Bonta del Forno Ristorante
Our server was outstanding, the mixologist phenomenal, the appetizer was outstanding. The main course was less than to be desired. The meat in the lasagna tasted spoiled and when the GM showed up at the table, he wanted to argue about the taste and smell of the food, I know what spoiled meat smells like. My husband took a couple of bites and ask me to taste it because it had a strange taste. I could not even swallow the small bite I took. Too bad. I really wanted to love this place but the smug GM was so unapologetic and uncaring. Doubt we will be back.
The food was great
VERY GOOD ITALIAN FOOD, FRESH INGREDIENTS AND AUTHENTIC FLAVORS
Great food and great service priced right and affordable
The food and its presentation was very good. You can tell that the chef cares about the customers just by looking at the presentation.
Food was okay. Several service issues from start to finish. Was served a turned glass of wine, an entire course we ordered was skipped, and when the bill arrived it wasn’t accurate.
Nice atmosphere! Good apps. Great bread.Entrees very salty. Would try again but salty is an issue that’s concerns me
The service was excellent, food was yummy and the place was pretty! First time, and we will definitely go back for more!!! New restaurant and they did great!!!
Absolutely wonderful. From the moment we walked to the front door to the time we left, we had a positive experience. There’s a sitting area in front of the restaurant with a nice fire pit area. The waitstaff is friendly without hovering over the table. The menu selection was just right. The food was very good. I give it 5 stars. We’ll definitely return for another memorable evening.
Ate here for a quiet anniversary dinner. Everything was great. Food, service and setting. Thanks!!!
This was our first time to eat here. Everything was wonderful and we will be back.
Absolutely delicious food. Taylor, our server , was awesome. I highly recommend. We will be back!
Must get the stuffed mushrooms. We had the shrimp linguine and the classic lasagna. Both were excellent
Great Italian food and great staff. Definitely will be back.... a lot
The food and service was great but our reserved table was at the front room extension which is brighter with views of Hooters and Bass Pro, which was not the best ambiance for a date night where we are spending $150. When I asked about being seated in that area, I was told inside was usually for bigger tables, but once we walked out we notices several two tops and couples sitting at four tops. That kind of sucked.
We will be back though but will be clear that we want to sit inside the restaurant.
Food was good, outstanding calamari and cheesecake. Good wine selection and the cocktails looked great!
We’ll be back!
First of all, the service from our waitress was impeccable. She anticipated our every need. We sampled the eggplant appetizer and everyone agreed is was well prepared and tasty. The three pasta dishes ordered were all well-seasoned, large, delicious servings. Although, the Margarita Pizza missed its mark with no visible tomato slices, but with an abundance of cheese. Our diner rated it as a fairly good cheese pizza.
Complimentary bread is served topped with lots of Parmesan cheese on top and with a little oil. Our table of four agreed that less cheese and an addition of oil with herbs would have been preferred. No sides are served with the entrees. A small side salad would have been a plus. We all would have also liked a little more sauce with our appetizer and pasta dishes. Save room for dessert! They're awesomely delicious.
Overall, it was a wonderful dinner with fabulous service. We will definitely return to Bonta del Forno Ristorante.
I ordered a salad with balsamic vinegarette dressing, but I tasted nothing balsamic in the dressing. It was only oil and it was awful. Also, still no Tanquerray gin. I will not be back.
This was our first time here and definitely not our last. We had the stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer and they were delicious. I would even thing about getting them for my meal next time. My husband I both enjoyed our meals. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. The food came out quickly and was hot and fresh. I loved how the place was decorated as well. We will be back!
Our server was Anna and she was one of the best servers I have had. The veal was delicious and probably the best I have had as well! My husband had the mushroom risotto and it was a bit runny but that was the one and only hiccup in the entire evening! The coconut mojito was delicious as well!
Food was salty bread was extremely hard. Waitress was great but even my husband that lots salt his steak was salty.
I had lasagna. It was very good! I will get it again. I thought it was a little expensive because everything was al a carte. Should have included a salad with the lasagna.
The server and service was wonderful.
I can’t wait to go back and try other dishes.
You can’t go wrong eating here! Best Italian food in Denham Springs and surrounding areas.
Delicious! A bit pricier than most Denham Springs restaurants but we really enjoyed our visit and plan to go back. Bartenders were super personable and quick to check on us. Must try the limoncello cake. Soooo good I had to fight off my husband for my share and he usually avoids sweets.
Very enjoyable experience. I will definitely go back.
We enjoyed this little hidden gem!! The best Chicken Parmesan I have ever had!! We will be back and are so excited to have this restaurant in Denham!!
The food is very good and we love the atmosphere. Thanks to Scott and Thanks to Taylor as well
Finally an upscale restaurant in Denham Springs!
You will love this high quality authentic Italian restaurant!
The waitress was not very knowledgeable about the menu. The restaurant was very nice but we found the prices to be high compared to the quality of food and service. It was Olive Garden quality and service with higher end Italian prices. We were REALLY hoping we would have a nice Italian restaurant close to home. We will continue to make the drive to Baton Rouge.
Wait staff was wonderful. I ate alfredo with chicken & it was delicious, the pasta was light and fluffy & had a fabulous taste. My husband had the red fish & Mr. picky loved it. Very much enjoyed the wine list.
