I brought a group of colleagues to Boston Chops, and the evening could not have gone better. The welcome was warm, the table was perfect, the service was sharp (without being stuffy), and the food was fantastic. It was great to see the place buzzing. Looking forward to my next visit.

We had the best girls night at Boston Chops!! Our server Kiko completed our girls night. The overall feel of the place and Kiko's jokes kept us laughing abd the food and service was fantastic. It's under new management and Johnnie was great and saw to our needs. We had a nut allergy in our party and she was well tended and felt very safe. Great drinks, great service, and perfectly cooked steak, truly couldn't ask for more!! Oh and best french fries ever.

The service was very good, minus the staff that reached across my soup to take my flatware. The drinks were very good as was the food. They charge too much for their steaks and I would not order one for that reason. There are other steak houses in Boston far better than Boston Chop that charge less.

Amazing food overall. The bread and Chateaubriand were both 5/5. I wasn’t totally sold on the Brussel Sprouts, but they were still a solid 3.5/5.

Our party visited Boston Chops for Thanksgiving. I appreciated that they had both a thanksgiving traditional dinner option and their full menu available. Service was polite and let us know specials available. For dinner I enjoyed the La vie en rose cocktail, 8 oz choice filet, crab cake, and sticky toffee pudding. Steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly and I loved the mashed potatoes presented in a crispy round almost tator tot form. The sticky toffee was delicious! I would definitely return for that alone. The crab cake was just okay for me. I didn’t find it very flavorful. Overall wonderful dinner and would definitely return!

Although a bit pricy, all of the food was outstanding. Wait staff seemed to takes a little longer than expected to take orders (food or drinks were usually finished by the time we could order the next course) but they were very friendly and knowledgeable. All of the food was great, and the sides were almost as good as the entrees themselves. Overall highly recommended.

I’ve always loved this spot… although the past couple times I have visited, I felt the service wasn’t the greatest. I felt EVERYTHING is an add on to increase the total cost of the bill. That might work in the moment, although that will end up costing customers. Sorry if that’s too honest.

Had brunch yesterday 11/13 at Boston Chops. Party of 5. We sat near the bar at a high top table. Boston Chops is a fabulous restaurant in the Southend. Luke at the bar and our female server ( sorry forgot her name ) were absolutely wonderful. The hostess and manager were great also. Engaging and fun and really made brunch enjoyable. Prices were very good for brunch considering the quality of this restaurant. Dinner menu also looked great but expensive for all steaks as expected . We will absolutely go back.

I really wasn’t impress with the menu options and instantly regretted not looking at the menu before going. I saw pictures of the food and ambiance via their instagram but in real life it just wasn’t my thing.

Alex was a fantastic server and had some great recommendations for our table. Overall the food was delicious and reasonable priced for what you get but the desserts were lack luster and we would recommend skipping them in favor of other items on the menu.

We were treating an out-of-town colleague to a thank you dinner, and the staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating in creating a wonderful experience. Our server was very affable. The food was delicious. The evening provided a lovely way to give gratitude to a deserving colleague. Thank you, Boston Chops! (Also, the Bordelaise is delicious - almost as good as my homemade. ;-))

Everything was excellent - service from extremely friendly and attentive staff, food was amazing (so light and delicate) and ambience was wonderful (sitting outside on the patio). And the popovers (with the whipped butter) are the best I’ve had!!!

Boston Chops seems to be in decline. Consistency and quality hasn’t been there during recent visits. The format of the menu leaves a lot to desire and the wine list is bland. It’s too bad for one of my favorite spots over the last decade.

Food is very good, server was outstanding. Only drawback was that you are charged for the bloody mary mix separately. At $13.00 a bloody, it should be in the price. Recommend that you don't go tbe British way of charging for mixes separately. Otherwise a great brunch.

The steak quality was excellent. The restaurants was packed and the noise level prevented any attemp to talk. Take this into consideration!
