A very relaxing place in the city where there are no large crowds and loud noises to overstimulate me. We were treated like valuable people by our waiter and waitress as we lounged, enjoyed good drinks, food, and conversation with our date. There was an exclusive feel to the service, and we were not rushed out. The ambiance was dazzling, sophisticated, and homey. I look forward to returning.

Very convenient location near Grand Central Station. it felt like we were in a living room with comfortable couches snd chairs. Good (/although limited selection) appetizers & snacks. Bathroom is up a flight of stairs.

Cute rooftop bar space with cozy seating options inside - truffle popcorn was a hit and the drinks were well balanced! You will be seated next to other people outside, so if you’re coming with a large group, try and reserve space inside in case all the benches/small tables are taken outside.

It was such a a beautiful city rooftop experience, but very low key and calm. My friend and I are huge book readers, and this Library Hotel and lounge were perfect for reading, and talking for hours!

Server sat us at a table with 2 other parties while we awkwardly stare right at each other because the set up was like a U shape. They did not even ask us if we were ok joining other parties in that case we would have opted for the inside tables for more privacy and space. Either change to smaller nooks for more privacy or not try to squeeze more people in to sink the overall experience.

The service here is always excellent - such pleasant, helpful, courteous staff. The cocktails are fun and inspired. The flatbread can be prepared vegan for a healthy and delicious veggie-packed option. A marvelous neighborhood rooftop bar.

Truffle popcorn is so good and for all my plant-based foodies, the flatbread can be done deliciously sans cheese! As always, the drinks were marvelous.

Add this to your list of roof bars in Manhattan. Location near Grand Central making rendezvous convenient. Less outdoor space than many other places, but more intimate, with a festive atmosphere. Menu is limited to starters only, should be greatly expanded.

Went there in a Saturday night but grossly disappointed at the service and menu options. This opens up on OpenTable as in restaurants, but it is not. It is a bar with a few appetizers. Also, the directions given by OpenTable were completely wrong (by like 17 blocks in NYC).

I have been there twice. First time outside and it was super nice. Second time inside where the atmosphere was underwhelming mostly due to the music which was much too loud and when asked several times to turn is down a couple notches the management would not listen. If I ever go again, it would only be for the outdoor terrace.

Nice quiet spot for a meetup with friends or even a nice date night. Will definitely recommend. Service was exceptional - waitress was very attentive and made sure we were taken cared of great!

Beautiful rooftop location. Excellent for a date, small groups or medium sized parties. Drinks, service and ambience were fantastic. Great fir locals or tourists (we had both there and everyone loved it.)

If you are anywhere near Bryant Park and don’t stop at this rooftop spot, at any point in the year, you should question your life decisions! Amazing spot with even better service.

It was a moms, friend and local community representative get together. We had a lovely time in the enclosed outdoors space and then at the fireplace. A perfect place for old friends and colleagues to catch up. Great pick for the late 30s early 40s crowd with New Yorkers with kids or serious professionals. And the cost was just right.

If you are looking for a unknown rooftop with amazing ambiance/food/drinks and even better people, Bookmarks is your spot. The cocktails are top notch (and if literature is your thing the names are a treat) and the popcorn is can’t miss!

SO good. The drinks were inspired and fun; ambience was great. They were very safe - checked vaccine status and the staff was fully masked. Everything was pristine. The truffle popcorn is out of this world. Very, very fun intimate spot in NYC for a unique cocktail experience.

I normally love Bookmarks and the host there is so wonderful - he always makes sure everyone is happy. This last time I went, the waitress was very inattentive and forgot two of our orders even though we reminded her a few times. We ultimately had to go ask for some of the items at the bar. The bartender was terrific; the ambience is great and the cocktails were amazing. I think it was just an off night for that one server and will still return but it was a little disconcerting since normally the service there is excellent.
