Pizza was very good,be careful with salad we paid $12 for one and came out and it was so small could have passed for small side salad and supposed to have chicken breast but it came with couple strips of dark thigh meat ,
We had a reservation and still waited over an hour for our food. We had tickets to an event which we were late for. Our server took our order and then did not check on us for over 30 minutes to refill drinks, etc. Prime rib was undercooked and had clearly been sitting under a heat lamp. We will not return.
Drinks were subpar (mojito was tasteless, had to add extra limes and sugar). Happy hour food was great at a good price. Service was slow, but everything arrived and was accurate.
Prime rib tasted old, but loved sitting in front of fireplace.
Service was below average, for example we needed to ask for more water. Server would come to the table with a single beverage and not even ask if anyone else wanted anything.
We waited a long time for our food and the restaurant wasn’t that busy. When we asked where our meals were a few minutes later they came out. One meal wasn’t for our table, the correct meal came out later. My meal was cold but I didn’t send it back since we waited so long. Overall the meal was disappointing.
didn't care for the quac and shrimp stack - shrimp was to have been Cajun and what little of the cut up shrimp there was, it didn't have any flavor.
Web-site said nothing about serving a Easter Buffet and when we arrived at the restaurant was told by Host that the buffet was the only food they were serving. We didn’t stay. Disappointed that the restaurant cannot maintain their website. I’d prefer not to rate them, but don’t have a choice if I want to leave the feedback.
Service was slow, never got utensils, so found them ourselves. Eggs were not tasty. Dessert tray was minimal. I got champagne but not orange juice for my Mimosa.
We arrived at ~6:00 on a Sunday evening, the restaurant was maybe 1/4 full. We ordered our meals at ~6:20 and received our food at ~7:30. At 6:55 we were told a large party caused an issue with our order in the kitchen but it still took 1/2 hour to get our food. There was maybe one or 2 parties that arrived after 7:00 to eat. We don't know what happened but it was ridiculous. We received 50% off our food bill and were in no particular hurry so it wasn't a huge deal at the time but if we were on a schedule, we would have been irate.
Excellent food and great service! Very good happy hour and kids dining deals.
Made reservation for 8 for a birthday dinner. We get there the place its quiet since it was only 5pm. When we entered we waited for 5 to 10 min to talk to the hostess. When we did get someone to meet us at the front of the restaurant we had wait another 10 min for our table to get set up. Eventually 20 min later we got up in left the restaurant. At this place point we were at the restaurant for about 40 min and we still haven’t gotten a glass of water. When we went to the hostess to ask who the waitress was and we would like some drinks. The waitress came over and just gave us attitude and said that we were waiting because she was getting water for another table. This was not true. During this time she sat three to four different tables, answer the phone twice and spent time looking for another worker. I have always enjoyed Axels, but after this experience we will not be coming back. This was suppose to be a special birthday dinner and it was ruined by the lack of attention to a customer. It is unacceptable to have customers wait a 40 min with little to no service.
Service was very slow, our waitress had quite a few big groups so we were left waiting a lot! She did apologize and we knew it wasn’t her fault. First time we’ve ever had poor service! LOVE that we can make reservations!!!
1 1/2 hours to get food. Steak was over cooked
Food was awesome !! Great atmosphere and staff was awesome 👍🤗🤗
Reservations for Monday Night are not needed. Plenty of tables open by fire, I asked to be seated near the fire. Hostess replies that she had cleaned the booth and set up for us in between and bar and the Kitchen. I should have said something. Plenty of open tables near near the fire, just to lazy to put more silverware down. My Food was Great and the apps were tasty! Drunken Sirloin is the bomb.
Everything was indeed excellent, from the food, drinks, service, and atmosphere! We had a great time, and have been recommending it to friends. We will be back, just wish you had weekday bkfst.
So waitress took her drink order and brought our drinks out we ordered our entrees never got our salads had to bring our empty glasses up to order another round at the bar. Then we got our entrees before we ever got our salads. Waitress brought the salads out 10 minutes after we got her on tree. Or did the walleye my husband did not get to full fillets fish was not hot. Had the manager come out in a woman explained she will train her staff better but never offered to kampar Bill or give us anything off the $70 tab. The service was so poor and we will not be back
We made reservation for 18 people the day of a family gathering. Not only were they accommodating, but they were extremely well prepared. Our Server, Kat, did an awesome job considering the size of our group over a dinner rush. The entire family was impressed.
Great restaurant to bring kids to
Was very disappointed in the service, the food was horrible. The advertised special was not available by 6:30. The waitress was dressed inappropriate (messy) we will not return. My steak was like cardboard, it was ordered medium. I never di get my steak sauce. My wind was served in a warm glass.
9 family members went to Bonfire to celebrate a birthday. It was the worse experience. Waitress was extremely slow, never brought beverage refills unless we asked. Food was served cold, when we told a server about the cold food, she grabbed it away, with french fries flying off the plate onto my husbands lap, no apology. Received the bill with no itemized receipt. Won't go back
Bonfire is a decent restaurant, but really only average food. It wasn't bad....i just wouldn't go out of my way for it.
Good food, very quite crazy quite.
Out with wife , daughter and friend, super nice waiter Chris, all good..thxand they took reservations nice fri outing
Excellent services and great atmosphere
I didn’t catch the servers name. She was very good, friendly and on the ball.
I've been to several Axel's/Bonfire and this one was average to mediocre. We love the St. Paul location, and food is great, but the food in Blaine was not great. Service was fine and attentive, but just average food all around. Our friends liked the Walleye, but the Salmon and Jambalaya were nothing we'd order again.
If the food were better I would have really enjoyed the restaurant. However, the food was really not that good and we left feeling like we'd not come back (we had 2 appetizers and 2 entree's and dessert). the dessert and steak were good but the 2 apps, and Cajun past dish were just not that good. Sorry - just didn't seem very good to us.
Our server was very and we really enjoyed everything.
Plastic in food. Plastic in food. Plastic in food.
We celebrated 2 birthdays. Our server was awesome. The food was excellent. Everyone had a great time. Can not wait to go back!
We just got together to enjoy one last meal for the year and had a great time. The service was outstanding and the food was even better. I would recommend this restaurant to any of my friends and family many different food choices and everything we had was great with large portions.
Great service! !!! Great food! Great dinner to bring in the New Year with the family.
Our entrees were overpriced. And we had an unfriendly waitress.
It was a great experience right from the beginning! It was so easy to make the reservation on line, get confirmation and a calendar event that could be shared with the group!!! Service, food, ambiance was excellent! Most of the people in our party had not been to Bonfire before, they loved it!!!!
Our server was very attentive and made our experience very special after seeing it was an intimate family retirement lunch for husband when I had made the reservation! White linens on the table in front of the fireplace and surprised with a special complimentary desert :)
I enjoyed a delicious salmon dinner, I would highly recommend it. My date has the bull bites & shrimp. The steak eas melt in your mouth. The shrimp were good but coyld have used a little more flavor. The green beans were amazing. I wish, I would have remembered our server's name. She was super sweet & helpful about explaining the menu. I will definitively come back.
Ordered bull bites with no Cajun & medium well...presented to me medium rare...sent back to cook longer...ate the blah shrimp & luke warm baked potato in the mean time...when bull bites came back & I tried one, had Cajun seasoning. Was given free dessert.
We 1st ate here for Thanksgiving, Turkey was so moist decided to come back for the regular menu. I had the Rotisserie Chicken & BBQ Brisket combo, everything on the plate tasted great. Husband had the Walleye fillets, he said it was great also. Will definitely be back.
Enjoy going to this restaurant, always good food & good ambiance.
