   Food and drinks were amazing. All steak cooked perfectly. Our reservation ended up needing to change to accommodate 1 more person coming to dinner with us. When we got there hostess/manager was rude and made it seem like we’re an inconvenience to them, even though I called 3 times hours before we showed up just for them to not pick up the phone. At least have the decency to be welcoming and accommodating to your guests????. Our actual server and table side ceaser chef helped make up for the pretentious attitude that welcomed us in the front.

   The food was very good especially the Japanese wagu, waitress had excellent service very attentive and I loved the environment! Will definitely come back. It was also my bfs birthday and they did not fail to make him feel like it’s his special day☺️ 9/10 just because the food was a bit pricey for the amount (steak sampler)

   Honestly, the food was good, but I wouldn’t say it was worth the price. We’ve been to MANY high-end steakhouses and paid similar prices for much better steaks and sides. Service was okay, but the ambience and everything was amazing.

   We loved our dinner here — great and friendly service, from the welcoming hostess to the craft bartender and table servers. We were able to sit in the rooftop dining area and loved the ambiance, even with the cold we were comfortable. The menu had plenty of great options and we enjoyed the steak tartare, table side Caesar salad, steaks and dirty hash browns, along with bread. They customized the wine cart flight for us and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Highly recommended.

   Two milestone birthdays (70 and 75)…couldn’t have asked for a better dining experience. From our server and associates, to sitting upstairs with sitelines of downtown. But the food is the showstopper (highly recommend the steak sampler). Superb. Well, maybe the dessert cart was the visual star at the end and we weren’t disappointed in selecting three of the four desserts presented. Yum!

   Amazing….Been to many Steak houses throughout the San Diego area and B & R has to be one of the best! Steak Tartare, Tableside Caesar Salad to start, followed by the amazing steaks cooked to perfection. Pureed mashed and mushrooms paired very well with our meal. And don’t forget to get the amazing desserts offered, we went with the sweet potato cheesecake which was out of this world delicious. Atmosphere was very enjoyable with some good old school music playing! Definitely coming back and will be our number Steak house thus far. Thank you

   Have been many times. Each time i wonder why i continue to come back. It is always to give it a shot with new people who have not experienced born n raised. Tonight service was slow ( we arrived at 415 for the first seating). First waitress explained she would be there for 20 minutes with a heavy accent and didnt ask like i have heard before if we have dined there before. I have but my friends has not. It helps to know the way the kitchen works. Rare. Rare plus. Steaks. Family style sides. No explanation. Slow service. Then a shift change. My steak was sub par. But ok. Then ordered dessert and coffee. Long wait for both. Both lattes not hot. Dissapointed.

    I love this restaurant In reminded why I love to go back every single time. The yellowtail sashimi special was amazing! I came here to celebrate my birthday and the staff was so attentive and kind and generous. I love coming back here every time!
