Great brunch, nice outdoor patio, attentive service.
Food was just ok, disappointed in the biscuits but our mimosas were tasty. Service was slow and not very customer service friendly.
Noisy. Bar service slow
Really great for apps and a place to connect with friends.
Waitress was wonderful! Food was SPECTACULAR! Get the flatbread on the brunch menu!
We were celebrating Glenn’s birthday, and our server Amanda helped make it special with her attentive service and personable style.
Second time to Bonfire and it did not disappoint. We sat on the sidewalk and it was lovely. Server was attentive but not hovering. Food was great and OMG, the frozen mimosas were wonderful. Ambiance is nice too a cute little place on Carson. Definitely put Bonfire on your radar.
Second time at this place. Sat outside again. Menu, food and drinks are great. Staff is excellent. They accommodated my wife’s dietary needs (Vegan-ish).
Overall it’s a nice spot with tasty food. Very oily but it’s comfort-like food. Our server was really great but the drinks took FOREVER… we waited for 25 minutes on water and our drinks from the bar. We had our entrees but no drinks. They were great about food allergies tho.
Fun atmosphere and great service in this neighborhood restaurant/ bar. They even had an organic wine. Salmon delicious and Cauliflower Mac was over the top delicious.
Love the vibe and the food at this restaurant. My daughter who has celiac had great gluten free options at this restaurant, including a cake for dessert that was naturally gf. Everything we had at this restaurant was delicious. And we had great service.
We love it here. Not a big menu but what they have is delicious.
So delicious! A little pricey and a LOT of bread-based items. We had the Ginger BBQ Pork Belly Lettuce Wraps = to die for! and a frozen Aperol Spritz which was delicious for appetizers. We shared the Kale Salad and the Fried Chicken and Pickle Flatbread as well as their lowest priced white wine. They were all decent and unique. We enjoyed the Caramel Croissant Bread Pudding which was very sweet but delicious and I ended with an espresso martini. Overall, great experience for a $125 date night.
Loved Bonfire and will definitely return on our next visit to Pittsburgh!
Great place with a fun atmosphere. Drinks were tasty and the food was delish! Highly recommend.
Food was delicious, server was a little standoffish-ish.
Sat at the bar. Really good food and service. We used to eat at Avenue B, and were in the South Side for an event and decided to try this. While not exactly the same restaurant, we were pleasantly surprised.
Interesting menu with excellent service. I definitely recommend going here!
Bonfire was on my post Covid19 restaurant lit. Not sure we're post yet but we went. It was awesome. We loved the broccoli and corn apps. The Flatbread 🫓 with street 🌽 and chorizo was amazing. Go now!!!!
We sat outside. The music speaker was right over our table. We asked that it be turned down a bit but I never felt that it was adjusted. Other than that, great food and service. Too bad location is on the Southside. I heard morning news that there had been a stabbing right at 21st and East Carson sometime that night. I probably won’t be back.
Excellent food. Combination of comfort food and fresh and healthy items. Reasonably priced.
Phenomenal food! Flavorful and beautiful brunch. Probably the best brunch we’ve had in a very long time.
Music is loud. Very distracting
Hard to have a conversation
We were disappointed by the indifferent wait staff. With COVID cases rising rapidly in the Pittsburgh region, the staff was not wearing masks like most other food establishments. The noise level was very high for a nearly empty restaurant. We were told they could not do anything about it. The food was good, but pricey for what you get. I don't see this restaurant surviving.
A perfect evening sitting outside. Our server, Michael, was wonderful, and we didn't wait long at all for our did to be served. The mussels were tender, and in a light tomato sauce, and the Mushroom mac and cheese was to die for, creamy, cheesy, with a crisp browned top. The Cuban Fatty was toasted to
Amazing food and service, wow! Thank you for this experience, definitely recommended.
Wonderful brunch. Great entrees and bloody marys.
I wish the starters ( Brussels and biscuits) were larger portions and the omelette seemed slightly overpriced for being filled with corn and tomatoes. The presentation was fantastic and everything tasted great
Had brunch and loved everything - especially the playlist! Will definitely be back!
The food was amazing. I never finish a meal and literally ate everything! I will definitely go back.
We were seated exactly at our reservation time, food was great, service excellent, love the outdoor dining!
Appetizers were delicious. Meal was just average and drinks were good but service was slow for how many people we saw working. Would probably return for drinks and apps.
Second time and it did not disappoint. Great cocktails and amazing seasonal selections.
Casual atmosphere, excellent food.
Awesome brunch, great waitress and service. Loved every item we ordered. Flatbread, biscuits, peppers and phoutin was not so great but good!
We will def be back soon! Oh, and cocktails yummy too! Thank you
Foods amazing - def get the pork belly lettuce wraps, the steak, the salmon, and the spicy cocktail. I didn’t sit inside but it had a nice ambiance inside and would be a great indoor seated restaurant. Want to come back and try the brunch!
Great spot for brunch. Outdoor seating was nice and services was very good. I will definitely be back again.
What a pleasant surprise! We’d never been to Bonfire, but we will definitely be going back often. Everything was excellent !
Bonfire has a warm and inviting vibe that is enhanced by excellent service from the staff. The draft list is a carefully selected mix from local and top regional craft breweries, and the cocktails are fun and refreshing. We had the mussels and roasted Brussel sprouts to start. The mussel broth was tomato-based and delicious, so be sure to ask for extra crostini for dipping. The salmon, Nashville (not too) hot sandwich and house burger were all very good. The side of greens in lieu of potatoes for the sandwiches was a welcome offering. Will definitely dine here again.
Great food and service
