Service was less than what I expected
I had to ask for a plate to eat appetizer
Asked for bread /rolls for my salmon and they brought me toast.
Not appealing or appetizing at all
Will not be returning
Wonderful food and service!
Ambience was great also.
Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Waiter was great. Service staff, great.
It was a nice experience for my friend and I.
A room without an identity.
We had a $25 off email for lunch. I live in the neighborhood and we could not have been more disappointed in the new Lettuce Entertain you restaurant.
It was mostly empty so it was inexcusable that we had to ask a few times for water. Then the food was overpriced and tasteless. A $20 tuna Nicoise salad was small and very disappointing. It literally had one olive and about two green beans cut up and dressing was totally tasteless. We asked for bread as did the lady at a table near us who also had an incredibly tiny salad. Eventually we were brought what looked like a piece of white store bought bread toasted with a long explanation that made no sense by the waiter as to why they don’t serve bread.
Took forever to get ice tea.
This place needs to revamp their menu and prices for lunch in the neighborhood.
Go to nearby Third Coast Cafe. A much better reliable great neighborhood place for lunch.
If Booth One is supposed to be a special occasion lunch, it totally misses the mark. Sorry.
At least we were relieved to have had $25 off.
Hope to see some improvements here.
Quiet and good fare
The food was absolutely great and the staff was professional and very helpful. This is finally a neighborhood gem to be proud to have.
First time since the Pump Room redo. Formal look and ambiance. Some main courses were great, others/Duck were disappointing. Appetizer's were good all the way around, and most desserts, we had 5 were great, but the creme brulee was less than average. I expected more than what we received based on what Lettuce Entertain has done in the past.
The staff at Booth One was outstanding. Everyone was friendly and most helpful. Our party of six enjoyed a variety of appetizers, entrees and desserts. Each was beautifully presented, and most important, absolutely delicious. We enjoyed the fact that the six of us could talk comfortably while dining even as the dining room filled with guests. We have talked about our evening at Booth One for days and have reserved another business dinner in May. One couple in our group are planning to celebrate their Anniversary at Booth One in July.
Mark, our server, was excellent!
I hadn't been here since it became Booth One; I visited The Pump Room many, many times. Booth One is a worthy successor! We were celebrating my friend's birthday and are very glad we chose to come here. The vibe is sophisticated, yet relaxed. The bar service was superb: friendly and knowledgeable. The table service was equally as terrific. Our waiter was attentive, friendly and professional. My friend and I both thoroughly enjoyed the Booth One salad; I had the chicken as an entree & she had sea bass. We were both extremely happy with our choices. The side of asparagus we ordered was prepared in delicious manner. We are both eager to return!
Very disappointed. Portions very, very small. Asked for bread and was brought a small bowl with a few rye crisps. Prices are way too high for what you get.
We both found our server to be condescending and couldn't answer our question about having a wedding there!
Everything was incredible. The duck was overcooked, but when I mentioned this to the server, he quickly apologized and insisted I order something else. I ordered the lamb instead, and it was INCREDIBLE
Delicious and fun
This was our second visit. Food is exceptional and prompts revisit. Service staff is polished and personable. The wait between courses was a little long even for us who like a non rushed dinner. First visit was perfect and controlled by server.
everything was cold. The waitress was completely uninterested in whether the food was prepared to our liking . The steak was over cooked and she had no idea. Had she come back and taken 2 seconds to look, she would have seen that it was overcooked! The appetizer was also cold. We ordered and the food showed in 3 minutes or less. I have the impression it was all sitting under a warmer lamp in the kitchen. Awful. Deserve a refund!
Poor service, overcooked and late entrees. Cold port? What's up with that? 360.00$ for dinner for 3. , Sea urchin doesn't work for ceviche. Small portions. Server NEVER checked back to see how food was. Slow service at 5:15?! My 32 dollar Beef Wellington had about a 5 oz. undercooked filet in it. Steak Diane ordered med rare, came out bloody. When Sent back, it returned 10 minutes later, same dish that they had flashed, so now it's nice and dried out and overcooked. Dessert was best part- chocolate coconut cake.
We were pleased with everything but our server. He was not as attentive as you would expect from this restaurant. Waited too long to come to take our order, did not refill wine glass.
We did see other servers be more attentive with their guests, folding napkins, refilling glasses, becoming available after each course. Things you would expect at a recreation of The Pump Room.
As mentioned above, other servers were up to the task and otherwise from the reception to the food, we were pleased.
Chop salad was fair. You need to do more with it to make it tastier and visually more exciting. The waiter was not my best experience but I would give it another try. Only there for lunch. Would try for dinner
I love this restaurant.
The service was outstanding. The waitstaff was engaging, attentive and had a great sense of humor. They made our lunch experience fun. The truffled scrambled eggs were ok, flavor was good, but didn’t have that fluffy scrambled texture. The tuna in the Nicoise was good, but I prefer more traditional Niçoise salad. The lemon napoleon was delicious.
Service was slow. Salad came before wine or bread. After complaining service was corrected
I wouldn’t go back on a dare.
A bit pricy. Had lunch there. Lobster Louie salad and a green salad and one club soda. $54.00 without tip.
Enjoyed our Birthday celebration for a wonderful friend. She'd been here in the past and appreciated the "future".
My husband and I had a wonderful experience. The food and atmosphere were fantastic.
This was a repeat trip to Booth One. We had a wonderful, relaxed meal. The cocktails were great, food excellent and wine list is very nicely balanced across areas and varietals.
We treated ourselves to some special items like caviar--and were most happy.
Staff were attentive but not too close--didn't rush our family celebration meal.
For me, this is at the top of my special occasion downtown options. Prices are in line with what you would expect at a top flight restaurant--but the food is for me much more interesting than the average steakhouse at the same price point. Attention to detail extends to salads and vegetables--always something that I appreciate. We'll be back again.
Second time we went this month.
The waiter spilled a drink on me within the first 5 minutes and never once did a manager come to apologize. We were comped a $8 appetizer which we didn’t want. The drinks took 25 min to arrive and then our dinner arrived before we were even ready. The whole experience was a bust. Poor front of the house doesn’t begin to describe it.
Had a fabulous meal. The service and ambiance were exceptional. Highly recommend.
It is a great place for friends get together. The service was excellent.
Wonderful experience! High recommend, particularly the black truffle scrambled eggs.
Service was great. My high school son wanted fancy dinner but need to satisfy his brother who is less adventuresome with food. Service understood that and was very wonderful.
This was again the place for dining .
The experience starts at the doorway. We were greeted with smile and pleasant word, and "you were here before". We replied, "yes, doing restaurant week".
We were seated in the main area. Access to the sacs requires about four steps down to the space that is well appointed.
Brandy was table side throughout the evening.
She provide great menu know and was very willing to check with the kitchen Staff on food preparation.
The Foie Gras; golden beets; Caesar Salad; Brussels salad; dove sole; chicken frites; Sea Bass; duck legs and thighs ; creamed spinach; and mashed sweet potatoes-creamee .
Each main dish was accompanied by a vegetable to complement the course .
The was just a crowning dinner for a royal family .
The desserts was more than a tasting. From the chocolate chocolate cake Creme Carmel .
The Birthday writing on the cake was well appointed.
We loved our dining experience at Booth One. The food and service are outstanding.
The surroundings and atmosphere are elegant. It truly is a wonderful place. I had
the duck and my husband had beef wellington. We also had the large salad, a side of
two sides of potatoes. We were happy with everything. A great place!
My partner and I went for a nice, romantic night out to celebrate Valentine's Day. It was a wonderful experience!!
I came here with my fiancé and waited at the host stand for a couple moments when the hostess finally greeted us with "one second..." That was not what I was expecting from a place like this and It was definitely not a great first impression. Fortunately, the cocktail waitress was very pleasant and brought our drinks without delay while we waited for our table. Our waiter was very nice, but we were unhappy that we waited over 45 minutes for the main course... We ordered a rack of lamb and beef wellington, both medium rare. The food though was exceptional. Overall, I was still glad we came.
Service was terrible, food ok, but not worth the $. At the table next to us, 2 of the 3 guests fell asleep.- that sums it up!
The place has a very cool vibe, upscale and chic. The food was good but the service was disappointing. The server was nicer and super friendly but we were sitting for over a half hour before our drinks came out - our appetizer was on the table before our drinks. Then she only asked if one person wanted a second drink, we had to call her back to table so the rest of us could get more. And then they had issues w the bill. We didn’t complain, just rolled w it but we had 2 different managers come up to apologize for delays and confusion. From LEY we just expect they would have their service together.
