The mashed potatoes were cold, the green beans were hard. Fortunately, the walleye was good. I’ve had better food in the past. Probably won’t go there again for a dinner.
Went to celebrate two birthdays for Brunch. Great to be able to choose from Brunch or regular menu. Food was good and our wait staff was attentive and when a few items were forgotten they were quickly delivered with a smile. It was a nice visit and I always appreciate the fireplace.
Little slow on the service to order. Busy looked to be understaffed for the business
Very disappointed. Paid $28 each and they were out of Prime Rib at 12:30pm for Easter Brunch. Food was cold. Not worth the dollars. Also, paid for unlimited Mimosa’s and the waitress never came back to our table for refills
It was very crowded and noisy. The buffet space was not set up very well. There was no prime rib by the time we sat down. We only saw the seafood setup on the way out of the restaurant. However, our waitress was very good.
Great Easter Brunch! Definitely would go again and recommend to others. Great food, atmosphere and drinks.
We are Bonfire regulars and are huge fan of the Bon-tons and bull-bites. Although, on this occasion we went for Easter brunch. Bonfire holiday brunch used to be much better.
At $28 per person, I expected more choices & better service. The set-up was not explained. No one told us ham, prime rib, and deserts were upstairs at the grill window/counter. We eventually figured it out. The waitress offered bloody Mary's & mimosas as if they were included. They were not. It was $8 or $9 for the one bloody I had. Soda also was not included...another $3 for that. Not until I went up to the "bloody Mary bar" did I realize we missed all the cheese, shrimp cocktail, dinner rolls, etc.
I was also under the impression that there was a "kids buffet". I think that was supposed to be the chocolate chip cookies, French toast sticks and cold syrup. My 14 year old, who still costs $28, was pretty disappointed, as was I, when all he ate was a scoop of strawberries, bacon, and a cookie. That was it! He didn't even go back up for a second plateful. No dessert...nothing. I can only assume the waitress was stretched too thin because she never came back to fill up his empty water glass either.
Once we were done eating, we noticed the table next to us eating eggs benedict and another table ordering it from the waitress. Certainly would have been nice to know that was an option as well. Nothing was spectacular. The meat, eggs, French toast sticks and syrup were all cold. The "bull-bites hash" was so overpowered with green pepper I couldn't even eat it. The garlic mashed potatoes were really good, as was the cold ham. We were packed into the back "fire" room like HOT sardines. There is not enough space in there to seat someone and the end of the table if you are also going to have a 2-top directly behind that person. With tip, this little adventure cost me $82 for brunch with my teenager. Think I'll stick to the Bon-tons and beer for now on.
We went to Bonfire for Easter brunch. The restaurant was jam packed, we were shoved in a corner like sardines, with the need to move multiple people at our table everytime one person needed to get up. The food was fine, although, not always warm (at the buffet).
The service was alright. Not good, not bad.
The cobwebs all along the ceiling I found disgusting however.
Love the flatbread for lunch or supper. Don’t change them.
We come here frequently and usually have a fabulous meal. Did not get lucky this time. Service was good, chef destroyed 2 filet mignon. I ordered it medium rare and it came out medium/medium well: very little pink. Sent it back and the second one was cold with no sear on it, so no flavor at all. The potatoes and veggies were ice cold as they had not been kept warm while remaking the steak. Very disappointing.
The was creative and good. Our waiter was fantastic and made it a great experience as it was a birthday party. Highly recommend
Waited 45 minutes for appetizer. Manager told us the cooks printer was broken so our order was lost. They comped it for us. Waited a while for drinks then had to keep asking for refills for our empty glasses. We asked for a dessert menu. We had a birthday in our party so he got a free ice cream cookie. Waitress brought the dessert menu with his birthday cookie dessert. We waited 10 minutes for our dessert while our birthday guest was eating his. I never got the salad I ordered either!
Still our favorite spot to go, especially for happy hour!
Great food and great prices. Happy hour is a must check out. Staff was friendly and attentive.
Great food at an economical price! We would definitely come back to this restaurant again!
Great experience, our table was ready right away, great food and great service. The kids loved it!
The hostess, Liv, was especially friendly and helpful! She made our night! Food was great! Service was great!
Our beef and shrimp kabobs were not hot and more like room temp.
Always enjoy the food but the music was so loud we couldn’t hear one another.
Reservation was made 15 min before scheduled time and got in and seated right away.
Service & food was memorable.
Fabulous dinner at Bonfire Savage! Our last several visits there have all been great. So nice to able to count on your consistency!
Food for entree was good, appetizer meat was a little tough. Dessert was very good. In all, a good meal, nothing particularly memorable.
Was Valentine’s Day special dinner and all tables had rose except ours. The tablecloth was soiled, we didn’t have silverware and they came and gave our dinner items and said enjoy!! Not sure if they wanted us to eat the pasta with our bare hands. Will never go back!!!
Steak was amazing! Appetizers were amazing! Service was great.
Great food at a great price = great value. Service was great. Brad was a great server! The carrot cake for dessert was a 1 lb delight - too much to eat, but too good to leave even a crumb remaining.
Good food and great service, went for a 50th birthday party. Be sure to have a flashlight app on your phone. Lighting was low, which was great for a relaxed dinner and conversation, but it made it hard to read the menu. LOVED the make your own s'mores at the table for desert!
Nice place to go. It was quiet the night we were there. Menu had a lot of options and the service was great. Good local beer selection as well.
Headed out with a small group for ladies night and had a fabulous time! Even though it was busy we had a reservation and were seated as soon as we walked in. Service and food were excellent!
Family dinner to celebrate birthday
The waitress was great and very patient with me and my 6 children. Food was prepared just how we like it. Great first experience for my kids and I.
Our waiter was great. The food was not. The rot. chicken entree was warm at best not hot, the burger was rare not medium. Wondering if they had new cooks in the kitchen. Very disappointing when paying for a family of five.
Food was bland and unseasoned. Bull bites were undercooked and a weird texture. Only thing good was the green beans and like warm beer. Fireplaces made is sooo hotnit was uncomfortablr.
Notified them of a birthday, no acknowledgement , dirty menus, but good food
Good food good service. Seemed busy for a Friday night!
Went here for New Year's Eve. They were busy when we first got there, not so much by the time we left. They were running some New Year's specials, hubby and I both got the walleye. It was billed as "parmesan crusted". It arrived at our table with virtually no crust and the it was black - laden with pepper. After, we complained, we were told that that was how they make their parmesan crusted version. The fillet was also the smallest I've ever seen. Not good.
Not sure why my son's first name was on the reservation, when they weren't even with us. Hmmm... There were 6 of us, 3 couples, out for dinner on New Year's Eve. After we had our reservations, one of the couples called to check on Happy Hour. She was told that it was until 6:00 that night. She asked again, since it was New Year's Eve. We went early to catch a Happy Hour drink, and we were told us that there was NO HAPPY HOUR that night at all. That was a bummer ..................
Granted it was a cold evening on New Year's Eve but where we were seated it was freezing. It was so cold our entire party had to keep our winter coats on while dining and left our seats to stand by the fire several times. We were disappointed that we were not able to be moved to a warmer location.
It was okay food
Had another fabulous birthday dinner at Bonfire. Our server, Austin, was great and drinks and dinner were outstanding!
