Told there was no food on the menu other than burgers. Was then served a beef burger with bacon and I don't eat bacon! I ordered a chicken burger. My partner then ordered the most expensive burger on the menu (£20!!!!) And it came without some of its contents! Waited an hour for food because they seem to prioritize 'bigger tables' than anyone else. Food was not bad (when we got our right orders) overall won't be going back

We came yesterday as a group of 4 and I’m gutted to say we didn’t have the best experience. Our booking was for half past 8, we were taken straight away, sat down and was told someone would be over to take our drinks order. We then decided on our drinks, however it was 20 minutes before someone came to take our order. Row was our server and i absolutely cannot fault them! Apologised for the delay, was very cheery and had great banter. After our drinks were ordered it was a further 20 minutes before we received them. Understandably it was a busy Friday night, however we only had the chance to get one drink as we waited so long to be served and then had a booking elsewhere. All 4 cocktails we did have were beautiful though! Row was amazing and deserves a raise! We would come back as it was great value for money and cocktails were good.

It was our second time here and it was fantastic both times. We made a very last minute booking and were delighted to get a space. We went at a quiet time and were served very quickly by lovely staff. The whole place was very clean and chill.

Absolutely superb from start to finish. Excellent staff; friendly, professional and efficient. Great choice of food at reasonable prices. The food when it came was superb. An awesome quirky restaurant that we went to off a recommendation and I in turn recommend you go. Well done to all the team at The Boozy Cow!

Booked table for a quieter time, shown to table and waited for a while before our server appeared. Ordered one portion of loaded fries and two drinks which came pretty quick and server was very attentive after this and can't fault her at all. Server told us we had an hour left so we ordered another drink and again got it fairly quick. Never saw our server again after that. Sat for nearly the whole hour before someone came to tell us they needed it back at which point I asked for the bill. We had finished long before this though, but I was being petty due to the lack of service after being told they needed it back in an hour and decided to stay on the table until someone came to see us. Felt like there was a lack of staff on for a Saturday afternoon.

£10 lunch was good value, if you're looking for a bite to eat with a soft drink for ten pounds. Quirky place, definitely more for the under 30's.

I've been here before and food and service were great. This time we had no complaints about the drinks but we waited 80minutes on our food after ordering and it still hadn't arrived so we walked out. It wasn't that busy although they did keep telling us a table of 16 had arrived before us and that what was causing the delay but I don't think a burger, a hot dog and chips should take that long. Very disappointed as we were looking forward to it.

Unfortunately when there is a large booking like that, there is a longer wait for food if they do order before you arrive; but that should have been stated upon your arrival so we are so very sorry that this was not made clear. We hope you will give us another chance to redeem ourselves back to the standards of your first visit!

The food was amazing, both me and my boyfriend agreed these were the best burgers we’d had! As a veterinarian I loved that there was three burgers for me to choose from, not just the usual one. The drinks were fab and we loved the staff created drinks competition, that was a nice touch. Service was fantastic, all the servers were friendly and made sure we had a great evening. Will definitely come back when we are back in Edinburgh!

food was great and the service was good, friends had brought in a cake to bring to the table for my boyfriend’s birthday and they did not bring it over after we waited for a while after finishing our food. Overall it was good

Great wee place for a burger and a beer! Really helpful staff with a good attitude and the burgers are very tasty! Not cheap by any means - we’re talking London prices, but it is the centre of Edinburgh, I suppose.

Burger and chips were both overcooked. Only two members of staff were on. Pretty poor all round. For two people the bill came to 75 quid, wasn't really value for money at all.

Saw some videos of this place on tik tok and so glad we booked a table, the staff were friendly and the food was incredibly good, the best loaded fries I’ve ever had! Our cocktails were amazing too, the watermelon cooler is my new favourite! We will be booking again when we are next back in the city
