   Celebrated my husband's birthday there. Drinks are good including mocktails for the kids. Get the "spicy" one. Tableside Caesar salad was delicious as was the bread. The charcuterie platter was tasty but could use a little more meat selection. Mac and cheese was good not great. Puree potatoes were yummy. Now the meat. Filet was nice with the Beaujolais sauce, the Japanese wagyu melted in my mouth. The trouble came with the T-Bone, there was too much gristle and hard to cut. They were very kind about it and gave him a different piece of meat and a slice of carrot cake for his birthday. It's a loud atmosphere and the lighting downstairs makes it hard to see without using your cellphone light.

   First time here and we will be back again. I took my son for his birthday and we had the steak sampler platter. I highly recommend the shrimp cocktail as well and the fresh bread was delicious. We enjoyed the Japanese Wagyu so much that we ordered an addition 4 ounces. The food was delicious and the service was excellent, but it was very noisy and chaotic which is why I gave it an overall 4 instead of 5.

   Great location for a special date or birthday. If you give them a small heads up of the occasion, they will go the extra mile to really make it a special night. Either way, the service is phenomenal and the food is fantastic. All of the staff/service was incredibly kind and welcoming, and their extensive knowledge about food, drinks, etc. was a breath of fresh air. Super great restaurant and I can't wait to go back.

    This was our second time visiting Born and Raised. We came to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary. From the moment we got there, everyone was extremely friendly and very hospitable. We were gifted with some complimentary glasses of champagne and given a card to congratulate us on our anniversary. The food was amazing and our drinks were too. Needless to say we will definitely be back for our next anniversary and any other special occasion we might have.

    Go for the experience! We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and they gave us a cute pink anniversary card to start off our evening and came around with the pink champagne cart. Mattie was our waiter and he was extraordinary! We had the burgundy snails, table side Caesar salad( Kean did a great job!), steak sampler, and hash browns. Everything was delicious. Def recommend getting the steak sampler. Drinks were tasty, French 75, old fashioned, gin martini with liquid nitrogen. The best dining experience I’ve had. You must try it!

    Our server Kaitlyn was absolutely amazing (we hope she passed her final day!) We celebrated my husband’s birthday, Mother’s Day and my parents 40th wedding anniversary. We were so blown away when they brought my mom flowers and two cards (Mother’s Day & anniversary). So thoughtful and felt personalized.

    Amazing!! We enjoyed dinner upstairs, sat at table that was partly outdoors and the weather was perfect. Megan was our server and she was attentive and friendly. We both had filets and shared the yummy bread and puréed potatoes. The four sauces they offered were all delicious, our favorites were the horseradish and the bordelaise. They surprised us with a yummy macaroon that was charcoal w/ lemon and raspberry flavor. We would’ve had the chocolate cake or the carrot cake if we weren’t so full of the filet but we’ll definitely be back and will try to save room for dessert next time. We’ll definitely be back, bringing out of town friends and coworkers so we can show off this wonderful place.

    The staff is very friendly, they make the best to make you feel welcomed. The decor is beautiful even the restrooms. My only complaint is the bone In ribeye, it was very chewy and flavorless, but everything else was amazing and delicious.

    used to be top notch, 5 stars. last night was not the same. food was poor quality. steak was fatty and subpar. when a grown man leaves 10 ounces of steak on his plate, and opts not to take it home, it should be obvious there is a problem. when the manager tells you he has taken 15% off the steak (10 bucks! ha!) then that is absolutely an insult and shows a lack of professionalism. too bad as I have hosted events and dined out personally on a number of prior occasions with this establishment and will move my business away from Born going forward. p.s. when the hostess asks if there is a special occasion, and is informed that it is a birthday dinner- might be a good idea to let the server know. Grow up Born and Raised

    100% worth the visit. From the food to the service to the ambiance, it is always a lovely time here. Worth the price tag & the food is just beyond. Probably one of the best restaurants in SD.     Celebrated my boyfriends birthday and enjoyed our first time there . Steak was cooked perfect ,they didn’t have Mac and cheese so we settled for the pasta which was good . Overall great night and loved the atmosphere . Will come back when I’m in SD area .
