Opening its doors in 1987, Border Café is conveniently located in the heart of Harvard Square and is guided by its unwavering commitment to quality, value and fairness. Its original menu offered traditional Tex-Mex favorites but they soon began experimenting with Cajun cuisine, eventually adopting the philosophy of Jose Creole, an unassuming culinary genius who boldly blended southern flavors. Border Café continues to pay homage to a man who seamlessly blended Mexican and Cajun, Creole and Soul delicacies and who virtually created a whole new cuisine.
Border Café strives to appeal to all age groups and tastes by providing exceptional customer service in a casual, fun-oriented environment. They cook all of their dishes from scratch using the best ingredients available and they are all delivered fresh, never frozen. Come try their Louisiana catfish or their Bayou chorizo and andouille sausage -- the flavors will be unlike anything you had before.
