Came here after seeing Hamilton and had a GREAT meal! Fun place, great food, nice drinks and wine menu. Host , hostess and wait staff were great. Definitely will come back when in the Bway area. Booth seating was very comfy ! Overall, capped off a great day here!

This is our 1st visit to the new Bond 45. We loved the original and expected the same great experience but was greatly disappointed. The menu just changed the weekend that we visited, and for the worse. The bucket of chocolate mousse desert was gone and no whipped cream in the house. The new desserts were very disappointing. The food came out cold. The filet mignon tough. The pasta dishes were extremely salty. The only good dishes were the short rib meatballs and chopped salad. We did however receive great service. Jennifer was excellent. She was attentive to our needs but unfortunately she did not run the kitchen. We are looking for a new favorite restaurant.

Had dinner with my wife and two granddaughters after a show. Simple menu and the food was excellent. Service was very good. Food prices were very reasonable but the drink prices were high. My wife had an amoretto sour- $17 and I had a glass of Cabernet-$25. I would definitely go back but save my drinking for after dinner and somewhere else.

Beautiful restaurant- nice menu. Was seated by the front window which would have been nice but it was a windy and chilly day and it was very uncomfortable.
Also the waiter was not as attentive as he could have been.

Good service. The food was mixed reviews. Pizza was good - very thin. The truffle chicken pasta was so dry and the chicken was flavorless. Probably a just ok meal.

Went back a second time. My food was lukewarm and my daughter’s steak was burnt (she asked for medium). I’m disappointed, I went a couple of weeks ago and it was great. I’ll give them one more try because they’re convenient to my office and theaters.

Pre-theater weekday lunch.
Liked the old place better as an easy pre-theater spot. Somehow this has lost a bit of the appealing old quirkiness. Maybe will recover it with time.
New one: Comfortable booths but overwhelmingly noisy. Very hard to converse. They need to fix this. If they do, we’d give it another try.
Had a very good server, but he was overloaded. They need to fix this, too.
Crab-avocado salad generous but way too much mayo. Nice bread course.
Cappuccino came in too-small cup for American style service. Only a couple of sips before you hit all foam. Had to order two, and still felt shortchanged.

The food was GREAT, we got the wrong meal, and it took an hour to get Appetizers but it was delicious. The hostess was AMAZING, they gave us prosecco because it was my birthday - so special. I will go back for sure but make sure you set your timing straight from he start.

Something must have been wrong the night we dined. When we sat down we ordered a glass of wine and our meal at the same time. The wine was delivered and then immediately our plates were put in our faces. We were allowed no time to relax and enjoy our wine and conversation before dining. We had theater tickets and needed to leave and it took over 1/2 hour to pay our bill. We even had put our coats on and still no one was tending to our table. Finally I had to get up, go toward the bar and flag someone down to help us. It still took an additional 15 minutes at this point. The food is absolutely outstanding but they need to step up their service.

Dinner was very good and 4:45 was the perfect reservation time for a 7 pm show. Our waiter Luis was very nice and helped us with our wine selection. Dessert and the coffee was delicious too.

Food was exceptional. Bathroom needed clean up attention. Bread and water server had a pleasant smile but spoke no English so we could not communicate with him. Still, a favorite restaurant of ours.

I loved the old Bond 45 but it's moved to 46th Street left a lot behind. The antipasto plate was mediocre and much smaller than in Prior years. The food was very salty and the surface was disappointing

First time and really enjoyed it. The staff were friendly, took the time to really connect with us, didn't just take our order. It was busy and it took over an hour to get our food, but it was worth the wait. So if you have a enough time to eat here I highly recommend it, but not good for a quick bite.

TOO LITTLE, TOO LATE! With a 5:45 dinner reservation, we thought we had plenty of time to enjoy dinner before theater. We made sure to let our server know we were seeing a show. Our appetizers, which were delicious, arrived promptly. Then came the wait. We told out waiter we were concerned, but nothing happened. After I got up and spoke to the GM, our entrees finally came, but I had to take mine to go, as there wasn't any time left to eat. My veal milanese looked delicious and I was hungry, but one of our friends walks with the help of a cane and therefore could not be rushed on the busy streets. Had our meal been served on time and had we enjoyed coffee and dessert, it would have been a fantastic experience. Unfortunately, this should not occur in a restaurant in the Theater District.

The service was wonderful. Our server made sure we were able to enjoy our meal and made it special by acknowledging my birthday. Bread was good. Chopped salad was great and was large enough to split. Dinners were average and on the heavy side. We sat upstairs and thought the restaurant looked different than pictured. Ask to sit downstairs if you want the room with the hanging pendant lights. Overall good time.

We love Bond 45 for pre-theater dining. The food is consistent and delicious. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable. If they are aware that you are going to the theater, they will make sure you are out in time without feeling rushed. We missed them during their move from 45th to 46th Street but are very happy to have them back in a lovely new setting.

The restaurant just reopened 2 weeks ago. My favorite dish from years ago was the pounded pork chop cutlet. Unfortunately, that was not yet on the menu. So I ordered an alternate entree and it was excellent.

The bar, believe it or not, did not have any Crown Royal--again, my drink of choice. But again, I selected an alternate cocktail and everything was fine. That fact that we all had what we considered an excellent dining experience, despite those shortcomings, only speaks to the excellence of the food and the great personality of the waitstaff

Bond 45 is the "sister" restaurant of Cafe Fiorello across from Lincoln Center, We are regulars at Cafe Fiorello and was delighted to find it is just as good. The menu is geared a bit more to tourists but the anitpasta bar is "nonpareil". We also had the 14 oz prime ribsteak which was tender and delicious and cooked prefectly. Carlos Fusco formerly managed Fiorello and he is
doing the same terrific job here.

My husband and I ordered the eggplant with pappardelle. I noticed that it was very spicy after a bite which I had not expected. The waiter was solicitous. He checked with the kitchen and found that they eggplant had a marinade that included red pepper flakes. I usually specify no spices especially pepper but hadn't expected this plate to have it. The waiter quickly exchanged the eggplant for a different pasta dish, an ox ragu tordellini, that had only very minimal pepper and it was excellent. I will not make assumptions in future since this happened once before where dishes were unexpectedly spiced with no indication on the menu. PS The spicy eggplant was good as well according to my husband.

In the past, Bond’s was one of my favorite theater district restaurants. My first visit to the new location was a disaster. After sitting, we were served cold bread asked to heat it up only coming back chewy. If the bread is bad nowadays you know you’re in for trouble.
The appetizer and main courses were awful.
We were served the main course five minutes into our appetizers. The servers seemed confused, and clueless that these things were happening. I was starting to wonder if I was in NYC. I hope that these are just opening jitters and that over the next few months they will get their act together and the old Bond’s will reappear.
Sad.

An interesting remake of the original on 45th Street. We ate on the basement level which is decorated with flat screens showing ocean views so it's not your typical "cellar" environment. Food was good and the service was prompt and friendly.
