                                I know that this place is relatively new, but at some point they need to say no. It was overbooked based on the staff and kitchen. My aged steak did not taste that way and was not worth the $55. I will try again but not for a good while.

                                We were disappointed in the 24 inch ribeye dinners. There wasn’t enough meat and was very expensive for what we got. The service was great!

                                Six of us dined at Bone-In Prime on New Year's Eve. In summary, we will never return to this restaurant. The food was terrible, the ambience not great, and the service would have received more stars, but I had made arrangements to pay the check ahead of time and then the server brought the check to the table. This was a very disappointing experience. I did not know this restaurant was owned by the same people as Red Fox. Had I known that we would not have dined at this establishment.

                                Went Christmas Eve first visit here. The menu was limited , however, asked if they could make the veal chop that’s on the regular menu for my husband ( his birthday is Christmas Day) Steve, one of our servers, checked and the chef said he could make it. We were thrilled. Husband said Veal chop was excellent topped with a fried shrimp and scallop, mashed potatoes and green beans. My chicken piccata was also excellent served over mashed potatoes and roasted broccoli. Steve and Bellmen (our other server), were attentive, polite and friendly. The restaurant was very cold when we arrived, they just had opened for the evening…it did warm up but it took a bit of time. We will definitely return

                                We were seated promptly and given bread almost immediately. The bread didn't look appetizing and bite confirmed it. It was dry and had an odd texture. It came with on oil based dipping sauce, so I figured perhaps that would help. Big mistake. The oil was super hot/spicy and tasted awful. Now I was forced to eat more bad bread trying to get that taste out of my mouth. Our server was pleasant and took our cocktail orders. Both our cocktails were delicious. I had their version of the Manhattan and my wife enjoyed the "passion". Our salads we decent except that mine came on a hot plate. I was afraid to try the in house dry aged steaks, so I got the regular NY strip. It was a reasonable cut of meat reasonably prepared. The ladies room was out of soap at 6:30 PM and the latch on the stall didn't work. Little details that should have been better executed. The highlight of the meal was the carrot cake. Moist and delicious. This is the sort of restaurant that Cheshire has been needing for some time. I wish it was amazing and not just OK.

                                Dress was suppose to be business casual. No one vetted those that were not. Therefore restaurant was like all the rest- no up class. Food was okay, drink was barely satisfactory. Beef tips were overcooked and tough. Veggies were good.

                                Waiter did not ask my name upon arrival although I made reservations, he rushed us in to a table. We were still waiting for 1 party to show up and he was told that. He proceeded to ask us if we wanted a drink or appetizers. All within 5 minute period while awaiting our other guest. Our guest shows up and he brings her to another room at a table by herself. She sees us and lets him know and he rushes her in to sit. He then admires her eyes and asks if we are related. WTF. This continued the entire meal which was average. Bone In Dry Aged Steaks. I had the Strip 18 oz. 6 of which was thick grissle. The 2 Bone In Filets were OK. Not Capital or J Gil Quality. A pretty annoying service which was unfortunate we had higher expectations.

                                We loved the menu and love good food, so were eager to give it a try. My one star is because nobody was unkind and were honestly working hard to run a business in these troubled times. Otherwise, I’d give no stars. This experience was evenly disappointing from top to bottom. Our server was out of their depth which was likely not their fault, but did not know what was on or off the menu. We had a show to get to so luckily came in at 530 but everything moved at a glacial pace. The ambiance is non existent- we were seated at the edge of the dining area next to banquet space in open space with bright lighting and a view of steam trays, and it felt like we were eating in a department store. The make your own charcuterie included bland meats and cubes of tasteless orange cheddar among our choices. The chance was slim that was aged cheddar - if it’s not, that’s cool, but don’t describe it that way on the menu. My fish was cold, my husband’s bernaise sauce was not bernaise but our server insisted it was, and we didn’t stay for dessert. We don’t mind spending a lot for a great meal, and we eat out often. We really wanted this to be good. This place is not worth the price, or anything close to it, and we would not recommend.

                                We started our evening with oysters and cocktails at the bar and then moved into the dining room for a nice dinner. Our appetizers were all good and our steaks were prepared to perfection. One of us had sautéed spinach that had been somewhat over cooked and was overly salty but everything else was good. The two bottles of wine that we had were there were good as well. Two of us had the Affogato for dessert and it was not made in in the traditional fashion but it was still quite good and interesting. We would return for dinner again.

                                I don't normally take the time to write restaurant reviews but feel this restaurant needs honest feedback to fulfill their potential. The food was well prepared and flavorful. The staff was young and very inexperienced. Ordered bone in filet and 2 sides. Everything was cooked perfectly but the filet was only warm when served. Sides were delivered 10 minutes after and were barely warm. Complimentary side sauces were never delivered. Our server was a great kid but didn't pay attention to the details. Price is equivalent to Ruth Chris, Peter Luger, etc., but the dining experience doesn't compare because of the reasons listed above. Too bad because the area really needs a good steakhouse.

                                Phenomenal new steakhouse in Cheshire!… our party had oysters, shrimp cocktail, calamari and lobster crab cakes to start, all were great! I had the 10oz filet for dinner with a lobster tail which might be the best filet I’ve ever had. Everyone else in the party enjoyed their meals as well! Service was flawless, and the wine selection is solid!! Highly recommend for any occasion
