NOW featuring a Weekend Breakfast Buffet Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays from 7:00 AM - 10:30 AM
After our Broadway show great place to eat and discuss!
Great location next to theaters
We had been at the restaurant the Saturday night of thanksgiving weekend when a pipe burst and we never got our dinner, so we decided to try again. We were NOT disappointed. The food was wonderful. Service was great! Prices fair for what we got. I would definitely go again next time we are in NYC!!!
The food was INCREDIBLE. I can’t wait to go back! The prices were fair for NYC.
Excellent foos, and service
We had excellent food and a great experience. We ate prior to a show and loved the food. I got the anti-pasta five vegetables dish, my husband got a pasta dish. My husband also got tiramisu, which he loved.
Had a pre-theatre lunch and it was very nice. The restaurant is close to a number of theaters. We had our choice of breakfast or lunch items, and went with thin-crust pizzas that were very tasty. Service was good. I would go back for a future theatre trip.
Buratta app is best
Pre-theatre lunch. Omelet was perfectly prepared in classic French technique. Fluffy and slightly undercooked. 💖
Perfect location for a meal before a play. Service was perfect and food is delicious.
Get in early before your show or be prepared to wait until the 45th Bond movie comes out. Try the Negroni, its great!
Great vegetarian options, well prepared, tasty and lovely service.
ALWAYS a great experience at Bond 45. I have been coming to NYC for years and Bond has been s regular stop, except for the year of the move. You will not be disappointed
What is typical before theater food.
Amazing food but a little pricey. We will be back!
Amazing food and atmosphere!! Loved it! We will be back for sure!!
Bond 45 is located in a fairly new location inside Hotel Edison across the street from the Marquis Theater. Bond 45 dining space is quite larger that its previous location and they have two levels with both providing seating at their bar areas.
Bond 45 dark wood color paneled dining room décor with traditional tile floors and also chandeliers truly accent the appearance. Although the restaurant is known for its Italian fare they have steak as options on their menu.
We arrived earlier than our reservations at Bond 45 so we decided to sit at the downstairs bar for drinks and appetizers while we waited for our table to become available. The bartenders were wonderful and informative. We ordered the grilled artichoke appetizers to share which was fabulous. Especially the lemon aioli sauce.
We eventually were seated in the upstairs dining room in a somewhat quieter location. Our waiter was very attentive and wonderful. Although they had a delightful selection of thin crusted pizzas, I selected the Salmon (True North), while others in my party ordered the Branzino Al Forno, and Red Shrimp Scampi. We also ordered Nona's Meatball's as an appetizer.
Everything was fabulous and I must thank my Yelp Elite friend for her recommendation of Bond 45.
Wait staff and management are outstanding given the energetic and busy atmosphere before a Broadway show.
I really thought this was a beautiful restaurant. I had an appetizer of Caesar salad to start. It was a typical Caesar salad. For the entre I had the chicken parmigiana that was served in the shape of a pizza. It was too salty buy otherwise flavorful. It was a very large portion, and I only finished half of it. The waiter was excellent and very attentive. My meal was served promptly. I would return to this restaurant but “hold the salt”!
We’ve been to Bond 45 so many times and we’re so disappointed today. Server was ambivalent, the food was mediocre. Selections from antipasto bar included eggplant park with more skin than vegetable—eggplant Parma was burnt and appeared to be leftover. Tortellini entree was appetizer portion.
Sorry for the negativity—it takes a lot to make us unhappy diners...besides, we’ve always enjoyed dining at Bond 45 and will miss it.
This was a truly OUTSTANDING dining experience!
I was there for lunch with my elderly parents--and EVERY staff member was understanding and accommodating.
AND THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS!!!
GREAT appetizers (we had soup/Fried Artichokes)--and everyone LOVED their entrees (Veal Parm, Chicken Parm, and Salmon)--it was BY FAR the BEST Chicken Parm Ive had in many many years
And, there is a reason why Bond 45 is known for their Chocolate Mousse!!!
They seated us downstairs at the very back of the room., which was actually the pathway to the kitchen.
Tables should not even be there
I won’t go back
I pick Bond 45 for pre theater and tonight was a bit of a surprise. It is no reflection on the wait staff unfortunately, there was some issue in the kitchen (that required an ambulance) so the food was very very slow in coming out. We ordered right after 6pm and we did not receive our pizzas (the waiter said that would be the quickest) until 6:44 with a 7pm curtain. Needless to say we rushed through our dinner even paying the check before we got our food. The waiter and hostess kept apologizing but there were many tables with the same time for their shows.
The food was very good when we finally got it.
We ordered from the antipasto bar and all of the veggies ere quite good. The broccolini had a bit too much garlic.
The pizzas were light and crisp with a good mix of sauce and cheese.
I have been here many times and this night was a bit off as far as service.
Great for pre-theater and for brunch.
My advice is to get there early for evening pre-theater..
Everything was great. The host was very helpful and the waiter, Leon, was very knowledgeable about the menu, drinks and desserts. Also, very kind and respectful.
Great portions..easy to share.
One chicken parm fed two.
Made reservations on Open Table...I have been here a few times and this has never happened before. Arrived only to wait for a table because I requested upstairs only. (I am handicapped and can't do steps and don't like elevators). We were assured we would get out in time for the 7 pm show. I ordered a Cobb salad with Lobster, and my friend ordered roast chicken.. service was VERY slow.. We got our meal at 6:15, choked it down with no time for dessert or even coffee..
The salad had 1 very tiny piece of lobster...I didn't expect an entire lobster, but for goodness sakes...you are charging $32 for basically the salad.
Excellent choice if you’re going for a Broadway show afterwards. It’s closed all the theaters and the wait staff turns the table over pretty fast if you want or can slow it down if you want to linger
One of our favorite per-theater dining spots. Really enjoy the ambiance, service and really good food. A very "New York" restaurant. Not too fussy. Not formal. Just fun.
We really enjoy going to this restaurant.
The service is excellent. The staff is very pleasant. The food is good. We don't like the unisex bathrooms at all. It's not necessary and made us all, male and female, feel uncomfortable. As a female I noticed that the cleanliness factor was lacking in the bathroom. Truth.
Too crowed, waiter was very good but still felt rushed. Table were small and seemed dirty. Food was just ok. $50 for an Outback quality steak. Tables so close that the wait staff could not get by. I went to the old Bond 45 and it was much better. Felt like cattle being pushed in and out. Will not be back
Outstanding was perfect for after a 2 O'clock show.
We selected Bond 45 for an early dinner before our Broadway show on Saturday. It was great to make reservations since it quickly got busy. The noise level in the lower level was fine, even though every table was full. The service was attentive and friendly. We enjoyed our meals and liked the select 3 or 5 vegetable plate that we all shared. The portions were reasonable - enough to share, but not so huge that we had leftovers. The calimari was very fresh and the lobster and shrimp diablo was flavorful with a good amount of the seafood. Our favorite was the chicken parm - nicely seasoned and tender. The prices were fair for NY. Nice wine selection as well. The portion on the chocolate cake was huge and we could not finish it! I definitely recommend Bond 45.
I'm so happy to have discovered this appealing, attractive, delicious place with great ambiance, service and food! It's also very convenient for theater-goers, as it's located right in the middle of the theater district. My antipasto dish (3 or 5 choices) was fresh and tasty. Excellent all around!
Diverse menu and never disappointed.
oh my love this restaurant very friendly staff and the food is awesome
We had a lovely time at Bond 45 with excellent food and service!
Food was really good! Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars for food is because the appetizers say Family Size for sharing but that really isn’t the case. The portion size of the three appetizers we ordered were for one, maybe two people at most.
Good food, good service, not expensive but not a bargain either.
We had a delicious dinner after an afternoon matinee. We sat at the bar for a few minutes after our show and then moved to our comfortable table that was not crowded or too close to others. This is a rare find in town. The food was delicious and the wait staff and bartenders couldn’t have been nicer or more attentive. Highly recommended!!!
Took the family and all had great entree’s, and service.
