Boozy Tea Room
Each evening at 5pm, our lounge undergoes a magical transformation into the Boozy Tea Room, a one-of-a-kind gathering place where guests can enjoy specially crafted, tea-infused cocktails, delicious bites, and even a few naughty surprises that are the perfect complement if you are joining us for the show, Magic Mike Live or just to relax in with friends for some drinks.
The ambience was nice and the staff were great, however, there were three of us and you can only have the afternoon tea in portions of two! So if we'd have wanted a decent serving we would have had to order tea for four - how ridiculous is that. The nibbles themselves were OK, however I'd lose the quinoa salad 'bites' and the Unicorn Lollipop was far too big and sickly. It served its purpose but I wouldn't go again, the choice of cocktails was very limited too. It didn't live up to my expectations sadly
Booked this for my daughter and myself to have tea for two before we attended magic mike live, food was outstanding, staff too, thankyou
Lovely food, but value for money was not so good. Very expensive for what we got.
Beautiful and delicious it was a last minute booking that we didn't regret the cocktail was refreshing and the food devine
Brill service! Whole night was made amazing, Especially impressed by the service of Linor, showed us around and took us to our seats!
Nice start to our night before we went to a show would recommend it to others
Was really disappointed with this experience and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. We had booked for three people however we could only order afternoon tea for 2 or 4 people. We were advised it wasn't possible to order for 3 as it comes on a stand however there was lots of room to add on extra for 3 people. The description of the cocktails was very vague and for what it was definitely not value for money. On the plus side the staff were lovely and really helpful.
Barman said we could sit where we wanted to even though told him we had reserved, we were then moved by waitress even though there was only one other table there, so quiet was approached 4 times asking what we wanted even though had asked for more time, was told probably wouldn't like the cocktail I had ordered as was strong whisky leaving me feeling patronised, hardly any food on afternoon tea selection, wrong cocktail brought over for my friend, begrudgingly made correct one and left wrong one sitting on back of bar should have just been given us that as well and was asked to pay as soon as food was brought over saying it was casino rules, 12.5% tip added so over £6 paid in tip, we had to go and get our own water from bar just an overall bad experience for somewhere that is expensive and supposed to be a bit of luxury before seeing show
Honestly one of the best bar experiences we’ve had!
We pre-booked a table before going to see magic mike as we had a disabled person in our party. Everything was fully accessible and the staff couldn’t do enough for us!
After the show we were waiting for others to join us where we were shown back inside by staff who got us a table instantly.
Cocktails and wine were what we expected from London. The service was exceptional!
For cocktail lovers I recommend the “Born and Bred in an English Garden”. It’s divine!
At first it was a nice ambiance but it was very quiet and we felt like we could not laugh too loud. Not all cocktails are made in cups n saucers, only mine came in a tea pot and mu sisters came in a normal champagne glass. I was annoyed that they added 12.5% service onto the bill when it was not mentioned at booking or on any of their menus etc. It was very pleasant but a bit too quiet and pricey for what you got. But the decor and service was good - all be it you paid for that too!!! Would not rush back.
Food wasn’t too fantastic and the choice of spirits was very limited if you didn’t want a cocktail. Probably wouldn’t go back nor recommend.
Booked a table for before Magic Mike 10pm show but were the only people in there!! The decor was lovely but there was no atmosphere which meant we didn’t stay! Shame. The cocktail menu looked ok and prices to be expected for central London.
Really liked the renovation the bar has had under Magic Mike. The food is very limited now and the removal of hot bar snacks is a shame and probably a missed opportunity. The themed cocktail descriptions were very strange and difficult to understand flavour differentiation so at £12 a pop we were discouraged to order them and the waitress couldn't help with a recommendation so I reverted to a regular cocktail. The dancers go into the bar too which was great.
Lots of fun pre- and oost-show and def worth booking!
Lovely tea and cocktails prob could of done with more sandwiches but was really pleased with the mix . Really great friendly service
I booked a table at The Boozy Team room for a pre-Magic Mike afternoon tea. We were directed to our table when we arrived and offered the menu. We ordered a bottle of champagne and the afternoon tea for two which was really lovely and very filling. The staff were happy to take photos for us and checked up regularly to make sure we were happy and informed us of when the show was about to start so that we had enough time to pay the bill and find our seats in the theatre. Next time I'm in London I will definitely return!
Great fun venue! Food and service all very good! Perfect place to meet in Town.
Service was excellent. We had high tea and cocktails. I have had better high teas at other establishments but having said that this was very tasty. The hot cocktail was superb and could have drank that all evening. Lovely place for our pre entertainment and special occasion. Would definitely recommend it and would certainly do it again.
Great place to meet before a show ...prompt service ....helpful staff
Went here before Magic Mike show, and it was great food and drinks, with dancers from the show popping in for a drink between shows. Would recommend for pre-show cocktails, they were great.
A very nice room with comfy seats. I place you can get away from all the casino/bar hustle and bustle and pre theatre crowds.
The staff are friendly and polite.
However, over priced drinks and the afternoon tea was very poor for the extortionate cost.
The decor is beautiful, the cocktails were yummy and reasonably priced. We came back after the Magic Mike show to see some of the cast sitting in there which was a nice surprise. A lovely gesture from the host was she surprised my friend with a small cake for her birthday. I lovely venue
We had a table before the Magic Mike show, really helpful staff, food was good, great atmosphere.
Was a last-minute pre magic Mike booking for drinks and snacks. Lovely feel to the place. I have marked it down because on the website there was a promise of surprises during the evening for anyone booking to see the show but there was nothing. We did question it and was told it was a mistake although we only decided to book the bar to see what the surprises were. There was no offer for any money off when we asked, so taking into the account the amount of money we spent there, that was a bit disappointing. I wonder if they have changed the blurb on the site now as lots of people were questioning this. I wish I had said more at the time but I didn't want to ruin our night.
Perfect for a few pre Magic Mike show drinks in beautiful surroundings. Loved the styling and attention to detail. The staff were attentive and friendly. Cocktails were pricey but delicious (£27 for 2)
Went here for pre Magic Mike afternoon tea. Service is very good, you are escorted up to the tea room and all staff are extremely helpful and pleasant. We were disappointed with the afternoon tea - not enough of anything and some things were just inedible as there is too much emphasis on boozy rather than actual food. Music was far too loud which made conversation impossible at times - someone did realise and turn it down but within minutes the volume crept back up again - seats are low and deep and no cushions so not very comfortable really. Think if we went again we'd skip the afternoon tea and just head to the bar to soak up the ambiance and watch the casino.
Great bar with a nice atmosphere. Food was delicious and the cocktails were great!
Booked this as a pre-show warm up but was more of an empty room experience. Lovely place but no atmosphere to "complete the Magic Mike Live" show, as was suggested in the advertising. The cocktails were tasty and looked nice but were small and expensive. My nan would have liked it, but I'm afraid it left me cold.
Lovely experience would recommend boozey tea rooms
Good food good service.
Good price for the afternoon tea, but cocktails are a little pricey if your from outside of London you'll notice this more.
Also don't forget a service charge will be put on the top.
loved the boozy tea rooms, the ambiance was great and I loved the them. the service was great at first but we were then forgotten about and it wasn't really that busy at the time. when 1 if the waiting realised they did apologise and were very chatty and friendly. this is my only critism.
it was a great addition to the magic mike tea rooms a little pricey for someone who is an out of Towner but I enjoyed the evening as treat
Went here with a friend before going to magic mike live. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The cocktails were very nice.
Had a wonderful pre-show experience enjoying the Boozy Afternoon Tea followed by two lovely Mocktails. The staff were very friendly and helpful. All in all, the service was excellent! Will definitely be going back again for Magic Mike in January!
The Boozy tea room was a great place to visit for a pre-show drink. The drinks were of exceptional quality and we also ordered the platter to share, which was like an afternoon tea. Food was also of great quality.
All staff were friendly and welcoming and seemed genuinely interested in how we were enjoying the food and drinks.
The setting is cosy with atmospheric lighting and nicely decorated.
Overall a great experience and will definitely be returning.
top top atmosphere lovely polite friendly staff great food loved it will definately go back 😁
venue is very opulent ,lovely atmosphere and very friendly helpful staff. However very expensive for the food which was not even very tasty. more like frozen cheap bites.
I was keen to try what can be best described as evening afternoon tea. We went for the food which was £32 for 2 people. This had sandwiches, salad, hot food and dessert. It was all very tasty and good value. The cocktail on the other hand which was on the other side of the menu was very overpriced. It was £15 per cocktail and having tried more cocktails around the world than I can count I can say this cocktail was worth £8 at best, it was okay but very average and I just didn't see the price tag as justified.
The venue was nice and it was buzzing, so would definitely recommend on that front, but one thing I found weird is that as soon as we placed our order despite having booked in advance and being seated we were prompted to either pay now or open a tab. It didn't feel like an afternoon tea or restaurant experience it felt more like a bar experience from that front.
It is worth the try, especially for a nice picture but skip the cocktail!
Food was very nice but could have done with a little more. Cocktails ridiculously overpriced at £15 each.
We had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The staff, food and drink are all wonderfull. We would highly recommend and will certainly be back again.
We had a beautiful cocktail here but felt that £15 was overpriced. The bar itself has a beautiful interior and the ambiance is lovely. The cocktail was exquisite but feel that £8 was what it was worth. (I gave the food a 5 as had to give something to submit, the food in the Heliot Steak house definitely gets a 5, but did not eat here).
