Food was amazing, our waiter Lucas was on point. Excellent customer service
The food was excellent and so was the presentation. The service was remarkable and the server was always checking in on us and did not rush us.
It was the perfect place for Easter brunch.
Great food and service very beautiful team of works great food and place too enjoy the night
Was happy to be taking my two daughters out for their birthday’s one is 24 and 30. Before we even sat down at the table we were told we had 90 minutes and no more. The second person came to the table to give us water and told us we were on the 90 minute restriction. As we are well aware of the restrictions and always respect them I did not feel it was necessary before even sat in the seat to tell me that I already had to leave. With no one else waiting for a table the bill appeared when I came back from the ladies room. We were supposed to have had a birthday dessert delivered to the table. I kindly asked the waiter and he did to take care of it. As good as he was, and he did say this is crazy with no one else waiting for this table and then spoke again about the 90 minutes. $730.00 later, for 90 minutes our special birthday dinner ended. So unnecessary especially at those prices.
frequent patrons of BC. Always a great nite out in an excellent atmosphere..
If you in a mood for a good steak in in a casual atmosphere this is definitely the place to go.
I probably had the worst service experience in my life. It’s a sad time that it’s getting to the point that I feel after dining out for many years that fine dining may be a thing of the past. I really hope that is not the case. I do realize that it was dine out Boston and I have to truly say that the food was fabulous as always. But, the service was way off. It was almost impossible to get a new napkin, my martini was pulled from the table with it still having vodka in it. And the server after I asked her about that told me that she would go bring me the glass so I could take the last sip but that there really was not one in there. During Covid times, I think I would pass on that even in regular times.
And never in my life unless I was at a very casual restaurant what I ever expect someone to put the check on my table while I still have my dessert and a half of a glass of wine.
I’ve lived in this beautiful neighborhood for 16 years and don’t see myself ever going back to Boston chops. I hope they polish things up. And I feel terrible about even making a complaint during these times but if they want to survive, they need to have all types of feedback.
Delicious food! Always consistent and great friendly service!
This was our first time going and it was our anniversary. It was a amazing first time experience and we are planning to go again. We’re super excited about it
In the past I have frequented this restaurant almost every Sunday for the burger and french fries.
Amazing steak! Definitely one of the best we ever had.
So nice to be back outside at one of our favorite places in the South End! As usual, everything prepared perfectly and served efficiently. The simple menu makes it easy to order favorites as well as try new entrees. It is always high value for exceptional quality.
Amazing! Great food and service. We will definitely be back soon!
It was my first visit to Boston Chops and I found it to be a great experience!
Obviously you have to start out with the popovers - so light and tasty! You can’t go wrong with the steak frites. But finishing off with the large crepe brûlée is a must. The server was very professional.
Food was exactly how we wanted it and the service was fantastic
Came here for Dine Out Boston week. Doesn't seem like the menu changes for Dine Out Boston, which is fine. Get the hanger steak and bone marrow. Bone marrow on top of steak, dipped in peppercorn sauce - chef's kiss. The service was great - got the idea to put bone marrow on steak from our waiter.
Restaurant Week menu
This place was superb! Great atmosphere and not as noisy as I thought it would be given the openness of the ceilings.
I had wedge salad for appetizer which was good size. Hubz had the salmon tartare that was AMAZING (I'd order 3 of them as a dinner!)
We both had steak frites - I had the peppercorn sauce and hubz had the house sauce. We both agreed that the house sauce was a bit too sweet for our tastes but the peppercorn was wonderful (hint, dip your fries in it - you'll thank me)
Crème brulee for dessert - I admit I was full by then and only had a bite but it was a good bite!
Wine list is the best I've seen - something for every taste and price point.
Service was immaculate.
I'd go again in a heartbeat!
First time there and the worst experience ever!! Couldn’t even get my steak right after 2 tries
Delicious food and very good service. Fun, Quick and efficient.
The "pour" of glass of wine was poor, particularly given the cost. A better "pour" should be considered.
One of our meat dishes had too much fat on the piece, again particularly given the cost.
Loved it! Great service at the bar from our very knowledgeable and courteous bartender!
Love their appetizer!!!
Broken glass in my drink, my medium-rate filet was well-done. It took 20 minutes to see my waiter to send it back. Everyone was polite but no one seemed to care. Not the typical Boston Chops dining experience.
I've been to at least 10 steakhouses in Boston, and Boston Chops is one of my favorites!
Amazing ! Always amazing !
We had an amazing time. It’s always a pleasure coming here! Can’t wait to be back!
Always an amazing time!!!
Went on a Saturday so did not get to enjoy the dine out menu -- turns out to be a great thing since the portion was so large, my friend and I did not have any space for desserts! 100% recommend the mac and cheese and chicken over risotto. We ended up both taking home a full box of food too. The waitress was so nice and gave very great recommendations.
Very nice restaurant and good food. Will go back.
Best steak I’ve had cooked in a restaurant. Amazing service, staff was personable and professional
We went here for dinner on Friday during Dine Out Boston . I ordered the hanger steak well done and it was burnt to a crisp. It was inedible and felt like I was biting into a rock. My boyfriend got a filet medium well, and it was bright red. He took one bite of his steak. The staff were very nice and the fries and dessert were great. I would not return to this restaurant again after how poorly our food was cooked.
Food was amazing! Server was amazing! Would definitely dine again and will let my friends know of my experience.
Food was good but overall poor experience.
Ate here for Dine Out Boston week. Great value. Good spacing between tables due to Covid. Our servcer, Melanie, was great. Very attentive. Food was great!
We had not eaten at Chops since the pandemic hit. It was great to be back for Dine Out Boston week. The food, service and atmosphere are still wonderful. We will be back often!
Would totally recommend the wagyu entree. The environment is amazing, very industrial style.
Beautiful restaurant..attentive staff. Food was delicious!
Unbelievable dinner. Favorite restaurant around. Great service
