Great Dinner Experience.
Wonderful steaks, great service, eating in a New York-style steak house is a classic in Atlanta. Great for birthdays -which was mine that day-and was treated like royalty all the way thru the meal. The mile-high ice cream pie with a candle was a nice touch too.
Absolutely perfect lunch. Jonathan was a perfect waiter attentive but not too. Food was perfect. Lobster bisque was their own and to die for. And the Birthday dessert was fit for a king. All the staff added to the greatness of the place. Will go back again and again.
Thank you to Bones staff for such a lovely dinner! I will definitely come back my next time in ATL.
Great experience. Great food. Highly recommend Napoleon appetizer. Excellent service!!!!
Our server seems like he does not care about us. He did not ask us about the food or something else. That is not a high end restaurant service level.
Once again Bones set the standard for food quality and experience. My wife and I were celebrating our 35th anniversary. We were treated like royalty - the service was out fo this world and the food was great as always
local landmark, great service, great food, consistent wait staff
Bones continues to be one of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta. Our last visit was a wonderful dining experience.
Hadn't been to bones in decades. i did like the apparently more casual dress code than some of the finer steakhouses like Hal's. The dirty martini was good, the welcome couldn't have been nicer, especially since i had to add a seat to my table for six. BUT. the excessive wait for our salads of over 30 minutes (maybe 40!) was ridiculous. i did like the bones house salad. it was great, especially the pistachios added. but that wait for the salad kind of set the tone for our dissatisfaction. however, it was a family get together, so we were not at a shortage for conversation to pass the time, thank goodness. i might go back, but then again, I actually might not.
Definitely a great choice for celebrating a special occasion! Wagyu Carpaccio was awesome! The steaks were outstanding and the hash browns were as good as Roesti from Switzerland! Great meal all around!
Our server, Trevor, was fabulous. Perfect level of attentiveness and knowledge. And a nice guy. We did have to wait a little longer for a table than expected, given we had a reservation, but it was all fine in the end.
Honestly, this place was good but nowhere close to the hype.
The food was excellent and so was the service. We enjoyed celebrating my wife's birthday at Bones.
Bone's is exactly what you expect from an iconic, "old school" Steakhouse. From the minute you walk in, the service is impeccable. The atmosphere is upscale and quite comfortable, the wine list is impressive, though quite expensive, as is the food. But as is the case in most restaurants, you get what you pay for. The Wagyu carpaccio is melt in your mouth good! I'd definitely recommend the Bones salad....great combo of Boston lettuce, gorgonzola and pistachio with a mild vinaigrette. And then there's the steaks! Generous, well aged cuts cooked to perfection. Be sure to try the corn pudding and the Truffle Mashed potatoes.....fluffy and oh so delicious. Great compliment to a good piece of beef. You wont get out for under $100 per person, especially if you have apps and cocktails, but it's a splurge that's well worth it!
Always a classic. Great 16 th birthday dinner for my son.
The food is hard to beat. Our guests were overwhelmed! The tower appetizer followed by aged steaks make a combination hard to beat. But the pecan pie was better than anywhere....the definition of southern pecan!
Continues to be the best in Atlanta. Not just for steak but for food in general.
My wife and I had a fantastic experience to celebrate our anniversary. From the moment we walked in, until the moment we left, the service was incredible. The food was tremendous and we really appreciated the special touches they provided for us since we were celebrating a special occasion. A must visit when in Atlanta. We can’t wait to go back!
Our favorite steak house in Atlanta, maybe even the whole country. Steaks are the star, but everything else is also terrific, from the confident, professional and warm staff to the side dishes (hash browns are other worldly) and more, even the little bone shaped shortbread cookies that they give you on the way out. Maybe even our favorite restaurant in any category.
Food and service outstanding
Chef Lewis is to really be commended as the porterhouse steak was really great.
The server was friendly and very attentive. Service was and accurate and the food was cooked just right.
He really made my birthday special!!!
The experience was very disappointing. We had to wait 30 minutes to be seated and when we were seated it was fairly cold. They forgot our drinks and when we reminded them they brought them out and said they were comped. Then they were on the bill. The $50 filet was filled with grizzle and the scallops were cooked incorrectly. The soup was cold on the top and hot on the bottom and everything lacked seasoning in general. The meal also took more than 1.5 hours.
Fabulous, as always!
The service, atmosphere and the food were absolutely outstanding. It's one of the nicest restaurants I've ever been to but the staff made us still feel comfortable and explained everything on the menu to us. They had a great wine menu (I don't like wine, but this place made me want a glass). The steak was the best that I've ever tasted - it was seasoned perfectly and so tender that it just melted in your mouth. My boyfriend and I both got the porterhouse and it filled us both up easily. The sides were also great. I loved everything about this place. It's pricey but you get what you pay for. I loved everything about Bones and it will always be a go-to place for us for special occasions.
It was a great experience. It was a celebration of my birthday and I proposed and now have a fiancè. It was an amazing experience.
Very disappointing experience! Bone in filet was the worst I have ever been served. The server was unattentive and extremely poor for what was to expected at this venue. Very overpriced and definitely not worth it. There are so many fantastic steakhouses in Atlanta and unfortunately, this isn't one of them! Sad as it was a family member's birthday and it should have been so special....
Very cozy and comfy ambiance. Recommend arriving early and enjoy a steakhouse envy bar.
Been driving from South Carolina to enjoy special occasions like anniversaries and birthdays at Bones since 1981. Still our most favorite restaurant in US. Shared dry aged 28 oz Porterhouse with my bride of 38 years. Don’t think I’ve had a better steak ever!
The restaurant was pleasant, professional and the food was on point!!! My customers where very impressed!
My husband and I visited here for out Anniversary and Wow!!! Everything was absolutely amazing!!! The staff is so attentive and very kind everyone greeted us with "Happy Anniversary " that was cute. The food is always the best even the water is good!!! We previously went for my Birthday last year and wanted to go for our Anniversary, we will definitely be back again!!!!!
Best in Atlanta
I always sit at the bar and the service is always great!
Lots of staff changing roles.
Best in Atlanta. The only place I eat when here. Will be back soon.
Service was great, but could have offered to pour my brothers beer. The steak was cooked as ordered, I would like to say if you go here plan on spending about $70 per person at a minimum. With drinks and appetizers more.
Thank you for a great experience.
Food was outstanding - service was even better.
I only wish we could give Charlie 6 stars.
Always excellent service and food. The filet melts in your mouth.
Great service and great food. Love it. One of my favorite places.
