Bonefish Grill - Mandarin
We were disappointed with our visit this time. We've always loved this Bonefish, but not so much this evening. First, I couldn't make a reservation until 8:00 PM because supposedly it was booked up. We got there at 7:30 and there were just a handful of people there. On the bright side, we were seated immediately. Our server was awesome. Very attentive. She was in no way the problem. The music playing was some very bad 70s music that was too loud and did not lend itself to what should be playing for ambience in a nice restaurant. The cobia was highly rated, but I was told they didn't have any, which was a surprise since there weren't that many people there. And my husband's rainbow trout was very dry. All in all, not that pleasant of an experience. We were there for our anniversary, and when we left, we decided we had picked the wrong place. Next year we'll find a different place to go.
Our waiter was very good and very attentive. We did have a time crunch bc we were headed to a show across the street. Nice gluten free menu options for a guest who has Celiac Disease so that was really a plus!
Celebrated birthday. Wonderful meal.........awesome bang, bang shrimp and trout.
Brought out the appetizer and followed 30 seconds later with the main meals. Did not even bring the salads out at all. We have been going to this location since it opened. Over the last year the quality of service and the food has greatly declined.
Thank you for taking reservations as that took away the worry and being taken right to ones table is far more pleasant than waiting around. Our server, Turner, was my idea of "just right" he kept an eye on the table and provided the service when needed but didn't interrupt our conversation. He also provided the information needed but didn't pressure us. He got the advice about the correct wine for our fish dish from the restaurants wine expert.
Father’s Day...1:30pm reservation. Seated quickly, somewhat busy. Things were on the slow side....not frustrating, but noticeable.
Food was perfect, and the Strawberry Shortcake is something that feeds 2 and you should NOT miss!
Great Fathers Day meal. Hadn’t been in a long time-really enjoyed it.
The hostess failed to assess our points for our visit.
We have been there on a few occasions and the last 2 times it has not met our expectations. It was our anniversary and I ordered off the specials list. The dish was not prepared as indicated an I had 1 baby scallop on top of the so call stuffed wolfish which was not stuffed. A similar thing happened in the past. Also, we order the fancy Martini special which was supposed to have a floating edible orchard and it did not. We wanted those for our picture. The Waitress did not inform us that they did not have the Orchids. The Manager tried making up for it with 2 glasses of Champagne, which we both do not enjoy. Nothing was taken off the bill. I would recommend The Chart House over Bonefish from now on. We are done.
The server we were given was less than attentive. The server I grabbed to help find our original one was VERY good! He brought our apps super quick & replaced my drink which was not made correctly. They did not comp the drink that was made wrong. The food was fairly tasty which saved the evening...along with the help of the second server!
We love our server. Attention to detail b
He is fabulous.
Great until they put on loud obnoxious music
Totally changed the ambiance.
It is classy and pretty..,....ruined with that music!
In general, experience was very good. Josh was an excellent server. Bang bang was great as expected. The lobster roll, however, was less than great for $19.95. Roll was small and hard. Lobster filling (what there was of it-maybe a tablespoon) was prepared more like tuna salad w/no chunks like typical lobster roll. Very disappointing for the price. Will not order again.
Their dinner specials are really good value and come with great choices.
Food is always great. However, considering Wednesday’s is always one of their most busiest days, more wait staff is needed.
We have been there many times, but my wife misses the Ahi Tuna special on Tuesdays.
The Sunday Brunch has some great menu choices, and everything is always so good!
Just ok experience since they were short on servers.
It was a great meal and service!!
Great food great service!
Food and service were great as usual. Unfortunately, we had a crying baby in the booth next to us so it made it hard for us to have a conversation.
Too expensive for the food quality. Our server was very good, otherwise it would have been a total disappointment .
As usual the service and food was excellent!
This restaurant is great for Sunday brunch, which is what we had.
Great Food! Always consistent with freshness and flavor!
Caribbean Cobia with the mango salsa was excellently prepared and very tasty. My wife’s ahi bowl was also a big hit. Service was somewhat disappointing, especially for a restaurant of this caliber.
Food was good as always. Service was ok, but more servers are needed as Wednesday’s get very busy and customers tend to have to wait longer for good service.
I loved the corn chowder
Best cocktails!!!! Bang Bang shrimp a must. Fresh seafood daily. Can’t go wrong
Great Happy Hour specials. Love their martinis etc. had the Waygu beef sliders. Excellent. Calamari excellent.
Great service, wine and food!
Delicious food with healthy choices! Will definitely be back! Service was great!
We have been going to Bonefish for years and have usually enjoyed dining there. Saturday night we did not have a good experience. My husband ordered the Italian seafood risotto and I ordered the salmon plank special. My husbands food was bland and the shrimp was way over cooked and the scallops where gritty and not cleaned well. There was barely any risotto in the dish. My salmon was very overcooked and dry and the potatoes tasted like instant potatoes, the broccoli was almost raw and bland, no flavor at all. We were very disappointed in our meal which I really hate because we have enjoyed dining there in the past.
My favorite part about bonefish was our waiter (Brian). He was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and didn’t hesitate to give us suggestions. Brian recommended an awesome dish that I truly enjoyed. He was funny yet professional. I will return to bonefish.
When we arrive at our reservation time they indicated it would be an hour wait. The gentleman ahead of us reservation was 7:00 and it was 8:15 and he still wasnt seated yet.
No wait on seating. Reservation was prompt...
We have No complaints. Food and service was great. Open table works great. We were running late and called bonefish and they were very nice to up it 10 mins.
They need a chef and staff to manage the kitchen...waited 45 mins for bang bang shrimp... waitress was nowhere to be found...asked the hostess for our chef as she was passing by... waitress came over and advised us the kitchen was behind and it would be another 15mins before the shrimp was ready...
Ordered our dinner.. I had crust cod...for 27.50...my dinner consisted of some sort of instant mashed potatoes...an end piece of cod.that was the tail end and a1/2 inch thick and cooked to Oblivion...not flaky but dry and crumbly.... asparagus that was$4 extra was the only thing that was edible...no waitress to bring this atrocious meal to her attention.... have several gifts cards to use but I might just as well throw them away.... don't think I'll ever go back...$87 for nothing...at least provide fish that is edible... I can cook it better at home....
Always one of our favorite spots!
