Exceptional, great tapas. Fantastic ambiance, excellent for a date. Wanted to dine at Boqueria UES for sometime the restuarant food & service did not disappoint.
Very great place!
Good music. Otherwise food took forever and staples (tortilla espanola, manchego and gambas al ajillo) were not good.
Came in for the boozy brunch menu and left with my pants unbuttoned. Rose sangria was my favorite and also the strongest of their selection. Some of my favorite plates were the pan con tomate con jamon, the croquetas, and the French toast!
Good food and service. Noise level high. Another problem - tables very close.
Great as alwqys
The restaurant has some very good and original tapas. I really like that uniqueness.
Place was fab and what a great deal! Their Brunch Feast was fantastic. I do recommend going on the later side as it will start to clear out and be less crowded overall but, such a great time and looking forward to going back!
Attentive restaurant staff...service was best I've had in a while. Thank you!
It was Liit!
Excellent Spanish food. A little pricey, but you are in Manhattan...
Fun, great service, excellent atmosphere and the tapas where very good. A very enjoyable Sunday lunch! Staff where super -
Nice atmosphere, good choice of tapas, friendly staff, maybe a little expensive for what you get.
AMAZING! No better words to describe this place. Would definitely recommend the shareables: roasted eggplants, shrimp, and the meat and cheese plate. Best food!
So great and tasty amazing options
Decided to try this place on a recent weekend trip to NYC after seeing pictures on a friend's FB page. It did not disappoint! I am from Florida so paying $39 per person for brunch seemed expensive (and I still think it is, quite honestly) but the food was so good, and so much, that the New Yorkers we went with convinced me that it was a good deal. There were four of us and The $39/pp included four tapas (enough for 4 of course), a big brunch paella good for 4, churros for 4 and unlimited sangria. They have 3 different sangria flavors so it was great to try them all. For tapas we chose the tortilla espanola, patatas bravas, bread with manchego cheese and serrano ham, and the eggplant. All delicious! The only sticky part was that even though my 17-yr old son does not drink, they said everybody at the table had to do the $39/pp in order for it to work. Since he can't drink sangria, they brought him coffee, so I felt that they should have a way around that. Maybe that person pays $25, or whatever, because obviously coffee is cheaper than alcohol and how much coffee can you have? So I felt I did not get the same value for his $39. The food was delicious and my other son who lives in NY told all his friends and they are going back.
Fantastic food and service - highly recommended. Loud, but mainly in a good way
Excellent food and service. Energetic vibe.
Loved it ! Went for brunch the customer service was great ! And my friends were so happy with the quality of the food
Even though we had a reservation, it took us nearly 20 minutes to be seated, not to mention the restaurant was mostly empty. Our waiter consistently forgot to serve coffees, drinks and appetizers we ordered. I've been to Boqueria before and really liked it, but the service was poor.
I came here with my friends on a Sunday afternoon to catch-up. I picked this location because I had a fantastic bottomless brunch at Boqueria in their Flatiron location. Unfortunately there was no availability there, so I picked the UES location.
I really enjoy the food, giving various choices. Everyone in my group felt full after the brunch.
I enjoyed the service and the ambiance at the UES side location. Our server, Erica, was fantastic. She kept on checking in on us and refilling our drinks.
The best part is that it is close to the new 2nd Ave - Q train. Definitely gives me a reason to check out the new station
This is my second visit here and it was amazing my girlfriend and I were having brunch for her birthday and we had an amazing time thank you
I was completely disappointed with my dining experience. I thought that going to a Tapas restaurant would make a fun night out. The food was mediocre at best. The croquettes recommended by our server were unrecognizable as being either mushroom or ham. The octopus was over cooked as well. I felt that they don't even try to make a delicious meal. In general it was a poor experience, over priced, especially the small glasses of wine. Needless to say I will neither recommend this restaurant to friends or return.
My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed the tapas. Everything was delicious. We were there on a Saturday afternoon and the place was packed, but they didn't rush us at all. Seating is tight, and it was pretty noisy. Birthday desserts include a sparkler.
We had reservations for brunch at 10:30, and the restaurant was virtually empty when we arrived which meant we had very attentive staff and an overall wonderful experience even as it became more crowded.
The food and atmosphere were excellent! The service and hostess were outstanding. Highly recommend
Lovely, warm reception, nice bar, delicious food, really good experience!!
It was my second time at Boqueria UES. The food was the main highlight of the evening. There were no gimmicks here. The ambiance was pleasant. I would definitely visit again. Try the roasted padrón peppers!
The menu has a nice mix of traditional tapas and lighter-style farm-to-table offerings. They do vegetables particularly well like brussel sprouts with orange peel and fiery eggplant. The service wasn't very good (perhaps because it was a holiday) and we had to ask for our drinks and serving pieces several times before they actually showed up. But I'd still go back.
One of the best tapas places I’ve been, it’s expensive but the food is outstanding. The staff are also top quality, well worth the visit
Oscar our waiter gave us great attention and the staff really hustles to please . A great price for nyc dining and so much fun!
We did the chef's tasting menu and were not disappointed. Each selection brought to us was unique and delicious. Except for the scallops, which were on the bland side, every dish was seasoned exceptionally well. The chef did an excellent job accommodating the food requirements of one of our party, and we were all happy with the meal and quite full by the end. We tried a variety of cocktails, and overall were pleased, although I have had more interesting drinks at other restaurants. The service was very good, and we would not hesitate to go to this restaurant again.
Girls night out - delicious tapas, lots of options for people who don’t eat pork!
Boqueria is always great! Its a wonderful friendly neighborhood place. The food is consistently excellent.
I love this place
love this spot. It is not inexpensive, but it is worth it for a special occasion.
Delicious tapas, can't go wrong with their boozy brunch and menu!
Came here on NYE - a very busy occasion with a lot of people. I didn't expect the service to be as good as it was - we got our drinks (really great sangrias by the way) refilled very often and every round of tapas came out quickly and was delicious. Overall, great place to be for an easy and stress-free NYE.
Nice, food was good although a tad bit salty!
