From the food to the drinks, and from the service to the environment, everything was fantastic. It was like high-end food meets classy sports bar. My fiancè and I went to Borgne for my birthday and we both a had a great time. I ate a few raw oysters, the Shrimp Toast and the Black Drum - all amazing. My fiancè ate the Hanger steak. I don’t know what was better, that or the drum. We’ll be back!

This place was so great! They were extremely accommodating to our large group of 15. The food came out all together and was sooooo good!! One of the best meals we had while in New Orleans!!

The food is a little strange (turkey necks?). But, I liked the fish sandwich.

Food is terrific. Waiter are very familiar with the menu. It was our Birthday Lunch Bunch occasion and Lou, our thoughtful waiter brought a Happy Birthday chocolate banner for the Birthday Girl's dessert.

Love this place. Great staff, eclectic menu. Get the turkey necks...seriously...just do it and the shrimp toast for appetizers. The fish bag is scrumptious and if you are a salad lover then get the grilled romaine salad and add shrimp, it is an unexpected twist on a traditional salad.

We are in NOLA all the time and Borgne never disappoints. It is one of the best values in the New Orleans for happy hour for business travelers too. Nice and professional crowd.

Had the kale and quinoa salad with grilled fish.
Delicious! Borgne should add healthier options to their daily special menu.

Dined after a Saints game and was able to get a table before reservation time. Waitress was good and food was very good. I had a cup of gumbo that was great and the fish which was perfectly cooked. Plenty of food, my husband helped me finished my meal. Definitely recommend.

First time in, after the Saints big playoff win against Carolina .. Who Dat!? Everything was fantastic from hostess greeting to waiter service and recommendations to our departure. Only sad we didn’t discover it earlier, as we frequent New Orleans.

Nice little gem in the CDB. Perfect for dinner before events at the Arena or Superdome. Excellent happy hour too. In the lobby of the Hyatt-Regency.

The NO-style food we had was great, especially the local fish (cooked in a parchment bag), the oysters, and the beans + greens.

We ate here just before the Sugar Bowl, and boy was it packed! So glad we made reservations. They seated us just slightly late, but as I mentioned, it was packed. The bar was standing room only. Food was absolutely delicious! Service was quick, and staff was very attentive and friendly. Atmosphere was perfect for pre-game as there were several games up on the tv's in the bar and everyone seemed hyped up for the showdown. We admired the columns in the dining room as they were dressed entirely in oyster shells! Very fitting given the location. We had the Oyster BLT, 1/2 lb jumbo shrimp (biggest we'd ever seen!), catfish sliders, salads and Roasted cauliflower soup (very good!). We'd totally hit this place up again.

I had reservations to dine before the Sugar Bowl. It was freezing outside so no one wanted to leave when they finished eating. It was a Madhouse. All the staff remained extremely polite and professional throughout the ordeal. The service was still great as was the food.

I had the shrimp po' boy and my husband had the grilled fish sandwich, both of which were very good, but the highlight was the French fries—quite possibly the best I've ever had!! And even though they were quite busy on New Year's Day prior to the Sugar Bowl, the service was great, too. Would definitely recommend!

Fabulous meal! The food was delicious, and service was friendly and speedy, even with a party of 11 on New Years Day with Sugar Bowl crowds. Great spot right by the Super Dome! Reasonable prices for lunch and good portion sizes.

There was total disregard for the dining public because of the loud kids at the adjacent table. No one from the establishment made any effort to ask them to be considerate of the other diners. you could have a very great dining establishment if properly managed. The lighting was not in keeping with fine dining at a special Hotel such as yours.

Sorry, I am used to more refined locations.

Great French fries and decent kale salad. Shrimp for everyone over cooked. It's a Besh owned seafood restaurant in Nola.

Gumbo lacked depth.

Cocktails kind of sucked.

Server couldn't have had less personality.

Sad I wasted a meal here.

Despite great reviews the food was just completely disappointing. With the exception of the oysters the rest of the dishes were pretty bad...and the fish was actually not edible. The waiter was great and removed the fish from the bill. It is a shame their food did not match their level of service.

We ate at Borgne on Christmas night, so we could experience their 4-course Revellion dinner. We had heard many good things about the restaurant & were very excited about this splurge for our first night of vacation. Ultimately, we found the restaurant to be a very unwelcoming space that lacked any warmth in decor, service or food presentation. The food was average at best & was not worth the premium prices. We were very disappointed and will not go back or recommend.

My husband & I dined at Borgne on Christmas night after seeing Chef Brian Landry on Iron Chef & being impressed with his food. The meal did not disappoint! Though the price was a little steep for the casual feel of the restaurant, we had more than we could eat & the service couldn't have been better. The black drum with pecan brown butter & crab meat was spectacular! Would surely recommend to anyone looking for a delicious seafood dinner!

My boyfriend and I went fo Christmas dinner and it was absolutely amazing! I am GF and felt there were enough options to choose from that wasn't a salad or salad decision. The key lime pie was delicious. Highly recommend. We had a great waiter, Cody, and both my and my boyfriend's dinner/courses were tasty and well worth the price.

It was just OK. Expected better quality of food, since the prices were high for the holiday menu. I ordered stuffed flounder, and the stuffing had a standard 2 pieces of shrimp, as did the other two people at my table found, the rest was a glop of breading. The menu was prefixed with about 4 choices in each category. Nothing outstanding was offered, but we all wanted a fish entrée and there were two listed. For dessert I ordered a banana bread with salted caramel sauce that was obviously previously frozen which made the bread very dry and tasteless. The other dinner guests stated their dessert choice, a frozen peanut butter pie, was nothing to write home about.
The cocktails, even though they were delicious where very expensive. We expected a luxury evening based on previous reviews and website menu, but our overall experience was just pretty good.
Given there were few reservations available for Christmas dinner with only a handful of restaurants being open, this was acceptable, but way overpriced for the quality.
