   Took friends, unlike last friends I took who were up on holiday and came back next day with more people ! They’re from Edinburgh but I doubt they’ll return. Food lovely as always but service disappointing … Had booked, shown to table in small side area - not a fan, lacking in atmosphere and we ended up in there by ourselves after the few tables had left. Had to ask for a menu for each of us, not enough serviettes brought, normally water replenished as standard, had to ask for the quirky snout bill thing, part of the usual enjoyment… no one else in the small area was offered - thought it was standard. Server said she only does one day a week, don’t see what that’s got to do with anything 🤔 Anyway, few small things but enough to disappoint. Drinks guy lovely, did pay the service charge so others didn’t suffer. Such a shame ….

   Fantastic welcome, attentive staff throughout visit. Good absolutely delicious and service was quick. Can’t recommend enough.

   Great food and service. The atmosphere fits the name of the establishment very well. Great selection of drinks and cocktail! The only thing that me and my guest believe that could make the cocktail better was remove some of the ice. Less ice, more of the actual drink.

    Staff are lovely and the food is good pub fare. Can get really loud, so be prepared for that!
