There were very few people in the restaurant when we arrived but it took our server a while to get to us. The menu we received did not reflect what I’d looked at online, and was told that’s because they have a weekDAY and a weekEND breakfast menu (that was not distinguished on the website - I double checked). The food was “fine”. But for the price I paid, I was expecting something green to accompany my meal of bread and potatoes. I wanted to eat here based on reviews, so maybe my expectations were too high. Disappointed. Maybe it’s better for evening food. But our seating hostess was lovely!
The boqueria experience was delicious!
Our server Tim was so Knowledgeable about the wine.
Had such a great time for my boyfriend's birthday. The kitchen brought us out two plates that weren't ours, I'm not sure what the issue was. But other than that, the food and sangria were amazing.
It was a great brunch location, our server was great and he really helped refilled our cocktail drinks quite often. Of course, as it is very popular, it does get extremely loud and busy. Overall my friends and I had a great time.
Very tight table arrangement, Noisy, Food was salty
Every last thing we had was amazing. Plus the wait staff are incredibly friendly, polite and helpful. Margaritas were so good too. Can't say enough good things about this place
Our first time to this fabulous tapas restaurant close to Penn Station and Port Authority was superb. The portions were huge...definitely enough to share. We loved these dishes which were prepared with innovative combinations of ingredients, including spices: eggplant, potatoes, sweet potatoes, spinach and calamari. The wine selection was plentiful and the selections we made perfectly complimented our food. Our server, Marcello, was knowledgeable, friendly, professional and attentive. SO delicious, we can't wait to return!
Great place for a lunch or breakfast meeting. Good food, nice atmophere.
Great place full of delicious options. Service was a bit slow but it was quite busy.
Dulce de leche Churros are to die for!!!
The food was delicious and our server was superb. He explained the menu in good details. We will certainly return at this location and recommend this restaurant.
The food was too salty...... and the place is too crowded.... The worst experience ever!
What a great experience. Great flavors and great service. We will definitely be back.
Service was not great- slow, didn’t know what we ordered, recommended things we already had on the table, described drinks inaccurately. Food was pretty good. Easy spot for pre dinner tapas
The food was pretty good. The brunch was filling but not too much. Given the location, it is reasonably priced. However, it was definitely an energetic place and was a little difficult to hear what my friend was saying. Most likely will not seek out the place intentionally.
Great food, great value, can't wait to go back!
Jonathan was a great server. Delicious lunch.
Two in my party took ill after the meal. This was unfortunate. It was very difficult to get attention from the sever. Had taken an out-of-town business partners there and was very disappointed.
Excellent food and super friendly service!
Sandwich was dry and tasteless. Salad was mediocre.
Waiter was very informative about the menu. He made suggestions, and we enjoyed everything we tried. Ambience is also quite nice! Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to go back!
Nice place and good food!
Food and wine lists are excellent. Service from
Wait staffs can be greatly improved.
Excellent food, very busy and lively. Enjoy the fact that you can see the kitchen from your table.
Noise should be little low otherwise the ambience was good and the food was great
I like the place
Good tasting food and great service.
We told them we are part for 6people. 4 adults and two kids before we visited.
But they said we had to choose from prefix menu $42per person for 6 people.
Finally they accepted we could choose from à la carte menu.
Went for breakfast. Menu on line was very different from at the restaurant. Actual menu only had a few selections. It was not busy but the service was slow 10 minutes to get someone to come over. Then the order was delivered at different times for two people. Again it wasn't busy. Maybe dinner is different.
Ate breakfast in morning, and experience was perfect, so we decided to go back for dinner!!! The service was excellent, and food even better. The staff worked together like symphony. Definitely want to go back!
Great place to go for dinner with friends: not for a special occasion, as it is very loud. The service was excellent and timely. The food overall was very good, but don't get the octopus, as it was overcooked.
Tapas dishes were good, but the service was not. Waiter forgot my drink, croquets were warm, but not hot, $3.50 for a small glass of club soda, 1 small meat and cheese platter, 6 croquets, 2 small lamb skewers, and a small plate of cooked cauliflower = $86.00 plus tip.
If you have to dine in the heart of Times Square, this is a great place!
Great food, great ambiance and service. The only thing I would change is the bitterness of the flan, the caramel was too burnt. Overall great experience, I would definitely come back
We thought it was very nice. The size of the plates was reasonable so that you could order a selection of items for a nice variety meal. The servers were attentive but not intrusive. The dishes we tried tasted great. And for New York the price per plate was quite reasonable. They asked right away if we had tickets to a show (we did) so they made sure to get us out on time without having to rush eating. Woudl gladly go back.
Unfortunately, we had to return food twice with out successful results. My husband's steak was cold the first time and after waiting 20 minutes for the second order it was yet cold again & salty.
My lamb was salthy both times, since I also sent it back.
My eggplant was also salty, but I managed with the bread served.
We left there starving since we were unable to eat. The only thing that was not salty was the octopus.
The manager comped our bill for the wine and two dishes.
That being said, the waiters ( change of shift) were both doing their best with the situation not in their control. They were sympathetic and apologetic.
We left with out leaving a tip and only realized half way home. I have mailed a card with tip enclosed to the general manager Erin McBride explaining to kindly see that the waiters get their well derserved tip.
Food was spectacular
We went several times. The initial visit service was poor. It got better on subsequent visits.
We had the Christmas Feast. Lots of delicious food. Never had to wait too long between dishes. Server was extra accommodating and great at what he does. A little too loud of an atmosphere is my only complaint. Music should be a tad lower.
We had to wait 45 minutes for the rice... but the portion was great for two to even three people.
