that their taps were down, so I couldn't order a beer. The food was good, though.
Fun, last minute meal. Great service but they were out of a few things and had to close early.
Great food for the price. Nice outdoor dining and very family friendly.
Wayyyyy to loud for a business lunch. One person at the table asked for a menu and they did not hace them
Delish food and outstanding service!
Servers are terrible. Lots of attitude. Wont clear table. Salty food oceepriced and overrated lobster rolls
Went there for a birthday brunch. Food and service was excellent. Will definitely go back.
Great food! Nice atmosphere! The salt and pepper wings and the sweet potato donuts were yummmyy!!
Somewhat pricy....extremely loud crowd and tight seating. Would not go back.
Though food was excellent.
Get the burger with lobster! It was absolutely incredible and I’m going to crave it forever now. So darn good!
Wait staff was not attentive. Had to flag him down to order, to get more water, to get the check. Flat soda was served, and I sent it back, but it wasn't taken off the bill. Medium burger was served rare.
Great service and good food.
Loved the meal! Very busy place and great service!
The food was good but it was SO LOUD at 6pm on a weekday from the happy hour crowd. We literally couldn’t hear each other talking at our own table. Would not recommend for dinner, for this reason.
Service was great and so was food. Seated upstairs where cold air was blowing and several seats were right under the speakers. With noisy “neighbors”, we asked to move tables and they were more than accommodating. Great meal.
Great place for couples, families, groups, etc. The Bostonia Public House is upbeat, lively and the food is amazing. Would highly recommend!
Stopped for lunch with friends. Checked out the menu in advance, as we all have specific meal requests (gluten free, vegetarian, etc) It was great! We all had different types of meals and they we great! The only disappointment was too much dressing on the salads, but we should have asked for it on the side. Cocktails were good too!!
Loved the make it yourself bloody mary!!
They opened later than 9am after repeated texts telling us to be there for our 9am reso. My food sat so long in the window the soft boiled eggs on my $18.00 eggs Benedict hardened. Server never came back to check on us until she dropped the bill. My kid had two breakfast tacos for $12.00. The manager/guy hostess acted as though we were doing him a favor eating there. The poutine was delicious and the only reason the restaurant got any stars.
A little loud, but fine upstairs. Great mixed drinks, love the pork ribs and the wings. The ultimate burger was great, and the fries were hot and crispy. Food was fast and service great for our party of 5!
As always, the Bostonia delivers!! Fabulous cuisine, attentive wait staff and a warm welcome! 10 STARS always!! Fantastic for an individual on a KETO lifestyle, too!!
Incredibly loud. Could not hear dinner companions at all, or waiter, or hostess.
Maybe the name "Public House" should have tipped me off. This restaurant was SO NOISY! Our iPhone decibel meters read "92, LOUD. Repeated, long-term exposure to sounds at this level can damage your hearing." At dinner time on a weeknight, piano was playing and the packed bar was full of loud patrons. Not a good place to enjoy dinner with your friends if you actually want to talk to them. I asked if there was a more quiet area and was told no. Our food was fine, but we ordered the check with dinner, ate quickly and left.
Great service. Got my grass fed NY sirloin black and blue. Made my anniversary Great and especially my wife super happy.
Really tasty menu with a Boston vibe. Especially liked the lobster Mac-n-cheese and the cod. Short staffed like everyone right now.
We were visiting Boston for the first time and were looking for someplace close to our hotel. We were a little nervous upon first entering the restaurant because it was a bit loud and the crowd was pretty lively for a late afternoon.
However, our server was super friendly and attentive. The real surprise was how good the food was. I ordered the Steak Frites and it was cooked to perfection. This is quite often my go-to order when I travel, and the Bostonia’s dish is now on the top of my list. My wife and daughter also really enjoyed their meals, as well. Highly recommend, especially for the weary traveler.
Very good food and allergen-sensitive menu. Service was great, and outdoor patio was perfect.
The outdoor dining was great. The ambiance was good and super convenient to the harbor. The food was a bit salty however and the salad was wilted.
Food is pretty good, but service was really great and they got every detail right
Terrible food. Good service & atmosphere.
reservation was made in advance, arrived on time and could not be seated for 20 minutes because the table was not done. Poor excuse. We only had 6 people. Still the food is good. Waiter was great. We had to be out in a short time so he pushed our order up and we made it to our next appointment with minutes to spare.
Service was ok- we had to wait very long for food and drinks. Gave one our meals to another table and then waited for a long time for it. Also charged double on some meals.
Everything was great for brunch, but somehow they ran out of cold brew by 11am? On a Saturday? During brunch? I’d understand if it was 1pm or 3pm but not just as the restaurant is opening on a Saturday for brunch…
This is a fun new restaurant that offers unique plates. I had the warm lobster roll which was average for Boston. Others at the table were more innovative and selected unusual meals that were all good. The meatballs for appetizer were fantastic and we would have never order these but too many people at the location suggested them. They were truly exceptional. Drinks ok but expensive.
Our server, Joe, was the best!!! So funny and came through with the best recommendations. Food was delicious! Got the wings to start, lobster roll and fish and chips, and the sweet potato donuts for dessert. It got loud around 10:30pm with live music - but we loved it!! Definitely come and ask for Joe.
