Fantastic service and food. Little pricey, music a little loud. But overall very delicious and enjoyable
What a great night out! We ordered shellfish for starters, my boyfriend enjoyed his oysters and the mussels I ordered were the best I'd ever had, big and plump and in delectable, buttery broth! Our entrees were great too, the lamb in my sugo was very tender. We weren't planning to get dessert, but the cremaux looked so good we had to get it, and enjoyed every bite of that dish! The service was attentive, and the atmosphere was beautiful, and aside from one table having a somewhat loud birthday celebration, it wasn't too noisy.
Incredible atmosphere, wonderful service and amazing food/drinks. The fountain of youth cocktail and chocolate cremeux dessert are especially great. An absolutely outstanding dining experience.
We went in to eat dinner at 4:20pm and was told by the hostess there were no available tables despite the restaurant being half empty. She said she could get us a table at 5:45. So we left...outside in the cold, I went to their website on my phone....and inexplicably, I was able to make a reservation for 4:30. As it was 4:25, we headed back inside. Unfortunately, the hostess that couldn't help us waant at the front when we returned, but we were seated immediately. My wife, my son and I all had the cheeseburger, which was amazing. The French onion dip and kettle chips was outstanding. I would've given 5 stars, had it not been for the way we were treated when we initially tried to eat here.
Joe was excellent t
Good food but way overpriced. Dessert was not great, but main course was tasty. Sangria was delicious. Good drink selection.
Excellent staff, overpriced menu and ridiculously priced wine. $18 for a glass of Carr Cabernet!! Very loud too.
Great food. A little loud at times. Waiter was great and assisted will allergies
Loved the atmosphere, drinks, and the live piano! The cheese platter was delicious, although we would have appreciated if someone told us a little about what the cheeses and spreads were. My two friends had salads and they both were very happy. I got the mussels and they were not good. I had only a few and then had them taken away... I felt as though they should have been taken off the bill or I should have been offered something else since I clearly did not eat them, but they just took them away and didn’t even ask if everything was okay with them. Besides that, this place seemed great and I would probably come back again.
They went above and beyond during our visit. The food was really good as well as the donuts for dessert.
I was in from out of town and had a lunch meeting here. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The $19 pre-fix lunch menu is appealing had a variety and portion sizes were good. However, our food was not that great. The iced tea had a strange taste, they were out of diet coke, my salad was bland and I'm fairly certain my shrimp was under-cooked which caused me to avoid them all together. Our waiter was hard to track down. If back in Boston, I would not go again.
We were running late which I did not realize and I understand that at the time. For that reason I understand the inconvenience. However, the hostess was so very obviously annoyed with us and extremely rude. I have worked in the service industry for almost ten years and I can understand how frustrating things can be. However, as the first person people are meeting in the establishment, I would expect nothing but courtesy. I frequently come to Bostonia and am constantly raving about the food and environment. This is my first time experiencing anything like this here but I was very disappointed in how things were handled.
Food was great, our server was also great; attentive, but willing to leave our large group plenty of catch up time. A difficult balance! The live music at brunch was great, but it would be better if they could tone the volume down so diners can talk without yelling - at least on the first floor.
We are here visiting from Los Angeles and wanted a place that had a local vibe to it. We found it here at Bostonia Public House.
We were seated earlier then our reservation time which was appreciated.
Our service was friendly and courteous.
We ordered the Bloody Mary which was fun to build at the build your own Bloody Mary bar. Tuna Crudo, oysters, pancakes and eggs. Everything was perfectly cooked and great taste.
We would definitely recommend this place for meals and or drinks.
Great food and service! Accommodations were made for special requests/allergies with a big smile and no issues.
Ask for Rob! Excellent server.
The food was delicious with even better service. Abby was extremely friendly and attentive to our table. I would come back to see her again! Great experience overall.
Loved this place! Came here for brunch with a friend; the food was delicious and the bloody Mary bar was unreal. Prices are pretty reasonable, especially for the quality of food and overall ambiance. I will definitely be coming back!
Best build your own bloody mary. Great service - very attentive. Live music (woman playing the piano and singing).
Joe our server was amazing!
Great service and good food
We had a great server that made really good recommendations. The food was flavorful and the portions were generous.
Included info in reservation regarding a member of our party celebrating a birthday. Not acknowledged.
Made reservations for super bowl. No table available accessible for high chair also was placed directly behind a TV. We spent a total of $600 the past 2 days so it was unfortunate that they weren’t able to accommodate us any better
even though the lobster benedict was no longer own the menu, they were willing to make it for our party. The bloody mary's were a little too salty for my taste.
The waitress staff was excellent - very friendly and helpful
Cozy spot for dinner pre-concert at the Garden. The drinks were delicious and the food was pretty great. We got the French onion dip (a must get!) with home made chips, I got the lobster roll, which was on the smaller size for the price, but it is the financial district in Boston, overall delicious though. If you do come here for dinner, do yourself a favor and get the sweet potato donuts! DELICIOUS! Our waitress was attentive and gave us time to have drinks and apps before dinner and dessert. Walkable to the Garden.
Good reliable food and drink, lively crowd, comfortable albeit loud at times. Have always enjoyed my visits
Just lunch and i was back in the office with time to spare. Wonderful service
Everything was great, food was delicious. Cooked exactly how we asked. Excellent service. I was disappointed in the limited lunch menu for a Saturday
Food and service was great, but bartender/waiter took forever to get us our check at the end.
Love it here ! My boyfriend and I always come here for brunch. The food is amazing and love the live music . One of my favorite brunch places in Boston .
The Bloody Mary bar is the best out there. Our waiter Rob was also great
My husband and I came here for brunch and everything was fantastic! We really enjoyed our high-top seating by the window and really like the live (but subtle) singer and guitarist. The whole ambiance was really nice. Our server was on top of everything - checking in regularly but not overbearing.
For drinks we ordered the Bloody Mary (good, but my husband usually prefers it spicier), the Sweat It Out (which was spicy), and the Whiplash (gin + prosecco combo). All drinks were great and comparably priced with everything else in the area. Decent coffee as well!
For food we ordered the crab cakes benedict (most expensive brunch item, but they were AMAZING!) and the pancakes (fluffy, good, standard pancakes).
Overall we just had a really pleasant time there and enjoyed our breakfast. We would definitely go back.
Awesome place! Good brunch, great live music.
The food and drinks were amazing! The live singer that performs on Sundays is incredible!
Food was good . I had scallops, were prepared well. We also had a salad with shrimps.
They forgot the dressing so had to ask for it.
Bit pricey though considering it’s a pub atmosphere.
I’ve been there twice in past month - both times I enjoyed my meal and had a great waiter (Dan the second time). 5:30 dinners - so wait, noise level, service, and seating was strong. I’d go again - no doubt. Btw ... save room for the sweet potato donuts for dessert.
Nice place to get dinner before a bruins game. Easy walk to the garden.
Beautiful space - great menu - delicious food - gracious, attentive service! A bit loud!
Really not a place to have a conversation.
Burger is good but left with a headache
Great spot to grab some lunch with the family. Quick and comforting service. Kid friendly!
