My two old teenage/young adult kids and i went to Bosq just to get together for a rare meal. (Busy schedules.) The grapevine said the owner/chef at Bosq had worked at one of the top 3 restaurants in the world (in Spain), one that i’ve seriously (extravagantly) considered going to on a weekend just to eat there. Anyway. The food at Bosq was fantastic. Unique, fascinating, and deliscious. We had a great evening there. It does get a little loud. We went at 6 so it was relatively quiet. By the time we left, the volume had picked up quite a bit, probably because it was packed.
My second time, and it is still Great!!! Will come bac, any time!!! Love It! Thank You!

Not to be missed. Chef Barkley's cuisine is creative, delicious and interesting. Also fun to sit at the bar and enjoy some tasty food.

When I voiced displeasure at the only Chardonnay on the list being $22/glass, the man next to me informed me that they pay $30,000/month in rent that’s the story —- very expensive.
I started with a great sounding appetizer of salmon ( cured — I thought it was smoked) in a chip/ cracker that was clever but the dollops of habenero made it impossible to eat—even if you’re from New Orleans and like spice.
Second app were fried chanterelle mushrooms that were lukewarm and tasteless accompanied by decent aioli sauce.

Food was excellent, especially the soup course. Absolutely loved the parsnip soup. Wine list was interesting and help from staff for selection was outstanding.
Peking duck was excellent. Service was average except for our wine SOM. He was knowledgeable and passionate about his craft.

Delicious food and fantastic service. From the onset service was great b/c we had to change our reservation because we got lost on our way from Denever and they totally worked with us. Dinner was great, nuanced, felt farm to table but posh. what I especially liked was the family feel- executive chef was engaging and chatted with us, his wife was the bartender, his grandfather's face hung on the floor... I recommend.

The restaurant was good, atmosphere was nice. The recommended wine was a bit hot and overwhelmed my dish a little too much. The striped bass course was interesting, but a bit over cooked and dry for my tastes. Service was decent, but water refills were sparse and completely ceased once we paid the bill and were finishing our wine over some conversation.
A group of 6 had dinner there one early evening. We ate outside and waited for the thunderstorm that never came. We shared a number of small dishes prior to the main course. The food was excellent.

We went for what was,expected to be great Peking duck. If you go expecting traditional PD you’ll be disappointed, as were we. No thin slices of duck with generous skin. Instead thick slices of duck with little skin. Flavor was okay. Spring Onions were hard with little flavor and cucumber seemed to be marinated. Not good. Duck cut in kitchen not in front of customer and nothing left for second course.

Loved the ambience and the service. Had special salad and fried eggplant that was delicious. Perfect drinks. Disappointed with Peking duck. Duck was very tough. Had better in average Chinese restaurant. Best thing was our waiter Tyler.
Sat outside which we thought would be great, but it was clear they were sorely understaffed on July 4th week, so we were basically ignored. The matre'd tried to help, and we ended up ordering our dinner with him. They were out of most of the wine on the bottle list, but he eventually brought us an OK bottle they had in stock. The food was good but given the high prices, it wasn't a great experience overall. Wish we sat inside since it was very quaint and we likely would have gotten more attention.
Overrated and over hyped. Peking Duck was substandard and certainly not worth the pre-order or $52.00 price tag (even for Aspen).
Menu was creative and most dishes were interesting and delicious. However, the main courses were not delivered at the same time; those first served waited so long that they had to start before their food got cold, and were well into their meals when the remaining dinners were served.
Extremely creative menu and execution!! Going back again tonight.

Bosq serves the most innovative and delicious food in Aspen, hands down. Often too many ingredients in a dish is a warning sign, not here. The chef is superb and really knows what he is doing. If it is a nice night and you can sit outside you will be guaranteed a perfect meal.
This is an extraordinary restaurant. The food dishes are very creative & innovative! Even better, everything was prepared to perfection, very enjoyable. The service was excellent! Aspen enjoys many fine restaurants, but BosQ is clearly about an elegant & gourmet dinning experience. Highly recommended!
Amazing meal. The Peking duck is outstanding but each and every plate we had was amazing.
Not to be missed! Creatively prepared food that is delicious. Outdoor dining is delightful as is the dining room.
The bartender (who was on his first day) was not much fun. More like a dictator.....and a bit unfriendly. The Whole experience after initially talking to him kind of went south.
Beautifully prepared food with great flavors and presentation. Highlights were the steak tartare, crispy eggplant and the Peking Duck. As must stop in a town with great restaurants
The food is amazing, however, the place is extremely small and has around 10-15 tables maximum, we waited around 45 minutes past our reservation time to be seated but the manager was very nice and gave us a couple of appetizers on the House as an apology for the wait. Just a tip, I hate eggplant but you got to try it here.
My husband and I dined at Bosq before a concert at the Belly-Up. We liked that certain dishes are meant to be shared, such as the duck, which was divine! Super tender and tasty. The fried shiitake mushrooms are a delicious appetizer. The bar tender makes a marvelous martini. Our server was friendly, attentive and helpful in making our selection. The perfect waiter. We will definitely go back to Bosq the next time we attend a concert at the Belly-Up.
