Most impeccable time. It’s a sure thing every time!
Great - just very expensive
We used to love this place but it seems the quality has gone down. Salad and appetizers were very good. Main courses (black cod and salmon) were dry and overcooked. Sushi was average.
Great food and great atmosphere! A little pricey but the food is worth it! Come with a group and share plates!
Great service and food. Bartender was extremely nice and we had a great conversation.
First time at BondST and loved it. The food was excellent, the salmon was a bit overcooked but once we spot to the young lady who was responsible for our table they removed it from the bill. Excellent service overall, and the bar downstairs is really nice.
Also, I have a lot of allergies (nuts, sesame seeds, peanuts, caviar), and the staff took excellent care of me (Sophia was great!). So if you have allergies, you can still have a great meal there.
Cozy yet trendy classic NY establishment with amazing food. Greg is an incredible bartender and makes the experience that much more enjoyable. Highly recommend.
Some dishes are really salty that I need to drink a lot of water afterwards. The quality of the sashimi is not matching the price..
Honestly the worst Japanese food I had in New York. The squid ink pasta is 34 dollars and tasted like absolutely nothing; it might just be noodles boiled in water. The mushroom rice was really salty and it was just soy sauce mixed with rice. I’m not saying the seafood isn’t fresh or anything, but the cooking, the service and the value you get are barely minimum. It is pathetic that this place prides itself in high-end Japanese food. Go find other places in New York; you deserve better.
Desde la a5encion x telefono para cambios en.la reserva te das cuenta de la super calidad del servicio. Comida excelente ambiente . Volveria sin duda
Another delightful meal. But...... dessert came and....... the BondSt donuts had been removed from the menu. The horror, the horror. I'll have to get over it,it will be difficult. There was a waiter started rumor that they may be brought back. PLEASE, please ( with a James Brown flourish of my cape and down on my knees) bring back the donuts.
Still my favorite New York City restaurant and my favorite Japanese restaurant. Period!
Amazing dinner with a great ambiance and excellent food
Been coming here for years. It always feels fresh, never dated or tired. The interior is quite small which adds to the intimate vibe. Cocktails are amazing, too.
Always great food. Service and atmosphere great as well. I come back every time I’m in town
amazing food, try the pork belly appetizer
Bond Street is a impeccable as it was 15 years ago when I first went there.
Our third time here for dinner, food is brilliant as always.
Don’t miss the tuna pizza appetizer
Still going strong after more than 30 years in business.
This was my first visit to BONDST. I must warn you: The Big Eye Tuna Tart will absolutely change your life. It's quite amazing! It's a very hip spot and the host was very charming and accommodating. The wait staff is a bit militant and cold but the food was expedited quickly. I was disappointed with the sushi rolls we ordered. They seemed really cold as if they had been made in advance. The Broiled Chilean Sea Bass was fantastic. I would definitely go back.
Been coming here for decades it seems . What once was an iconic restaurant is no more . Unless you are 20 something with your daddies credit card stay far far away.....horrible crowd service and dining experience all around
My favorite place
Lovely place. Great staff. Friendly bartender and host.
Fab restaurant we were recommended to visit by a NYC local. It did not disappoint. As New Zealanders it was fantastic to be able to visit somewhere off the well- trodden tourist track. Well worth the effort for the awesome food.
Best Asian in town
Some of the tastiest Japanese we’ve had in a long time. Service was good because it was quiet. Good cocktails and wine too.
Very sophisticated Japanese restaurant. Relaxed with impeccable, pleasant, and informative service. A little more casual at the sushi bar and in the sushi bar room. Excellent selection of sake. An all-round classic that has stood the test of time.
Incredible food and great service! Everything we ordered was delicious. Can’t wait to go back!!!
Great food, nice and inviting service
Quiet music. Amazing place for a date
Amazing as always
Delicious and reasonably priced omakase! Had an enjoyable time sitting at the bar with the sushi chefs.
Great service, quiet, and great place for date night. Food, however, was quite mediocre. Sushi was very overpriced, unimpressive, and not authentic. Over $120 for 4 nigiris, 2 rolls, and eggplant tapa.
The best restaurant in NYC!!! The best service and ambiance. I would totally come back again. The service is fast and great. Every dish is outstanding. 5 stars!
Ate here while in NYC on business and it was so good we made coming back a priority while here on vacation. The Big Eye Tuna tarts and the Sea Bass are some of the best things I’ve eaten in Nee York and I’ve eaten here a good deal. Thanks to the staff for making my return visit with my wife equally memorable.
They need to have less attitude at check in & 1000% they need renovate the space, it’s very dated
One of our favorite restaurants in the City. We are repeat clients and love to try the specials. The chef is wonderful and creative. Ingredients are mixed to perfection. They are Michelin level without the star.
We had a great meal from cocktails through sushi and cooked food and sake! Boisterous loud fun place with great food and service.
Bond St had delicious cocktails, and very good service. Now on the topic of sushi, I am a bit of a snob. Don't get me wrong, I had some great tasting toro and rolls...but for the price it was a little expensive. Bond St had a good selection of fish that was all fresh. They decorated some dishes with gold flakes and presented it clean, a little flashy but still simple. I will absolutely go back, but most likely for drinks with a side of sushi.
Simply put, if you are looking to have real sushi/sashimi meal, this is not the restaurant to go to.
