Inspired by the Japanese Bonsai Tree which is a miniature tree cultivated to resemble nature in a modest space and nurtured with artistic interaction, Bonsaii Tapas & Wine Bar is the ultimate representation of its namesake.
Our cuisine is inspired in International tapas, where everybody will feel welcomed and find something of their taste, putting spin on classic dishes and bringing creative new ones. Our "Secret Garden" is the perfect hidden gem in Midtown East for finding calm in the stress and noise from the city , located walking distance to Central Park and Bloomingdale's and in between some of the most popular avenues (Lexington Ave and Park Ave).

    I went to this restaurant for a friend’s birthday lunch. When I requested a candle for the dessert, the staff kindly prepared a sparkler instead. The food was delicious, and the service was friendly and attentive. This is definitely one of the restaurants I would love to visit again.

    The place very nice, the music was pleasant and not loud, the ambience was so peaceful and quiet. The food was very good and the service excellent. Shout out to Jordan for an amazing lunch.

    The service was awful. The reservation was messed up upon arrival. I had reserved a table for 3, not 10. The first dish took 20 min to arrive, with the remaining dishes served 30 minutes later. This was brought up to the manager as it was unacceptable for the course of the lunch.
