This place has loads of great reviews but I can’t add to that list. Food was mediocre, salad was overdressed. Happy hour specials pull people in but I would maybe only return for a beer. My server disappeared for a while; hence, the low score.
Kudos to the kitchen runners, though. Very friendly and attentive.
I booked brunch for ten here for a friend's bachelor party weekend. The atmosphere is fantastic: largely a young crowd, and energetic without being overly loud or crowded. Although we sat inside, we had a fantastic view of the water--it looked like the outdoor seating was even better.
The food was fantastic: all of us ordered a brunch cocktail of some type. I had the pink lemonade mimosa, which was sweet and refreshing without being cloying, as I sadly find many brunch drinks are. I had the crab cake benedict, which was a fantastic choice. I really like that you get two small crab cakes with the eggs over biscuits as opposed to one larger portion, as it allows for better flavor balance (plus, as my friend observed, once you finish the first one, there's a SECOND ONE OVER HERE!) The chicken and waffles were well received. Two misses: the Old Bay tater tots, while delicious, came in too small a portion to be worth $6, and another of our party found the burger sliders to be too small.
This place would be nearly perfect if not for the service. Our waitress had a habit of disappearing, and also brought me the wrong mimosa at first. One of our party ordered the bottomless mimosa, but he barely got his money's worth, as the waitress was rarely around for him to ask for a refill.
All in all, though, a fun and satisfying brunch option in a great location. Worth checking out if you're in Fells Point.
Food and staff are great.
The hostess at the front with the blonde hair..very rude. I had a reservation and she didn't welcome me at all, just an attitude. When we ask to split the check our waitress rolled her eyes. I was actually very excited to come here and made a hour drive. Will not ever come back for brunch.
Love dining at Bond Street. The food is always delicious, drinks are always tasty, and the ambiance is nice and dark. I feel like sometimes Bond Street gets overlooked when discussing Baltimore's better restaurants.
Great place and food was awesone and the view was amazing
We tried several different dishes and enjoyed all of them.
Friendly staff, tasty food at a high price point...didn’t know how “much” of each were on the small plates...harder to chose with larger parties.
First time at Bond Street Social! Great food, great beer and wine menu and service was outstanding!
Loved the variety of small plate choices. Two of enjoyed three small plates (brisket sliders, Asian meatballs and a generous kale salad with great peanut dressing). The plate come as the food is ready, and it worked out well.
We went for an early Sunday dinner so the restaurant wasn't very busy which meant it was pretty quiet and we could easily talk. However, I imagine when it's full it's very noisy as it's large, open and full of hard surfaces. Loved having the fireplace in the middle of the room. They have an outside seating area that looks great for people watching in warm weather.
I went to Bond Street Social with my family for a birthday brunch. The food was delicious! Our waiter was great! The ambiance is nice as well. We tried most of the menu and the bottomless mimosas. I’d definitely return.
Small plates were serviceable (sliders?) Could be more imaginative. Prices a little high on the food, relative to taste. They have wine by the bottle specials which were more reasonable. 7 pax = $350. Service was the highlight. Attentive without being overbearing. We were in on a Monday and it was quiet.
Bond Street Social is one of our favorite brunch restaurants. Nice variety of creative menu options. Food and drinks are well prepared. Service is attentive. Attractive room, with well spaced tables.
Fun area, nice (fun) ambiance - food was average at best.
Awesome atmosphere and even better cocktails.
Fun place if you like the small plates/tapas concept and like to try bites of different things. Chicken and waffles, duck arepas, pulled pork sliders were hits. Pretzel bites were great but way overpriced for what you get. We enjoyed a mason jar orange crush drink though the drinks were pretty weak (as some others have said). Love the decor/vibe of the place and the service was very attentive (I drink water like nobody's business). I was there with 3 coworkers on a break from our conference and it was a great way to unwind and get away from the conference motif for a bit. I would go back if back in town.
Great atmosphere. My date and I were able to have a decent conversation without raising voices. Always love the food.
The food was amazing! Lots of bite sized options. Great place to go with a group of people.
The service and food were great. It can be a little noisy at times but still worth the visit.
Went for a bachelorette dinner and had great service, food and drinks, the nachos were everyone's fave dish!
The sharing approach worked very well for our mixed group of vegetarians and meat eaters.
Had a wonderful time here for a birthday celebration. We came for Sunday brunch. The food was awesome and served hot. Our waitress was excellent. Only suggestion would be to put a changing table in your bathroom for the little baby diners. Otherwise, it was very baby friendly (the restaurant did work with us to give us a private space to change the baby and this was appreciated!). We will be back!
We went for brunch and overall it was a good experience. Good food, good ambience, and good service.
The service was fantastic, our server was attentive and helpful. We were also seated by a fire, which was excellent because it was so cold outside. The menu was great and it was difficult to choose, but what we did order was delicious, as were the drinks. We will definitely be coming back.
This is my go to spot for brunch!
We had a wonderful time and will be back again! We enjoyed the happy hour specials on a Saturday night, which is not common to find!!
First things first: The food is good, nicely presented and very tasty; our winner was the scallops and polenta. But it's not consistently great food, and the portions are a little skimpy, except for the dessert. The wait staff was very friendly, but the timing of the drinks was a little slow -- I guess because the bar was hopping. Because of that, and due to the way the space is (un)divided, the ambiance is pretty noisy, which was OK with just 2 people at a table, but would be difficult for a conversation with 4 or more. I guess I would recommend BSS for happy hour, but the one cocktail we tried was pretty tame -- we'd have to go back to see if others had more oomph.
Came here for restaurant week. The food was amazing but unfortunately the portions were very small. The vibe was very cool with fireplaces around the restaurant but the fireplace near our table was broken and we were pretty cold. Overall, great experience.
They were super accommodating for my large party. Everyone loved the food. The service was amazing. Definitely planning to come back.
Tapas were very tasty. Great drink specials at happy hour. Friendly staff.
The chicken and waffles was amazing. The small plates to share made dinner fun and foodie. Social drinks are a great value- large pitcher of red sangria was 3 drinks each for 5 people for $50. Great tasting and great deal!
Our Waitstaff was very attentive and friendly! The atmosphere was fun! Most of food was very good. I loved the deviled eggs Benedict and my friend liked her eggplant slider. My husband's pizza was not so good. The dishes, we ordered 6 for 3 of us, came kind of scattered which would be fine if we all wanted to share everything. We are different eaters and ordered vegan , vegetarian and meat dishes so swapping was not an option. One dish arrived before the other 2 and our friend was done eating before anything else arrived at the table. She just kind of waited till were almost done to order dessert. One dish came after her dessert. I think we would have enjoyed dinner more if the small plates came in an organized way so we were all eating at the same time.
Loud, mediocre over salted bar food. Service was slow even though they were not busy. Tiny glasses of wine. Do not go here
Great except they made us wait nearly an hour because our whole party wasn't there even though the majority of us were
Great dinner spot! Food was awesome! Love the tapas portion! Drinks were excellent! Service was friendly!
Brunch was grear
My friends and i had a blast celebrating a birthday among the group. The food was fun and tasty and the ambiance was just right for a Friday Night Out. We will definitely be returning!
First time having brunch at Bond Street. The food is always good - nothing out of this world but I would consider it comfort food. Service was sucky. The waitress seemed like she didn't want to be there...causing me to ask her to clear plates and refill beverages. When I go out to eat, I would like to be catered to. Besides that, I love the location of Bond Street, me and my girlfriends were able to walk around outside for a little after our Brunch!
Overall great dining experience. We will definitely be back!
Everything was very flavorful. Pretty large portions for tapas. Would definitely return.
