Service was slow and we had issues with apple crisp tasting like green peppers (must be dirty dish) and hamburger came with cheese in error had to send back and it took until the rest of use were done with our food before hamburger came back.

Friday Prime Rib special was great for taste and proportion, but not exactly med. rare, more 'medium'. My wife had the Jambalaya and the chicken was cold and presentation blah, but they comped her meal. Servings are ample, a couple can share an app and one meal. It was very busy, so noise level up, in kind of a cafeteria atmosphere with lots of banquet tables of large groups around us where we were sitting. A less busy night would have been more satisfying perhaps, but then it wouldn't have been Prime Rib Friday. Servers were excellent and stopped in and out not too much, just right. If you want to fill up on comfort food, don't care much about presentation or atmosphere, then it is a good basic family place. We were there after 6pm, but it looked like they had great 4-6pm happy hour options.

Drinks were inconsistent. Meal ordered without peppers came without any seasoning at all. Brisket sandwich ordered without onions, came with onions and no bun! Women's bathroom had a bucket catching a leak with dirty towels in it. Tiles broken and bathroom in general was dirty and in disrepair.

The restaurant was not particularly busy. Despite our reservation, our party of five was seated at a table for four, with a chair added on the end. The tables are crammed very close together, and though my wife was on crutches we were seated at the farthest corner, having to move numerous chairs to get through.

Although the place was not packed, the food took 35 or more minutes. The wood-fired three-sausage pizza was disappointingly bland. The prices are very reasonable, though the menu is notably slim.

The food was fine. The issue I had was that it took over 50 min from ordering to getting our food. I understand things happen, it’s part of life. However, no apology was ever made, and nothing was communicated. Then when we asked if our food was coming soon, we were told “your food is up, it’s in the window now” and then another 20 min went by with no food. A simple explanation, an apology, and keeping us in the loop would have been helpful. The restaurant didn’t seem too busy, was only 1/2-3/4 full. The table next to us was seated, served, ate, and left in the time to get our food.

Service was friendly and on the slow side. That said they were working hard to be attentive once The food was served. The food was tasty, but warm not hot when served. We had the walleye dinner, drunk and dirty steak dinner, flat bread and the jambalaya. The jambalaya received the highest praise. Overall OK experience.

We were there for an 8:15 reservation on New Years Eve, they must have been missing a chef or something . Took us 2 hrs from ordering our food to getting our bill. No comped drinks or appetizer, received our appetizer at the same time as our bill.

We made a reservation at 7:00 on New Year's Eve. When we arrived, we were informed that a cook didn't show up, so food would take at least 1 hour. We waited for our food for 2 1/2 hours- in addition to the 1 hour wait, they lost our order. The good thing was the waiter, brought us complimentary appetizers and cards to occupy our time. The waiter was the only good thing about our visit.

I have never been so disappointed in a restaurant in my adult life. If you are familiar with the Bonfire franchise this location is a far cry from that - looks more like a Cowboy Jacks, hostesses in flannel shirts and jeans decor very bland and the food? Well this is not a special occasion place. It was New Year's Eve and by 5:30pm they were already out of garlic mashed potatoes. In speaking with tables around us we were averaging 1 1/2 hrs to get our dinner and when we got it the baked potato was luke warm and raw in the middle and my $36 filet oscar was not even 3oz, it was luke warm, no bernaise, the crab was cold and the green beans were over cooked - they looked like they had been sitting around all day. I sent my meal back 2x with the same result. From what I understand this is typical for this location.

Worse service we have ever experienced. Reservations at 5pm on New Years EVE, restaurant was only half full, we were seated right away, promptly greeted by the waitress who took our drink orders and when those were delivered she took our meal orders. From there it went all downhill. After waiting for almost an hour for our dinner, no more service by the waitress and empty drink glasses on our table for over 20 minutes I approached a manager to complain who apologized profusely. Our waitress was totally avoiding our table while still serving other tables. Three of our four entrees came out 15 minutes later and it was another 5 minutes before they brought my salad followed 1 minute later by my entree. We did have a different waiter serve our table after that but he also had his own tables to serve. Our original waitress never came back , I laid my credit card on the table to indicate that we were ready to pay and no one paid any attention to it. I finally stopped a different waiter to request our bill, our original waitress then came over to say that the manager credited our entire bill but I had walked away from the manager before she could tell that me as if to say that it was my fault that I didn't know this! I have never experienced such poor service. I can only assume that this was a brand new waitress with very little or no training. I think what happened was that she didn't place our order and then she totally avoided our table out of fear or embarrassment. She never offered an explanation, never apologized. This was a very unfortunate experience in a restaurant that is typically well regarded. The food was very good, I enjoyed the chicken and brisket, wife had fettuccine, girls had quesadilla and a sirloin. I don't know that I will never visit this restaurant again, as I said the food was really good, but one bad experience can really tarnish a reputation.

We were disappointed that we made reservations for NYE, requested a standard table (assumed if the options were standard or high top we wouldn’t get a high top) and was placed at a high top table in the corner of the bar. The restaurant wasn’t even busy and this was the best they could do?

It appeared that they could have used a couple more waiters for this New Years Eve dinner crowd, as service was slower than expected. Our waitress was very good, but had several large tables to accommodate. The food was quite good and was served hot.

Horrible!

Service was so bad, delayed and inattentive.

It was not busy, I’m not sure our server even had another table.

Food was very good. Prime rib was done to my liking and the Medallions were done correctly as well. It seemed a little pricy but food was good quality. Great green beans. Baked potatoes weren't quite done enough.

we had breakfast with santa. I had my grandson and had to wait in a long line for the food. some of the items were not available. It seemed as though you were unable to keep up the
demand of food for the large number of guests
The cookie idea was great. My grandson loved decorating a cookie.
Server was attentive and pleasant

We went for brunch with santa as we do every year. Santa is amazing! However, this year the brunch food, selection, quality was really disappointing. Not much selection. No muffins, breads, rolls. Eggs were cold. We did like that the eggs Benedict were made to order. Price seems to go up for this event each year, but the buffet quality has gone down.

Love this local Bonfire!! BEST happy hour every day - terrific value. Half price apps and $2 off drinks. The Firecracker shrimp, Walleye Fingers and Tequila flaming queso are a must. Food comes promptly, ALWAYS the right temperature, presentation is upscale. The burger/soup or salad and a side for around $10 is also a great value. Bar seating is noisy, but the dining area is nice and quiet. Great that they take reservations. Highly recommend Bonfire - a personal favorite!!
