It was our first time at Born and Raised where we were celebrating my birthday. We all fell in love with the food, drinks and the service we received. Very efficient, polite and timely. I highly recommend it for anyone as we have found our favorite dinning place.

The food is superb! My 14 y/o son preferred the the dry aged steak than the classic. The uni pasta and snails are delicious. We would definitely come back to this place.

This was my first time at this Restaurant Born and Raised. It took 4 weeks for a reservation and our reservation time was 6:45. We arrived early at 6:40 was being seated in a booth in the very back right next to where the servers station is , I refused that table so we did get a nicer table . The food was ok , not as great as I expected . Our waiter was very nice but there was wayyyy to much time between our salad course and our main course . Very very disappointing . We did not get our steak served until 8:45 Thats 2 hours after we sat down at our table and over an hour after our salad . Needless to say I will not be in any hurry to go back to this restaurant . So disappointed . So many other great steak restaurant’s to choose from .

Our tableside server Joe was exceptionally good, he made our Steak Tartare. We have had better Steak Tartare elsewhere although it was not bad, just average. Our main server Brian was distracted by his other tables which were larger and/or more talkative with him. We had to flag him down on several occasions to get our drinks refilled and when we had issues with our food, he was nowhere to be found. We had dirty dishes left on our table for almost the entire experience and the guy who refilled our water kept refilling our empty cocktail glasses with water. There were plenty of servers/runners, etc. milling about, they just didn't seem to be focused on priorities which made this a disappointing experience. We had heard so many great things about the service that we were positively shocked at the lack of attentiveness! My bone-in ribeye was slightly overcooked but was hot and well seasoned. The bordelaise sauce I ordered was watery and lacked the mouth-feel and flavor to which I am accustomed. My husband's trout was very good. My mother-in-law had the rack of lamb which, though order charred/medium, was rare and had to be sent back to the fire. I very much enjoyed the 2015 Paso Robles Zinfandel and would have ordered more of it, but was unable to flag down the server to order it, so I just gave up. Cowboy Star set a high bar and this place just didn't come close.

What amazing food and a beautiful space. I loved the flowers climbing up the ceiling. The staff was on point, except our waiter was on Speed, as assessed by three medical providers.
I loved Kyle the Cesar Salad King. They have a fantastic wine list which included a wine from a hard to get winery in Alba.
The filet was done to perfection. It melted in my mouth.

This was our second visit to Born and Raised and it was better than the first. The Steak Sampler was incredible from start to finish and we love that the staff was very knowledgeable, kind, attentive, and very cool! We also had the dirty hash browns and they were just stupid good!! Thank you BAR!! Looking forward to our next visit.

Any discomfort caused by the decor and other shortcomings is redeemed by the excellent food put before us. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for superior cooking. Every dish was superb.

Easily one of the best meals I've ever had. I ordered the filet with a blue cheese crust. My husband ordered the dry aged rib eye which he did enjoy but said that my filet was better, haha. But that's a taste preference, so nothing to do with how the food was prepared or anything. Ordered the bread, Mac and cheese, and fancy hash browns as side dishes and all were fanatic! And the Malbec was soooo smooth. Great meal! Totally worth waiting 3 weeks to get a table! The ambiance reminded me a bit of Great Gatsby. Very posh. The noise level was very loud, almost reminded me of a cafeteria. So that's probably the only negative I have to give it, but we didn't totally mind. I can't wait to go again!

We celebrated our anniversary here. The food, service, and ambiance were great! Classy but with an Edge. Cool "Great Gatsby" vibes. The 2nd floor is beautiful. Bathrooms are dope. It's definitely an experience!

I will definitely give Born and Raised another try. I think that they must be training new waitstaff because the service was a little uneven. Our first waiter was better than the second. Also, I ordered the bone in ribeye medium rare and though the steak was cooked to the correct temperature, I was surprised by how chewy the steak was. My wife had the bone in NY Strip and she really enjoyed it. The sides were delicious. We really enjoyed the Dirty Hashbrowns, the Charred Sweet Potatoes (amazing with the harissa), the homemade Banana Ice Cream (my favorite), and the cheesecake. In addition, the house old fashioned was excellent as was the Gibson.

The food was great, the service was great... but why is the music so loud that we can't speak to our wait staff? I left with a headache from the noise which puts a damper on the evening. She couldn't hear us, we couldn't hear each other. We were upstairs under the roof... so I assume they were cranking it so those truly "outside" could hear it... but at the expense of other diners/ customers- find a better way.

It was our 15th Anniversary dinner and everyone was very attentive and we got two glasses of champagne on the house. The food was absolutely amazing as well as the drinks. We will definitely be back but would love to try upstairs next time!
