                            Food was decent but we had to wait almost an hour before food arrived. Plus we ordered a bottle of white wine which was served at room temperature.

                            My stay was nice however I was told that breakfast was served until 10am so I went down just before 10 and found out breakfast closed at 9.30am. So unfortunately missed out on breakfast.

                            Food was tasty, but very small portions and very over priced. The chicken tika was tika sauce with a portion of grilled chicken on top!! Very over rated! The chips were straight out of the freezer Nothing special considering the price....

                            We found there wasn’t a great choice on the menu that we would eat but what we did have was really delicious and looked home made. Would be really nice to brighten the place up although it was very clean the brown decor needs a lift

                            The food at Borders was amazing. We had three courses and each course was as good as the other. Perfect! The staff were all brilliant too.

                            Food was lovely, place was relaxed and chill. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend.

                            Food was poor value for money, expensive for average quality food. Service poor, I asked to swap mash for chips on my Cumberland sausage and was told it would be a £5.50 supplement to do so. Never have I experienced this before. Fish pie contained 3 prawns and 1 piece of fish, very little mash and a bowl of sauce you could only eat with a spoon. Overall a very poor meal, topped off by a 10% discretionary charge added to our check out bill, which I insisted was removed.

                            I thought that the food was over priced for basic pub menu, pushing upwards of £50 for lasagne/chips and Fish/chip, medium portions, lasagne was not great to eat. I would not eat here again. Sorry!
