We went for a business dinner, and we had a great experience. The mood was lively and definitely a local crowd. The food was great and the price was good. The small plates made for an adventure for the palate. Great value on the wine as well.
This is the second visit here for me, and I recommend it for something different.
Had a great experience the other night. Friendly and attentive staff. Joseph the manager stopped by the table to make sure we were having a good time. Food came out fast and drinks were wonderful. Will definitely return and bring more friends. Thank you for an unforgettable evening!
Excellent brunch choices. A la carte orders were plenty of food and absolutely delicious.
I cannot say enough good things about this place! Tasty food, great service, awesome atmosphere. Very good with gluten knowledge. I was able to enjoy far more dishes than I expected, and the charcuterie plate is worth making the trip for alone.
Excellent server. Delicious brunch items.
Great date night spot. My boyfriend and I shared a pitcher of sangria and 3 tapas dishes. Was fun trying different foods and each dish was delicious. Highly recommend the lamb and the patatas bravas.
I really like this place. Unusual
Cocktails and the food is a bit different and delicious. Service is always exceptional. Happy hour is fun too. Went for a business lunch this time so we went early because it can be a bit loud.
This was our first visit to Boqueria but won’t be our last! We were seated right on time. Our server was great - we asked for recommendations and our first round of tapas were so good, that we basically let him steer our orders for the rest of the night. Everything was great. Do not miss the bacon wrapped dates and even if you’re full, the answer to “would you like an order of churros for dessert?” is YES.
Jennifer was amazing! She was an outstanding server and seems to genuinely enjoy her work! A pleasure!
Gambas al ajillo, cheeses and charcuterie board, patatas bravas, tortilla española are my favorite on the menu!
Brunch was great, bottomless drinks and food! Service was excellent, fun ambiance, great for groups.
Years ago, I used to love coming here for the bottomless brunch. The menu was extensive and the service excellent, particularly with large groups. I thought it a great value for ~$45 per person. Not anymore.
The current menu is very limited and omits bacon, which was one of my favorite former options. On our visit this weekend, we were seated promptly but it took nearly 30 minutes for the first food (a boring romaine salad) to hit our table. Food then came out at a decent clip, but would have preferred to order exactly what we wanted and pass on certain items instead of their system where they send out one of everything and then you get to order more of anything you'd like. Our server was very busy and, though I could tell he was trying to be attentive, was clearly overwhelmed and forgot about some of our requests for additional food and drink over the course of the service.
As for the food, the highlights were the chicken tenders, patatas bravas, and steak and eggs. The pan con tomate was very dry. The sangria tinta was tasty and not too sweet. Overall, I'd recommend going to Agora on 17th Street for a better atmosphere (note: Boqueria is an extremely loud restaurant during brunch) and more diverse menu.
Finally, the bathroom situation is unfortunate in that there are simply not enough single-use bathrooms, so there is almost always a substantial line at peak brunch time.
I'll try the Penn Quarter location eventually, but I won't be back to Dupont anytime soon.
Boqueria is the place to meet friends over a pitcher of Sangria.
Inattentive waiter and very average tapas - nothing that would provoke us to return
My friend & I each ordered a salad. Although the salads were delicious, for $18 each, the portions were a little small for the hefty price.
Excellent value for the price. Very good, fresh food, nice preparation and presentation. We especially liked the steak and eggs, the meatballs and the French toast. Top notch service. Great brunch choice— we’ll definitely return,
This place was amazing and I cannot praise it enough!!!! We had such a great time!!!! I can’t wait to go back.
We loved Boqueria. I felt like I was back in Granada, Spain. Exceptional tapas and service!!!! When our server learned we were celebrating our 1st month of marriage, she brought us champagne which was very sweet. We will be back!!
Love the food and service is great. The tables are very close together, and it's noisy - which can make it hard to converse.
I love their fixed prize menu. The peppers, roasted potatoes with aioli, calamari, spinach with raisins and pine nuts, and gambas were delicious. And the perfect ending—churros with hot chocolate is to die for.
I love this combination that I ordered the same dishes at Boqueria Penn Quarter.
We visited Boqueria for NYE, which included bottomless tapas and drinks for a fixed price. It was lively inside, and they even gave us hats and tiaras! The tapas were good-not mind blowing-but given the fixed menu and occasion, our expectations were met. Service was generally great, albeit a little slow at times but still understandable. I would totally go back to Boqueria for a regular dinner and try out more dishes!
What a great experience for NYE! We paid $95 each for about 11 tapas and unlimited beer, wine, sangria and cava. We spent about an hour and a half there and felt as though we got a perfect amount for the price we paid. Not to mention we were full for hours after. Great food, great service, great NYE vibe.
Far too expensive, even for New Years Eve. We were NOT told it was a set menu and the price was ridiculous.
Gratuity was also set at 20%, therefore no option.

Four of us had a late lunch there and each had something different from the menu. We all thought the food was very good and agreed that the service was excellent--prompt, polite and unobtrusive.
Our server was such a doll. Food is always good. ALWAYS. I love that it's very consistent between all restaurants in DC & NYC. We even bought their cookbook which was only $35 .. GET IT!
Food was fantastic and the service was great. Highly recommend. Unfortunately a very loud and crude patron was sitting close by which somewhat tarnished the experience. However, this would not prevent me from going back as this was an anomaly. Great restaurant!!!!
We had a family celebration and we were 9 people so we picked the chef menue and it was really really good ! Some plate we wish were bigger but in general it was nice
Great food and place.
Nice little spot, we went for happy hour and there were great specials. Not sure if I would go outside of happy hour though, as the price is not worth the value, at least in the bar area seating. At full price this spot could become prohibitive for what you get from it. But overall a good spot, just depends on what you are looking for.
I love tapas. The food was wonderful especially the scallops. There was enough food for two people and the flan was to die for!
Such a fun place for Christmas eve. Lots of choices. Our server was terrific....pleasant but not hovering
The food is exceptional at Boqueria. We love the small plates for sharing. Cocktails are a little bit upscale and delicious. Not your average concoctions. The restaurant and bar are busy so make a reservation or expect to wait. Our waitress was very nice and the service was great. We’ve been for a special event and happy hour. Both were excellent.
My husband went there recently for our wedding anniversary and had just a fantastic time. The managers and the wait staff were so incredibly helpful and the food was absolutely delicious. We will definitely we going back! The tasting menu was magnificent!
I came to Boqueria for brunch with my very good girlfriends and loved it. The food was fantastic and the service was wonderful.
The food was delicious! We had cheese, jamon and very good wine.
Great food knowledgeable and friendly staff
Just a spectacular trip to Spain every time. Boqueria is consistently fantastic.
The menu changed, so the new options were so basic and expensive.
There was too much noise and the music was too loud

Boqueria Dupont was a mixed bag. The servers were all very nice and service was efficient. But many of the dishes were way too salty and the prices are fairly high for the size of the portions. The restaurant is very noisy and I had to struggle to understand the conversation with my son. If you live or work in the area it is worth going to, especially for the happy hour, but I would not make a special trip.
