There were only high bar style table settings in the dining area which made it difficult for my wife to sit comfortably while dining, the food was just o.k. and the only highlight was our server was nice and attentive.
Had appetizers and drinks then lobster rolls, grilled chicken sandwich and loaded hot dog from the 3-5pm menu.
Excellent service. Food came quickly. Everything tasted great. Highly recommended
This is a good restaurant with decent food. I had risotto and it was good. Everyone else enjoyed their entrees. Service was acceptable. One thing to note: it is extremely loud.
Delicious! Lobster Mac and cheese was amazing.
Decent food, comfy, good location. My burger was perfectly up to scratch.
I'm not even a big fan of mac and cheese, but the lobster mac and cheese was a MUST order. Would definitely come back!
Great service, food was awesome, and live music during Sunday brunch was great for the mood
Loved the food, service and location! Too noisy in a Friday night for any meaningful conversation.
Brunch was delicious! We all got entrees and drinks for $40 each, so pretty well priced for what you’re getting. Sitting outside was very nice. Service was slow at times but overall I’ll definitely be back for brunch.
Would absolutely recommend, staff was very quick and attentive and the food was excellent.
Love the gluten free options here! Everything is clearly marked on the menu. I had the chicken sandwich with fog jam on gluten free bread. I have been here several times and love coming back!
Beautiful place and nice meal but. Too much noise, it’s imposible to have a conversation.
Overrated, noisy, pricy and microwaved food.
Quite loud for a Sunday evening.
The experience was good, but... We went for Restaurant Week and we enjoyed the Dessert and the appetizer more than the entrees.
We got the clam chowder, which had a smokey salty taste due to the bacon. It was good, but different from most New England clam chowders. The Burrata Salad was great. It was like a combination of a deconstructed Bruschetta and a capresa salad. Dessert was a raspberry tiramisu and sweet potato donuts. Also delicious. For entree we tried the pork chop and the chicken. It as fine, nothing to really talk about. I think there are a lot of other places where the food is better and the price is as well.
Food was bland. Service was good. Really loud on a Saturday night.
Food was great, had Restaurant Week menu which can sometime be not the best , but loved all the items we ordered , very flavorful and well presented . We saw an amazing looking cheese and meat board at table next to us as well. Would be great place for drinks and apps or dinner. Has music as well good for group or friends .
The food just wasn’t that good. I can go somewhere else, spend the same amount and get a much better meal. I will say, the doughnuts were very good but the main entree was marginal at best.
Food and service were good. It was annoyingly loud.
Great place to go for brunch. They often have live music and it’s usually really good. The food is good and they have great drinks.
Great spot for amazing food and creative cocktail. For a big splurge get the seafood platter and share with a few friends. Love this place for special occasions. The pappardelle pasta with the lamb ragu is outstanding!
Everything was great! Love the kids and young adult menu!
Specially the kind of drinks collection they have and food is delicious
Such an awesome little place and a great little town!
Girl at front desk said would we like to sit in or out, we said out, we followed her to the table...it was in!! We just sat there but thought how can ‘out’ sound like ‘in’!! The food was mixed. Had a shared starter which we hadn’t finished when the rest of our food came out. Waitress just took our starter didn’t even ask if we had finished. One of us ordered one main dish and the other two small starter dishes. A pity they came out at the same time. Peppered chicken wings were too peppery, so left most of the plate. Meatballs were delicious, burger okay.
Awesome Boston experience. Let the staff guide you in the food choices; you will not be disappointed. Try the sweet potatoes doughnut desert!
We had a problem with one of the meals not being what my friend ordered. The food runner brought it back to the kitchen but never alerted the server. When the server did check in on us, my friend had already been waiting a bit so it was a while before her corrected order came out.
Brunch was delicious. The potato donuts sound weird but unbelievably good. Potato makes for a sweet and savory filling for fresh hot donuts swimming in frosting. The kind of dish you remember and want to go back for. Main dishes of a frittata and egg hash were also filling and delicious. Neither my wife nor I were hungry all day after brunch. Service was ok. Had to ask for coffee refill and sugar. Live music is a nice touch and singer was good. Too bad he’s stuck in a narrow space and 3/4 of customers can’t see him. Setting is great in a new space that feels like it’s been there forever. Bathroom situation not my favorite. No gender designation and too few for such a large restaurant. Makes for a great brunch with a side of Awkward.
Excellent food, fantastic service, great drinks. Can't ask for anything more.
Our waitress was super! We were celebrating a sweet 16 and she made it fun and brought over a complimentary dessert with a candle. Location was great!
Food was mediocre, especially for the prices. The chicken dinner was dry and unremarkable, but the farro and mushroom it came with was excellent. Unfortunately, all three of my friends had an upset stomach through the following day.
Really comfortable atmosphere! Great service! Definitely a spot to revisit!
It was really enjoyable, lobster roll was on point. Would for sure done there again.
I would like the ability to book a 12:00 pm reservation online.
First night in Boston. We celebrated our youngest 21st birthday. It was a great experience.
Excellent lobster mac and cheese. Great lobster roll. The donuts for dessert are a favorite. Will be back again.
They got us a table were very accommodating for our toddler and we got seated where we requested. And everything was on time we love this place and will definitely reserve a table again
We went early before a Sat event (5 pm seating), so it wasn't crowded. Our waiter was friendly, attentive, and helpful, and the kitchen reworked my meal to accommodate my having misread the menu, which was much appreciated. Everything was delicious, service was prompt. We both loved the Brussels sprouts; my husband enjoyed his classic lobster roll; my salmon was perfectly done.
It was my first time at Bostonia Public House and I am very impressed. The food was outstanding. I had risotto and it was amazing. The service was fast and the staff was very nice.
The donuts were amazing! Good serving staff and great ambience.
