Awesome food, great vibe! Service was really great - our waitress was so nice. We had tapas but will be back because the paella look excellent.
The hostess Sarah does an amazing job she handle the whole restaurant by herself , the food was ok the loin of lamb was fatty and tough didn’t eat it and i got charged anyway , the service was slow our waiter was aloof and careless. Don’t think will go back again
It pretends to be a Spanish Restaurant but it is clear that the person in charge of the kitchen never went to Spain
And if he or she did , did not learnt anything at all
We first went to Brooklyn, after a show at BAM and we loved it. When we found out that there was a Boqueria in Manhattan we were thrilled and the experience was just as good - in fact, we ordered the same things again since they were so delicious (yum - those dates and that porcini flatbread!) I'm sure we will be back again and again. Two beers and five tapas for the two of us was quite enough and the bill was under $100.
It was delicious and we loved it!
Love this place. The food is fresh, artfully done, and there are always great specials. The staff is also wonderful.
Food and service excellent. Do not go there without ordering the bacon wrapped dates. Best ever! !
We ordered two of the many tapas selections and found them to be both generous and absolutely delicious! I look forward to returning as this first time experience was terrific!
Perfect meal and experience.
We love Boqueria.
The service was attentive and great . I loved all the vegetarian tapas very authentic and flavorful. The portions for tapas was adequate for the price . Cocktail also excellent so happy there are more locations all over the city would love to go back and try everything else I couldn’t have
Great food, great ambiance in a great neighborhood!
best Spanish food in Manhattan.
service might lack of attention at times.
a must go in the upper east side
Authentic Spanish doesn't taste so Spanish any more. Bending to please the masses? Es una lástima.
The food was absolutely delicious and the service impeccable. The tables are close together so I thought I'd be yelling to get my date to hear me but it was the opposite. It was intimate and I barely even noticed the other people dining. I particularly recommend the lamb meatballs- delicious.
when you call for reservations they always to accommodate you I did live near Spain for many years the paella and the tapas are very authentic
It was fabulous meal and time. OSCAR WAS THE BEST, HE ROCKS!!!
We love Boqueria UES! Have been many times for date nights, also great to bring parents or friends. The food and drink selection is great- we were just mentioning on our last visit how we have never had an item we didn't enjoy or wouldn't order again. Love this place!
Wonderful dining experience, delicious small plates best when shared
Great food, fun!
Food was good place was nice, my waitress was real plain if that makes sense no personality whatsoever, made no suggestions very basic. Not polite not friendly.
As usual, Boqueria did not disappoint. Came here for Mother's Day and although it was busy, the service was above par. The only downside was a table next to us - very loud patrons. No fault of the restaurant though. Food was excellent and they did not rush us out of there. Love you guys!
Excellent service Oscar was a delight ! And the brunch paella was delicious like always!!
The manager Franshelly was awesome!! So professional and accommodating. She made our dining experience a great one!
The food was amazing, service was good, but the portions of the appetizers was very very small. If it wasn’t for the paella, we would have left starving.
Fun place, great tapas. A bit on the loud side but overall, recommended.
My table had the BEST waitress, Simone! Not only was she incredibly friendly and spent some time talking to us, her service was ON POINT. No cup reached empty at that table. The food was also very delicious and if I wasn't so full of what I had eaten I would have stayed for more. Can't wait to go back and try the steak and eggs. Hopefully, Simone will be there!
What a great place to experience Catalan Spanish Tapas I
With a fantastic vibe, great service, a bottomless brunch that’s worth the price and super tapas.
Nice surprise from many of the formal places on the UES and a fresh idea for meeting up with others!
Try the blistered shishito peppers ,delicious Spanish paprika’d brava brava, the usual delicious croquettes, and the octopus appetizer is another winner.
Good red and white sangrias, a powerfully spicy Bloody Mary for brunch as well.
Waiter was awful. Food took about an hour, we thought it had been forgotten. We had gotten our check without receiving a dish and the waiter was aggressive with us. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
This was our second time here and we were a bit disappointed. Very noisy place by way of the acoustics and crowd-why add very loud music? Food was good. They were out of 2 beers listed which they didn’t know about until after orders were placed. Good wine choices. Menu needs a bit of an uplift.
Not rushing back.
The food & wine were good (we had the mushroom flat bread, romaine lettuce/hazelnut salad and the eggplant labne dish) but the service was sub par. As the restaurant filled up, service was sloppy and way too pushy. It also didn't help the hostess was extremely rude to us - we actually watched her make a nasty comment to our server when we politely asked to move to the other side of the restaurant. There's really no point to be treated this way - Pio Pio is right around the corner, same food vibe/tapas style, cheaper & better service. Sadly, I won't be returning.
This place is always a solid choice. We live nearby and go frequently. I did notice a difference in service level with this trip - we were having a quick bite with no alcohol and just a few tapas. The server did little more than throw the food on the table and ignore us until we were ready to pay. Very difference expertise than I get with drinks and a leisurely meal. The food is so good, but what I order should not dictate the service.
While the food was delicious and ambiance great, the service was absolutely unacceptable. We were served by 3 different waiters and waitresses and waited 30 minutes on a dessert dish that was never served. We eventually chose to leave – after paying for the dessert but never having it served to us. We were thoroughly disappointed with the overall experience, as this was one of my favorite restaurants in NYC.
Great food and environment! Our server wasn’t the nicest but rest of the staff seemed friendly. Service was efficient, but not personable or warm.
The food is great. The place is incredibly noisy. Wait staff is good. All the women wear black dresses if you like that crowd. But go for the food when you don't really want to talk to your friends.
We had excellent service, started at happy hour had drinks which were excellent and the Tapas was so good. We had Shrimp in hot olive with garlic, Octopus, Tortilla finished with the Mixed grill Hanger steak, Chorizo, Ibé́rico 'Secreto', french fries, garlic allioli.
This is our new favorite! Will try Brunch this weekend
Great food and all you can drink brunch.
Everything was DELICIOUS! and our waitress was wonderful. The bacon wrapped dates were incredible
Great place. Food was delicious. Good selection. Loud during “happy hour”. Very well decorated. Comfortable searing. Gracious staff
